“Good price - not happy though with being called a few days later to persuade me to buy No Claims Bonus protection . If I wanted it I would have selected it at the point of purchase - yet another unwanted phonecall wasting my time”

“After renewing my policy I found a mistake in my policy and after a quick phone call to point this out it was rectified within five minutes. It would be nice to be able to renew my policy online instead of having to make a phone call every year.”

“despite being a loyal customer and having a strong no claims bonus, MCE took the first opportunity to hike my premium. sadly i had too little time to shop around this time round but i will definitely do so in the foreseeable future.”

“I have been trying to insure my new bike a Ducati Monster 1200s 2017 model for over 4 weeks but it is not listed on the choice of models the 2016 model I was quoted £235.comp give or take once I managed to call in and insure my new bike my insurance was quoted at£1800 +/_ saying I am 3 weeks out of the 3 year no claims so going from 5+ years no claims to 0 no claims so you can see why I feel very disappointed”

“Had no issues with MCE. Was a little bit annoying when I was renewing though. The guy on the phone give me a more expensive price than quoted on the internet, all my details were exactly the same. For the sake of £30 , he wouldnt reduce it to the online price and said they give "the best possible quote"... I waited about 4 days and did another quote, it was cheaper than both quotes received previously - so they could do you a better price but just wont.”

“Very helpful staff, easily arranged insurance at a great price including rescue, would have given them 5stars except they wouldn't provide me with a printed copy of insurance, we've all encountered computer errors, and I myself would like the paperwork to back up the e version in case there ever was a problem, come on MCE surely the tiny cost of providing paper copies would be more than covered by the extra customers you would attract,”

“When I rang to renew the girl I spoke to was probably the rudest person I have ever spoken to. She talked too quickly and when I asked her to slow down she ignored me completely. The last straw was when I asked for printed documents to be sent to me because my printer had packed up she said that it wasn't her problem and I'd have to sort my documents out myself. I was so annoyed I put the phone down on her and renewed through compare the market. Awful experience!!!”
