“Carrot Insurance... For someone who needs car insurance I would happily recommend this insurance group to anyone... However there are a few things to consider which would not affect everyone. Carrot Insurance cost me 2,000 as I paid a little extra for some millage mainly the reason that I need to use the car to help me get out and about, help out with my parents taking them shopping, going to events for university studies and personal use. The insurance was amazing setting up. The iBox installer guy was an amazing laugh and was enthusiastic with his cars like me. After that I was able to go on the road and enjoy my first time behind the wheel. The iBox (Carrot Dashboard) I think its really awesome with a stunning GUI. The score system is amazing as you get to know how your driving is. For me I think its fantastic as you can get to have a good relationship with your car and understand how your driving is. It puts a good mind to you when you see that your scores are good as it makes you feel great that you drive well and allows you to reflect on your drives to improve later on. At the moment I am getting bad smoothness scores which now I can see how I can improve this and earn some goodies later on. However here is the considerations: For instances the price is quite a lot, however it got some amazing qualities to it like earning rewards and having a good depth on your driving skills. But if you have Autism like me and sometimes only driving with a car is the only way getting you out of the house, it will complain and mark your usage with a bad score. However, do not let this ruin your decision to use Carrot as its great but I would wish they would consider usage as sometimes they don't know why sometimes why the usage is used a lot. But overall this insurance is great, haha phoning might be a pain but its a well worth place to go to insure your beast of a car. Mine is a FIESTA 2006 FREEDOM 1.25 which is a great first car. I have had no troubles with them YET but it has been a fab ride with them and looking forward to staying with Carrot for a long time.”

“Ive been with Carrot Insurance for around 10 months now. I have had a few difficulties changing the date of my payments but other than that its been a great insurance company to go with. Especially with it being the company that charged me the least amount of money. Staff are usually ver polite and friendly. Although waiting times are usually about 45 mins to actually get threw to speak to someone at customer service. But regarding the actual insurance company everything has ran smoothly and i am able to see how ive been driving on a daily basis.”

“This is my second black box policy, there is no escaping the outrageous prices, or back box nonsense but so far Carrot has been a GOOD insurer. They were the cheapest, but their service is still good. The best way to contact them is through Facebook messenger. Emailing takes a couple of days but through Facebook, they respond promptly. The black box is installed by a professional at your chosen location, which is great. Like my previous policy, the black box is an annoyance, but as long as you drive properly you won't notice you have it. I see a lot of comments on here about cancelled policies for speeding... it's their own fault for speeding on a monitored policy! The black box does penalise you for journeys longer than an hour, shorter than 10 minutes, long distance, early morning or after 11 PM. So good luck with that one... The App is good. you can easily monitor your journey scores, mileage allowance and it also has a lot of information about what to do in a crash, emergency numbers etc. A great feature. The User interface could do with a bit of modernisation though. The online dashboard is fantastic, really easy to use and informative. Carrot allows earning points for good driving and exchange those points for vouchers, which is brilliant. You do need to have a green score (+5) in order to earn points but as long as your not an idiot you'll get plenty. Overall, a good insurer, better than other providers. Ignore the boy racers in here venting their anger... I've seen lots on the road and it's their own fault.”

“App was not operating and causing issue with log in functionality. Which led to not recording the miles. This, no rewards. Neil who answered the call was really helpful. But unfortunately we had technical difficulties and he had to get the technician involved. So I will be waiting for their email. But overall Neil made it an easy experience.”

“BRILLANT, fitted my ibox within 30 minutes, was help with all my questions. Quick and low fees for a young driver which is a bonus being new to driving. Quick and easy to buy the insurance. Happy to help with any quires. They are good with rewards and supply a great service. Would recommend to other young drivers.”
