“Over phone quote for a 2 bike policy was £150 more expensive than insuring bikes separately, same company, same policy, including Yamaha XVS 1300 with no no claims and hayabusa with full no claims. how is this possible. Was charged £45 pounds last year for change of garage address. It was to a better area and much more secure garage. Should of been £15. MCE didn't even reply to an E-Mail asking why. Why didn't I move?, laziness. Didn't want to go through the who;e details thing again. Will next year.”

“Quoted better than my last insurer, with all the extra items (Legal, clothing, helmet, breakdown, etc) included. Did on line quote then rang through to confirm, then paid to get insured. Very painless.”

“I’m 52 years young & have been 10 years away from biking, quotes for insurance ranged from £2200 to MCE with £365 for fully comp on a Z1000sx with Breakdown cover. Best deal on the market by far. Thank you MCE you put the smile back on my face.”

“The Insurance part of MCE is very good....price and extras....but beware talking to them on the phone cost me over £12....once i had been kept hanging on while they went off and checked "things"......Felt ripped off.”

“Following a breakdown and after renewing my cover for the third year found that I couldn’t use the cover for the first 10 days. Cost me £133 to have the call out so after numerous emails, telephone calls I have been told I will get a refund but can’t be told how much, when etc... lesson learned get your own breakdown cover as if I had known being loyal means nothing wouldn't of bothered and certainly wouldn’t be out of pocket! Hiding behind terms and conditions isn’t a great service especially promoting customer loyalty. Next year I will be certainly looking at different options with other insurance providers.”

“Good efficient service. Originally got a quote from a comparison site and then phoned up to confirm details. The customer service guy was great and the price was competitive. I guess the real proof is when it comes to claiming but hope I don't have to test that!”

“Happy but a bit annoyed about asking my work contract. I have done all my declarations, what kind of job I am doing, on what purpose I am going to use it for. I think that should be enough. Extra time and energy for the customers.”

“Brilliant, I’d been insured with MCE previously and had a non fault accident, they dealt with it promptly and efficiently, I’ve been away from bikes for just over a year or so but I’m now back in the saddle, my new MCE quote was excellent and the sign up process hassle free, great to be back with MCE”
