Customers service horrible !!!! I prefer paying extra £20 a month then dealing with them. Plus they ask me £15 to approve my 2yrs no claim discount, and only after arguing for mins they decided to do it for free. Daylight robbery

I have been insured with many insurance companies in the past. This is the worst company I have ever seen. They tortured me like anything. All they need is money from you. So please stay away from these people. My bad luck I have to stick with them for an year. Never going to Renew.

The worst customer service - promised a phone call back at 5.30pm and I get called back at 7:15pm. There was a discrepancy which the adviser had more than 6 hours to try and resolve, and when I finally get my call back it still hadn't been sorted. What is the point of getting a quote online and paying online for my insurance, when I have to go through all the same information on the phone? This took my whole lunch hour, and then fifteen minutes on the evening. Had no choice but to continue with this insurance company but I will not be renewing next year.

The bloke I spoke to was nice enough BUT the amount of time it took to go through the process of getting the policy was ridiculous ! It must of been nearly an hour, which was outrageous. Also I was constantly being put on hold, I’m seriously considering cancelling the policy as your customer service is pretty shocking.

Had the worst experience with Ladybird Insurance. They outright refused acceptance of my no claims policy on numerous occasions with my previous insurer AFTER I'd paid their deposit and have now charged a whopping cancellation fee for leaving them because of the way they operate.

Terrible company. Cancelled my daughters insurance because she make a very small genuine mistake. Charged her £75 plus 10% of the policy and at first said they couldn’t refund for 30 days. Don’t they know that if you Bacs money it goes straight away. There customers complaints adviser Becky rang me the following day and was very very unhelpful. Basically told me tuff luck. We went to Admiral insurance and got a much better deal. Wish we done that in the first place. Terrible terrible company

Went online to find a car insurance quote, came across ladybird though fresher they took £166 deposit straight away i sent all the right documentation, within a week was contacted to say my insurance was going to be cancelled due to a car accident I had two years ago, there was no option for me to notify them but they did the checks and found it out which is very enough but they quite happily took my deposit before the 14 days

Generally had no problems with this insurer whilst using them for two years (although initial paperwork was not clear and understandable both when I took out initial policy and then renewed for second year) - however when it came to not renewing for a third year, endless hassle! Sold my vehicle with a week left on the policy and was charged an extortionate £75 to cancel my policy. Also wanted £60 to renew my policy with them this year all for their pleasure of keeping my business. Most irritatingly, I’d sold my vehicle and then received further instruction from the third party credit company who I paid monthly with advising they were renewing my direct debit for another years schedule because I’d renewed my policy with Ladybird - when I’d cancelled two days earlier and gave no instruction whatsoever to renew the policy! Rang Ladybird who explained that they had not renewed and everything was cancelled as instructed but they could ‘only assume’ they’d sent the instruction to renew the direct debit following my initial first quote back in January - how presumptuous! This company are really not worth the hassle they’d caused - much better insurers out there who value your custom.

Terrible Company---After going on the internet and filling out all forms,we were given a quote Then when ringing them the quote escalated. As we had already paid the deposit we asked to cancel policy. turns out they charge £55 for cancellation even though it was only approx. 30 mins.difference between internet and phone call. Would definitely not recommend this company in fact I would advise people to be very wary

Absolutely terrible car insurance company! I think these are the worst i’ve ever come across so far. Took out a policy with them, paid a large deposit and they cancelled the policy as they said they couldn’t contact me. I had received no correspondence from them! Then they told me to my antoniawnt that I am not entitled to a refund in the money I paid them! I have took this to the Ombudsmen as this cannot be legal! Ideally do think this company is a scam! Better to go with a more well known company and pay slightly more. But at least have the peace of mind that you are insured.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. nothing but hassle they had me down for an accident where I was at fault which I was not that took me 2 months to fight to get that right. they now have taken 0ver £60,00 more then they should of done for monthly payments tell me it will go down next month, I ask why they cant reimburse me the overpayment they took and there answer was because it was pending how is that my fault I asked they cant tell me. so I ask to cancel my policy with them because I have had nothing but grief they then want to charge me for cancelling what when you have already overcharged on my payments I don't think so
