AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! £160 to cancel within 14 days cooling off period!!! Hassled constantly!! Unprofessional. Con. Asked for lots of evidence AFTER paying!! Asked for no claim discount proof from previous insurer and sent it and then they still wanted phone confirmation, so what was the point of sending it at all? Not in addition to being continuously hassled with over 5 phone calls from them one morning, (24th January), 3 emails and texts!!!! I would send documentations after recieving threatening emails at night that stated they would cancel my car insurance if I didn’t send it before 14 days. I would ring up customer services to ask why, I am recieving these emails, and all they would do is request more and more documentation. They asked for a bank statement with proof of address, driving licence check codes of me and my mother, V5 and to top it off a no claims discount email from my previous insurers.

Don't bother with this company. They are on Confused.com... you filling all the forms to get a quote and then you have to phone them do it again to be told at a very end that cars with categories are not insured. I've been asked about that at a very beginning of conversation but they still getting all the other irrelevant info for what reason if they not planning to find you a policy. Prices on Confused are false as well! I've been told that's how they do business... Would never recommend

Rang to renew my car insurance yesterday, less than a month before it expires. Having just moved house and spending a fortune doing so as a first time buyer, Ladybird charge me £65 to change my address. Needless to say I won’t be renewing with them.

BE AWARE! Bought insurance £760. ( 2 year no claims ) Did not tell them about a non fault claim ( as I did not claim, still got 2 years no claims ) Put price up £300 more in the first 5 days insurance. Won’t let me cancel until I pay £147 cancel fee. Big Con! Won’t let you speak to a manager either. Worse insurance ever had! Buy cheap buy twice !

Rang to changed address from a high crime area to low crime area, The man I spoke to has told me the policy will go up not down and that I have to pay £95 admin fee to change address. I am beyond angry to top off no manager available to speak to and I have to call back Monday. Avoid absolute con

Honestly the worst customer experience I have ever had with this company. Completely incompetent and shocking customer services. Unable to answer any questions that I had regarding my policy. Did not include commuting on my policy documents. Unclear regarding the documents required. Price offered was >30% more than advertised price. AVOID!

Extremely advise not to use ladybird insurance. 1, Hidden broker fee £30 2, Option to say how long you have had licence in years but then they charge you cause the month is out @£145 fee. 3, They say no excess but when my policy was explained it was £500. 4, Policy come through with NCD not protected when I always select, called ladybird up and they said sorry sir we made a mistake! Tryed it on again! 5, to cancel policy in first 14days is £55 (or £75 after 14 days) and on top of that they said cover was £70 for 4 days insurance so bascily they have you over a barrel to leave! DONT USE THIS COMPANY I will never again!
