Vile company, all they ever seem to do is lie to you, never pick up the phone but the only thing they successfully do is take your money!!

Would like to give them a minus, emailed multiple times for my ncb proof but no response, phoned but still no response, wasted my time on hold many times and now risk losing my new policy!

I am absolutely disappointed, emailed time and again for ncb proof, but still have not sent it, phoned more than once but still have not sent, now I risk having my new policy cancelled and losing my money!

Absolute nightmare trying to contact on a Saturday where opening hours are supposed to be 9am to 4pm - just ridiculous ! No answer, no updates, no queue system - it's totally unacceptable to be on hold for over 1 hour listening to awful loop music

Would give them minus stars if i was able to. Absolutely worlds worst customer service. No one answers phones, night mare to get hold of. When you actually get through they hang up. Worlds worst insurance. Charged me for not supplying docs in time even though i already had supplied them. Awful service, awful company, awful website, awful insurer. DO NOT BOTHER

I’ve been on hold for an hour! All I wanted to do was swap a car over! Being a carer I need my car and my car broke down the other day and I have bought a new one and I’m trying to swap the insurance over and no one can seem to pick up the phone! Very angry

I bought the insurance yesterday through a comparison website but rather than confirming the insurance, am email was sent to me that your insurance is not valid until you call us. I tried calling for 3 hours and could not get in touch with anyone. Finally I have spent three to four hours today to get in touch with someone and requested a cancellation of my policy. They have agreed but told me that the refund will take 30 days. Why?? I don't understand. Stay away!

Gone right downhill this company! Needed to cancel a policy due to car breakdown and not replacing it. Trying to get through to a human being was the first nightmare. Then, after only using 3 months of year long policy, only got a quarter of payment back! Rediculous! £350+ in cancellation fees, unbelievable!

Absolutely infuriated! Had 3 days on their insurance. Within the first 2 days I was told to get in contact with them through the phone to activate my policy otherwise it could be cancelled or cost me more, but I couldn’t get hold of them for two days - so they have awful waiting times on the phone. Then after looking at these reviews I decided to cancel with them (I should have looked at the reviews before) but after a lengthy wait on the phone they have charged me £86 for the 3 days I have been with their insurance so I do not get a full refund despite me cancelling within 14 days. Then I have been told that I could be waiting up to 30 days for a refund (which the other reviews have said it does take them the whole 30 days). So not only do they take your money instantly from when you first apply for the policy, they then take a whole month to refund it to you, without a full refund! I would highly recommend that you don’t get Ladybird insurance but if you have any reason to cancel, do it sooner rather than later!

Terrible service! Tried to get in contact for a change of vehicle, I had no response was on the phone for over 40 minutes! I was due to pick up the car within the next day or two so I had to get another policy sorted I emailed to cancel my policy with them and explained why ect... I then had a email saying I defaulted on my DD and to call them (another 15 minutes on hold) and they said they wouldn't backdate cancellation because I had to call to cancel the policy (I tried) and then carried on charging me 10% commission and £75 cancellation fee!! I now owe the Direct Debit company £150 for a policy that isnt in force anymore Terrible company with even worse customer service, stay away

Customer service skills less then 1 star. Call response time more then one hour waiting time. Common sense at a minimum. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you get desperate. There are hundreds of insurer's so try and avoid the disappointment of lady bird.

Very confused - entered all details into comparison site - received a good quote but when went to ladybird site and rechecked details to check correct many details needed to be altered and the quote doubled in price- scary ?

I signed up to ladybird insurance and completed all the required information and paid for a full years cover. Someone from the company then rang me to say that due to my age ( 20) I had to pay some further money to be insured by them. I asked to cancel my account and was told it would take up to a month to get a refund ( It did take a full month) leaving me short of money to pay my new insurer a full year at once. Really disappointing experience and would not try with this company again.

Phoned to get a quote on business insurance to add to my current policy and the man I spoke to was extremely rude. I understand that times are tough at the moment but the customer service was extremely poor. Honestly, someone who is friendly on the phone really makes a massive difference. I get anxiety having to phone people and this experience has made it a whole lot worse

If I could give this company 0 stars I would in a heart beat. I had an insurance with this horrific company and was constantly being bombarded with threatening letters over not giving them information I had already provided. Then they decided to cancel my policy out of no where and charge me 160 pounds for the honour. Had I done anything wrong, no I hadn't. Their issues was, last year, on a policy with another company I had done 17,000 miles, I am a commuter student, and do over a 60 miles round trip each day so I was covered for it. However, this year I bought a 2nd car, insured with a different company to use solely for commuting, so therefore I only insured by self for 10,000 which was more than enough. However, because last year, when I only had 1 vehicle, I did more miles, they have cancelled this years policy, despite me informing them, when I got the policy, that I own more than 1 vehicle. And all of this is the middle of the coronovirus pandemic when people are already struggling. This is ridiculous, and I would strongly discourage anyone for getting insurance with this company.
