Can't update policy over the phone. You make it so difficult to actually speak to someone. The policy will not open on line. Not good enough

Big price increase, with no explanation. Was not allowed to renew by phone, had to go on terrible web site. Although renewed still cannot access portal or documents. I can only pray the cover is better than the service!

I am useless on computers and trying to get into my portal was dreadful. In the end I telephoned three times, the first two people I spoke to said I had to do it on line and one even put the phone down. Eventually my partner rang and spoke to Lawrence who was very patient and talked her through getting onto my portal and I was able to complete my insurance. However, I think that there is not enough thought given to people such as me who cannot get on with technology and feel you should consider renewing by telephone. I have written to your Chief Executive Officer in the hopes that something can be done for people left behind.

Disclaimed policy no chance to get refund for almost a year. The reason for disclaim was "no longer able to offer Bike Insurance" So far they still offering it and still didn't fulfilled their obligations. Stay away from this company!

My policy with MCE was disclaimed because " they were no longer able to offer Bike insurance", what a nonsense. This company still offers motorbike insurance (and they still sending emails asking to insure motorbike with them) but has not fulfilled it's obligations. Payments of liabilities has been transferred to FSCS and I didn't get refund yet, almost one year now..

My policy with MCE was disclaimed because " they were no longer able to offer Bike insurance", what a nonsense. Absolutely appalling. I have been unable to register despite many attempts. The help chats achieved nothing and I have been unable to receive my policy certificate.

Could not register for portal tried several times customer services wouldn’t help asked for an email going to cancel my policy no confidence in getting help didn’t get insurance details

Can't speak to anyone about the hike in the price £114 up to £182 I had renewed it online and didn't realise how much it had gone up

I have been with MCE for 5 years without any claims or convistions. My renewal was due on 3rd jan. Tried to renew online over Christmas was unable to and rang first thing on the 3rd to be told that as it had expired at 12.59 on the 2nd jan I needed to obtain a new quote from their website. I did so and the new quote was 25% more than I was offered on the renewal quotation with no change in circumstances. I queried this and was told that it would be unfair to offer the same discounts to new clients as existing and there was nothing they could do about it !! Also told that if I wasn't happy I should obtain other quotes on line. Unfortunately I didn't look at any other quotes until I had swallowed MCE's price rise and lodged the insurance with them. I could have saved myself £90 on the £350 premium with MCE which also contained a huge excess in comparison. Very poor service / customer retention and will certainly be looking to switch next year.

I got my renewal through, and it was over 80% more than last years policy. And that is with no new claims or convictions, and another year's NCB. I contacted them to ask why it'd gone up, and got a very blunt response that I should shop around for a better deal. Very disappointed.

Disgusting service Two days already I do try renew my policy. Because of constant glitches In MCE sistem and delays with verification information I've late to renew my policy is lapsed. since yesterday I have spoke already with seven mce agent's (Glen, Mary, Nicole, Jobr, Jiba, Mel and Lenser) So they introduced themselves to me. Almost all of them advises were absolutely pointless. Only thing they do, asking your details during 5-minutes and then send you to them website to fill in questionnaire to get new quote what I've done 4 times already during last day. To the last agent Lenser I called five minutes before closing. After 10 minutes of inquiries he asked to stay on the line and hung up. Apparently, he decided it was time to go home. As I dealt with this company also in the past I would like to warn all others that several times I caught them agent's on obvious lies. So I advise you to write all names of agent's time of conversation and other details if you deal with them.

Very expensive insurance for a 62 year old male passed cbt driving experiance 42 years only 125cc rated electric scooter secured at night secured at work battery removed so scooter CANNOT be taken fare prices for the cover extremly high excess wont use again very upset customer.

Absolute joke of a company.. they went into administration cancelled my policy , thought I'd give them a chance , took out new policy .. then updated their own systems and threatened to charge me £30 if I didnt reply quick enough .. fast forward few months , I miss a payment as it's linked to your card not bank account. I phoned them up the same day . Made the payment and they charged me £30 . Phoned later in the day to change my address. The. They charged me £113 for changing one detail , the house number , Iv moved across my estate . No mangers , script read answers . Zero customer service . DO NOT BUY FROM MCE Date of experience: 01 October 2022

Months after paying for policy still have not received a copy of policy doc. Have called several times, each time told to check portal in a few days. Last time i chased i was assured a copy would be sent to my e-mail but never received it. I'm surprised i've been asked to review this.
