“I have used this company for 3 years now and never really had an issues. Great customer service, team are very friendly and are quick to answer the phone.
Only thing I would say is keep an eye on the price when up for renewal as they always seam to charge me more rather than less which is annoying. Also when I changed my car to a smaller car with a smaller engine, they also charged me more rather than less!!”
“I crashed my car, diamond got it picked up n scrapped. They then sent me a cheque for £29.00 n told me thats what was left after they got my car recovered. Even though i ad an excess of £450.00.”
“When I phoned Diamond to put in a claim for a cracked windscreen the callas answered quickly but I had difficulty understanding some of what she was saying. They passed my details on to a local company and when they phoned on Sat morning said it would be Tuesday before they came out and I would receive a call first thing in morning to tell me when they would be. Did not get a call till 10:45 to say they would be there in 20 min. When they arrived there was a little very light rain so said they could not do it. And I would get a call to arrange another time. I had to end up phoning them and it is now Thursday before they will come. The guy told me the car was okay to drive even though it has a 10inch crack on the windscreen, if that is the case why is there all these adverts telling you to get hips and cracks fixed straight away as they could shatter. I think Diamond need to look into what 3rd parties they are using”
“I had to make a claim although dubious as to responsibility. I took liability but body repair said it was clear they had driven into me, so I was gutted. Anyhow Diamond Insurance kept me up to speed. One thing I'd not done before is have to speak to DVLA with the insurance company listening in to ensure I hadn't lied about having points etc on my licence. They said I needed to do that to get moneys owed. I'm not one to lie about these things so that was fine.”
