I am not someone to leave reviews but my experience with this company have been so bad, I need to warn others. Ive just read through other reviews and it seems many people have had the same issues. Firstly I had a policy with them for a few months, then 1 month they cancel as 'couldn't take my payment,' even though the money was in the account as it was every month. They sent emails to let me know but they went into my junk folder. I let this go as these things can happen. I set up another policy, which cost me more, and cost me more again as the first month you always pay extra. But I was fine with that, these things can happen. But..this time I was asked to validate the policy through their app. IT DOES NOT WORK. So I tried to call through various numbers, the only way you get through is if your buying a new policy, which they direct you to customer services and then you can wait ages again. Ive had around six 45 minute calls this week and still not got through. So I try to use their live chat, most of the time it doesn't work, and when it does, they tell you to call. When you call, you can't get through and constantly told to try the live chat for quicker access to help. I have even emailed in, still no help! So my second policy is due to be cancelled, yet I've done everything I can to contact them, so I've paid a large amount of money for 2 weeks insurance. Ive never ever had any issues with an insurance company, never wrote a bad review before but I am astounded by how poor the service is from MCE Insurance.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY Bought a policy and we have to download some stupid app to validate it Most of the time it doesn’t work And when you call them you wait for more than an hour to get through someone and gives An excuse saying it’s not the right department and puts me on hold for good couple of hours and ends up saying number not recognised.

I tried to contact them for 4 days, nobody answers the phone, responds the "live chat" or responds to emails. Avoid these clowns unless you have nothing better to do that listed to hold music

This maybe a waste of time but i have tried to contact you by phone for the last three days eight phone calls and a total of three hours on hold and i didn't get through to any department i tried .i am trying to cancel my policy as i have sold my bike.i am looking to buy another one in the next week but am now feeling reluctant to use this company in the future and nobody available to respond on live chat either

Terrible customer service, cannot get through to them through email or phone, after 50 minutes of sitting on hold they hung up on me, and Live chat can't help with most issues. Threaten to cancel my policy because their automated app cannot recognize a picture of my motorbike keys (???)

Terrible service. After suffering a no fault collision I was advised to split liability despite having an independent witness report to support my claim. MCE did very little to help me resolve my no fault claim. The third party accepted all liability at which point MCE refused to amend my premiums resulting from the loss of one years no claims bonus. MCE persistently worked against me in an effort to keep my premiums as high as possible, despite my not being at fault. I would strongly advise against using this company.

Hopeless, They make you download this app. App won’t accept my licence as it’s the old paper type, have tried several times to contact them by phone almost several hours of call and still no one has answered. They sent me mail saying they are going to cancel my insurance if I don’t send them copy of my license through the app. So they got my money in full and are now going to cancel insurance and take a percentage of my payment. Do not use these cowboys.

It was awful from beginning to end. I had to download their app, not a problem. However, the app did not accept some pictures and so sent by e-mail - e-mail ignored. Received e-mail waiting for 3 pictures, app still not happy. I sent e-mail, ignored. Received e-mail stating "only these 3 needed", retook pictures (told to do each 4 times and they would accept one of each) - did that. New e-mail received wanting different pictures. Eventually all sorted after I sent e-mail explaining I was going to write to their CEO and contact FSA.

They force you to download google app for policy. Customer service can take 1 hour to answer. They're useless DO NOT USE THEM.

Avarage price, although their app is very unclear on how to enter your driving licence infomation and it was asking me for photos of my garage although, I was specificly told that my shed does not class as a garage, after trying to call their customer service line, i was on hold for approx. an hour and never got through to anyone and still got charged £40 for the phone call. I then called another number and got through after an hour, but got left on hold for 10 mins after every question they asked me, just for them to say "yeah just put the photos of your shed, we can class is as a shed-garage"

Good price. Took about six hours to validate my driving licence. Phoned customers services and was on hold for 11/2 hours.

Have spent 2 days trying to get through and have spent over an hour on hold, got through eventually for agent to transfer me to different department which was further 25 mins on hold before I hung up. Still haven't been able to get any response through live chat, email and by phone.
