“Someone, who I know, received a M&S £40 bouquet and vase via the post. I felt so sorry for her, when I saw them, as the flowers were in a dreadful state - the roses were all ‘bruised’ and the tips of the foliage were brown and looked diseased.😡 As a result, If I ever wanted to send a bouquet to someone I would NEVER use M&S. !!!! 😡”

“Delivered to wrong address. Spent a long time on the phone trying to sort it out. finally M&S resent but the courier company's track shipment doesnt work and you can not contact the courier company to give instructions so it doesn't happen again. The whole purpose of sending flowers was for them to arrive on the day they were needed. it loses its grace when you have to check to see if they arrived adn then they didnt. the older lady who received them had to march up and down her street to find them. Finally found - dead - on a distant neighbours porch. DREADFUL SERVICE”

“It was the anniversary of my dad’s death today. Mum received these dead flowers from his friend. So upsetting and customer service would not resolve the issue unless we called him. Even with evidence. Don’t order from here!”

“The thinking of you white flowers at £40 including a vase were half dead when they reach our son’s house there were for my Daughter in law who had just lost her Mum They arrived Sunday 3 roses were broken in half the rest of the flowers were wilting My son complained and they sent more on Tuesday they were NOT fresh and 2 roses bent over in the vase and the rest were brown at the edges. Terrible M and S”

“Following my illness , friends sent me Marks & Spencer’s flowers by post , flowers arrived wilting , hoping water & plant food would revive them , but it didn’t , they were thrown away 2 days after , the 2 roses were dead & never opened. On complaining, & sending photo , I was told my complaint would be noted ! I have not heard back from customers services”

“Came into the M and S Branch on Saturday and also a few months ago (the branch) on Aintree Retail Park in ,Liverpool and l was very impressed with what was in store and ended up buying quite a few items. My cousin also bought a few months ago a beautiful ivory stretch lace A line dress that she wore for a wedding got lots of compliments on it. The Assi stant that served me on saturday her name was Jenny very friendly and helpful. I'm really impressed with the selection in store very fashionable and modern and l think that m and s have really upted there game over the last few years and would highly recommend shopping there.”

“70th birthday this week. Received 3 different flower deliveries from couriers dpd. Each delivery had been in van 6hrs plus in hot weather. Flowers only survived for a few days before going in the bin. Don’t send family and friends flowers from them. Marks obviously prefers saving money than satisfying customers.”

“Very sad bunch of roses. After 43 years of marriage for my husband to order a bouquet of roses pleased me greatly. That was until they arrived. Put on the doorstep, rand the bell then left. Box was bashed. Then i opened them. Tried not to look disappointed in front of my hubby. For £25.00 very disappointed. There were maybe 4 to 6 more roses in the bunch than i buy from tesco for 6.00. I didn't want to tell him he wasted money but i had to. Being a M&S shopper I'm disappointed they do this. When i read some reviews I'm sad they don't pay more attention.”

“Order reference: 301-0065229-4378097 Delivered 24 June 2026 ordered pink mixed roses for my wife....6 of the 22 stems were turning brown!!!! Flowers did not look fresh!!!”

“My mother had a delivery for her birthday on Sunday. On checking the flowers with the description, there were 3 stems short of the 15 stems. I rang M & S and spoke to a lady who wouldn't deal with me, would only speak to my mum and at 86 years, I tried to explain to the advisor that was why I was ringing to assist my mum! Didn't get anywhere, still would not deal with me....check your deliveries as 20% of the flowers missing.”

“Did some shopping and they overcharge me £10 when I go home I call them. It was very difficult to get hold of to speak to somebody and it took almost more than three weeks. I am after my refund and the customer care is very bad”

“I ordered the flowers as a 60th surprise the surprise was that they arrived wilted we followed the instructions and waited for the magic to happen and waited and waited after 4 days we had to throw most of the roses away some of the others showed no sign of opening my disappointment was huge I expected more from M&S”

“Terrible appalling service. Again. Paid for next day delivery. Waited in all day. Supposed to be here between 1730-1830. No signe of it. Tracking says couldn’t deliver today. No one came. It’s just not true. This is the second time this has happened. No apology. Just will try to see if it can come tomorrow. Totally and utterly unacceptable.”

“The flowers i received were full of bent and squashed leaves. The majority of the flowers are not in bud but fully open (and several squashed)- so disappointed, a bunch of carnations i bought from the co op almost a week ago look healthier and i paid just £3.50 for them rather than £28 from the ones delivered today”

“Flowers delivered (Stocks) were in poor limp, flat condition. Flowers were replaced - next lot were worse, no flower food, leaves were poor. Replacement was better condition but not the flowers ordered, they had obviously been packed a while as stems were dry. Expected better from M&S. Shame as were gift. Photos would not load.”

“The yellow rose and scented freesia bouquet was very poor quality. The alstroemeria never opened,the stocks were floppy, one rose was broken as was one of the freesias. The flowers were not fresh and never recovered from the bashing they clearly got. My daughter had requested a message card but this was not included. Packaging is clearly lacking. Quality is not reflected in the price. Allegedly next day but clearly packaged long before as the stems were dry. Beyond disappointing. I was unable to upload photos.”
