Original set up was easy and relatively quick. Also, I have found the app to be very helpful. However, there is never enough customer service people around to deal with the capacity of callers. For example, I have called 3 times and every time I have been on hold for longer than 15 minutes.

The cost for insurance is cheap so it's therefore it's brilliant for most people but the customer service isn't too high standard mainly the waiting time to get through to customer service. I once waited for about 25 mins so I just hang up.

Easy to check my scores online. Can't log on to the phone app though, despite ringing carrot, which is annoying.

No curfews, earn cash rewards. However usage score can be unfair (e.g frequent usage increases score which can be annoying)

Love the app, allows me to see my driving performance. Would definitely recommend to a friend! When I first started my policy as a new driver was confused how to set it all up but the person on the phone was brilliant so helpful and polite.

Decent insurance, reasonable price for new drivers, only bad thing? It doesnt tell you explanations on the app for what the meaning mean such as usage im not sure why that goes down sometimes

The box was installed quickly and efficiently. The staff members have been very friendly and helpful and I was satisfied with the quote considering how expensive other companies have been. I find the box to be useful as it has monitored my driving fairly thus far. So far my scores have been very good however, the usage goes down during certain hours that I drive which I find to be slightly annoying. Moreover, it encourages me to make sure my last journey was better that the last as the rewards are satisfying. I would use this company again!:)

First time insurance so wasnt sure what to expect, was simple enough to set up how being penalised for 'usage' when making more than 2 joirneys a day isnt great and im sure my score actually went down randomly the other day but i can live with that. Just wish they offered business cover as i cant claim any expenses when driving to client visits...

The staff I have been in contact with have been helpful and friendly. I was messed about a bit at the start regarding my black box as what they were saying wasn't clear. The black box has been wrong for me a couple of times. It said I had done a 10 hour journey (when I hadn't) so therefore gave me a -4.00 on usage.

Well the installer cancelled my appointment and didn't contact me, i had to call and reschedule myself. I finally got my black box fitted and received an email the following Tuesday to say my policy would be cancelled as I didn't have my black box fitted. I then spent 20mins on hold to customer services to be told not to worry they don't know why it was sent. The next day to my surprise I had a welcome email and thanking me for choosing Carrot.

Taxing my 18 year old daughters , who's just past her test car was very easy and quick. I'm not too happy about the black box and whether I will see any rewards or penalties. Also, they could have asked if my wife and myself would have liked to be add , as I'm now having to go back to them and make calls. But all in all , communication via email good and happy so far

Helpful staff, really happy with the app and keeping an eye on my score. Don't really understand the 'usage' part of it. Other than that I'm happy at the moment. Took out my policy about 3 weeks ago.
