I had a quote for my Low riders S for about £100 fully comp, I added the custom extras and the price went to £194 and I paid it in full and received the documents straight away, I opened the policy only to find that all accessories and custom works were removed and any claim were for a standard bike, obviously this cost was fora bike at trade cost and not replacement cost. I canceled in 24 hours only to find 50% of my money stolen. No one rang me or emailed me, as no one couldn’t give a ####. Shocking treatment and to be honest it’s almost legal theft. Portal doesn’t work and they know it. I’ve left a review on a large platform and will now contact the ombudsman, as a motorcycle collector and professional business man I can’t believe this behaviour is allowed in 2023. Thieves to say the least.

Policy was mistakenly activated. Had a struggle to get a refund. This company has No phone numbers. Eventually it took a few days to get through to a human. On hold for about an hour three times after making contact. No full refund as the kept an admin fee despite them acknowledging they had my cancellation emails. Nightmare

You must use portal , portal doesn't work, insurance was £130,. Renew price £352 🤣🤣 no claims, on it, no thanks never again

My experience was that I had a policy that was due to renew in three weeks time. At the same time, I was changing my bike to a new one. To cut a very long and frustrating story short, I started a new policy after my old one expired. The reason, you were going to charge me £72 to change details for three weeks or £90 to cancel the three weeks left. I think this pricing is daylight robbery. I would not expect a refund for three weeks cancellation but I would not expect to pay £72 to cancel three weeks of policy. Not a good way to attract new business. On a good note, the new policy I took out was competitive but I have to wait for my new bike a further three weeks which made me change my plan ahead. I have a further week or so wait for my policy to start so I can get my new bike on the road. I did live chat but was told I would have to do it on line. I went around in a few circles on line to try and achieve my goal but had to give up to save my sanity.

I had an insurance for 10 days only and you charged me for all the months with no refund this is like stealing money from the customers

Not being able to speak to someone in person is a backwards move. Getting my reg wrong before the policy started and then having to pay £75 to change it is wrong. Cancelling a policy just after one month because it’s cheaper than changing a policy then only getting half the premium back is also wrong. Not happy at all with this

Seems to get worse every year , last year was done out of a years ncb,as the part of mce I was with went bust . So policy was cancelled with 6 months remaining .and got a fraction back . This year I can no longer take a pillion or ride another bike, as I could the previous year , even though no change on my part . So all in all time to look for an alternative

Not a company I will ever go to again. Even when you cancel before the policy starts and the day of the 30 day right to cancellation they charge a ridiculous amount. So glad I got out before the policy started.

The online portal is dreadful for making changes; the costs are extortionate and there is no-one that you can talk to about it. There is online and phone support to unlock the account which seems to happen to me a lot. I would never have gone with MCE if I’d known it would be like this. If you only have one bike/don’t need to make changes you’ll probably be okay. The support team that unlock the account are very helpful, but cannot talk about policy/costs/conditions etc.

MCE insurance my foot they are unregulated scam broker and nearly got me in so deep I couldn't get out. I was losing money faster than imaginable, but thankfully RESUC .ORG were able to come to my rescue I got my losses If you're reading this and considering opening an account with this firm, do yourself a favour and read the reviews first - I couldn't have imagined the consequences without reading. Resuc org I’m highly indebted for the success rate

DO NOT USE MCE. Bunch of money grabbing #####. Had a 12 month policy with them, canceled it at six months and they said I had no money being refunded. The amount to cancel was exactly the amount that was left on the account even though during the cancellation on the site stated that I wouldn't be charged for it. AVOID AT COST.

£3500 for a speed triple. Only took it out as they are the only company to offer me a quote cos obviously 23 year olds don't know how to ride a bike

The price was good, but I think that the customer experience is absolutely horrific. I only use these because the price is usually better than elsewhere. I had a running with these, earlier last year. My motorbike was involved in an incident at work. I didn't want to involve my motorbike insurance, because macams was dealing with it. None the less, MCE ended up getting involved, the way that I was treat was awful. As with all insurance companies! We do it because we have to. Not because we want to converse with them. Another year, another hike in price.

Could not renew online. Live Chat was useless. Took ages to renew on the phone. Almost gave up. Will be going with a different provider if not sorted by renewal time.

I renewed my policy and the money was taken, but no renewal, i phoned up and was made to pay again leaving me with hardly any money until the first payment is sent back, it has been 4 days and i still have no payment back
