“Very easy and fast online.”

“It was time to renew my annual bike insurance. I called in plenty of time to achieve this goal and expected after full payment, to receive accurate documents by email. When they arrived the dates and personal information was completely wrong. I attempted to contact and explain the situation, however after 20/30 minutes holding the line on a premium number, I had to give up. Later the same day I tried again and spoke to an advisor, as yet again no calls were being answered by customer services. It's important to say there was no one in the queue, so I should have been answered straight away. I explained once again that the information in my renewal was not correct, this included my address and dates of cover. I asked to speak with a manager, but was informed I would receive a call the following morning. Next day I received a further set of emailed documents. These were a repeat of the first with exactly the same errors and I have still not received the promised call. As yet I have not received a good service and am still waiting for correct documents. I then received an email asking to review the service, not good timing for MCE. I have been a customer of the company for a number of years and until now I have always been happy. So MCE let's get back to that happy status.”

“I have just insured my Honda Silverwing with MCE, very easy company to deal with, best price I could find. They contacted me within a day to ask if my details were correct, I am so pleased that they did, it turned out that, after asking me questions, I was due a £27 refund! That amount was paid back to me within 2 days. The company personnel were very helpful and polite. Early days of course but so far, I am very pleased I insured my bike with them.”

“Cheapest insurance company however the quote went up from the comparison website and then during call the quote rose again because the operator read it incorrectly, after being on hold for 20 mins. However very friendly when I got through.”

“Been with mce for last 7yrs always had a reasonable quote had to use the breakdown cover this year with having 2 flat tyres at same time they got me sorted can't complain no issues so far”

“Price is very good, but excess £950 very high with no choice. Currently awaiting final payout for No Blame accident, told 4 weeks, in third now. Claim process very daunting you only find out when you have to use it. They appeared very sympathetic but once passed onto their solicitors Fletchers kept changing the person i was dealing with.”

“Had a renewal through for £255 so was happy as was £570 The previous year on calling found this was for third party fire and theft not fully comp which I had before so it’s not a renewal! Rang through to get a cocky arrogant man got it to£460 then while he was working I went on a compare site and got £370 then he said I can do it for £360 so save you £10 so I said cancel the policy and send me my no claims to which he started laughing and said I’m saving you £10. I replied if you had done that in the first place”

“Much easier than other companies I have tried and £700 cheaper than Lexham!! Everything appears to be covered (including roadside breakdown & a replacement bike). Arranged deposit and on-going payments on 2 different accounts with no trouble at all. Overall, very happy.”
