“Hastings Smart miles have helped me a lot in being a young new driver, a very appreciated discount was knocked off for my second year although there was some confusion about the payment as they had taken it a day early and so I hadn't amended the details, and I also received an email saying I hadn't renewed my insurance when it had clearly been renewed; although it did say my account was ?0.00 to pay so I didn't worry. Overall I think they are a good insurer and especially helpful for young drivers like me.”

“Its good but. I always rate really low on accelerations as i only have 5 gears so once i hit 50 mph it jusg revs anyway. But besides that i love it”

“Competent online application process followed up by pleasant customer services contact. Maybe we Brit's can learn a thing or two from our continental cousins who ignore postcode when setting premium; everyone pays the same rate irrespective of location.”

“Great service however, the guy reading the terms on the phone before you get through to anyone goes on too long. I always try avoiding calling because of this reason. Sad that you can't take you telematics box out with SmartMile's”

“I found Hastings to be an amazing insurance for 1st time drivers. I found that was able to developer my way of driving without being penalised. Although I did have some issues with the cording of my uses of braking but hey Not everything?s perfect”
