“Did exactly what they say at a fair price throwing in for free no claims protection when asking if they could do anything on the renewal price...to be fair the renewal price had only increased £11 on the previous year and was very favourable when comparing with other companies for the same cover and benefits. Not had to make a claim yet & fingers crossed won’t have to... so can’t comment on that side of things...”

“Used comparison site. My old insurer wanted £122 to change my bike for the remaining 6 months of my policy, even though bike much smaller! So I bought a year with MCE for £162. No brainer. Never use that high profile firm again.”

“During COVID year. With all the restrictions on all travel. They still bumped my up premium by 15%..... First call. Polite young lady told me take it or leave it basically. Second call (my fault for not doing my usual price comparison in advance). Best they could do was "increase" my mileage allowance (while travel I still restricted) and added pillion....which I definitely did not want. Oh! Renewing does not mean your policy terms and conditions seamless carry over. You are still on probationary period of 10 days BEFORE your full coverage is in place. I had to get him to confirm this with me.......did not believe it the first time That is a first for me. And the last with MCE unfortunately. Loyalty goes out the window when you feel let down. I will not make the same mistake on next renewal.”

“Changed my current MCE policy Triumph T100 to a Triumph T120 My insurance is due for renewal on 31st May 2021, so 41 days cover required and I've been charged £65. I'm 60 and I've been with MCE for a while, never claimed. Won't be renewing at the end of May”

“what a bunch of Dickheads con artists, they charged me for a mistake that they made ! pay a higher premium and for the better company because you will end up paying more with these dickheads in the long run anyways and the customer service is shoddy requested a call back they said 72 hours they never called me back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

“Appalling service, got my policy wrong and want to charge me extra to correct it even though they have a recorded phone call where they were informed of the correct details when the policy was taken out, they've even admitted the correct details were given.”
