Sad they were the middle man and were quite unhelpful in providing assistance with dealing with an insurer who took over 3 weeks to assess my claim

Whilst they offer chap pricing and the service is pretty good, BEWARE of all their terms and conditions. I have just cancelled my policy (Feb 2016 which I have had since Oct 2015) due to selling my vehicle and was hit with a £136.59 cancellation FEE... That's a £50 cancellation fee, plus another £86.59 for TIME ON COVER!!!! I figured this is what the monthly direct debit is for anyway... It's a shame that motor insurance has become such a problem nowadays and is not a credit service.. Shame Either way a quick moan and they waived the £50 cancellation fee, so semi-happy resolution, but just be careful...

When I informed them of a accident they collected my car the next day which I was told later it shouldn't have been taken that soon.then I was told I couldn't have a courtesy car cause I don't have a credit or debit card. Ended up allowing the other drivers insurance admiral to get my car sorted as he was the one at fault and admiral have bent over backwards to get everything resolved well done admiral.shame on you kwik fit

This car insurance policy was easy to start but if you have to change car during that year be prepared for an £89 fine for changing your details. This used to cost anything between £5 and £20 so I was horrified when they told me I had to pay this enormous amount. For this reason alone I will not be renewing my policy with kwikfit. Also they think Burgess Hill in West Sussex is in Redhill.....again rather worrying.

I think that the way I was treated by, Kwik fit insurance when I became unemployed, was absolutely discussing. I telephoned everyone, that I payout money to, asking for possible reduction in payment and came to some kind of affordable amount with them all. All that is except, Kwik fit insurance. This company, to the amazement of everybody I have told and not just myself. This company tried to increase my monthly payments from, FORTY something per month to, SEVENTY something per month. When I asked how they worked that out, they told me it was because I would now be using my car more to drive around looking for employment. I don't know which year they're living in, but it doesn't work that way anymore and hasn't done for a long time. Nowadays employment is found online, if a firm have a vacancy, you apply for it by, E-mailing your CV. Gone are the days when you go around to firms asking if there are any vacancys and if not can you leave a copy of your CV. Even if things hadn't changed, my car is a 2.0ltr and drinks petrol for fun, so unless I'm able to find a petrol station that gives it for free, then no my car will not be on the road more. Thanks to Kwik fit insurance, I have had to take my car off the road and I now have to travel everywhere on public transport. THANK-YOU VERY MUCH KWIK FIT INSURANCES. I will never take out any insurance with you again nor will I recomend your company to anyone else.

My issues started when I changed address and the premium instantly doubled. I found another provider who gave me an equivalent policy for the price I originally paid. I did have to pay back some admin charges though, totally around £80 to get out of the policy. Overall, unsatisfied. If I was not able to find another policy with a different insurer for the same price I was paying I wouldn't mind but there were several offering the equivalent before the price hike so I don't see why the premium should have doubled. I've not had any issues whatsoever with the new provider, goodbye KwikFit.
