Havnt received any docs despite someone telling me they would be e mailed within the hour, least I think that's what he said couldn't really understand him! Can't access the portal, would cancel the policy but it will cost me a fortune!! Not impressed at all!!

Avoid at all cost. This company went bust & gives you the brush off. Don't part with your hard earned cash, shop elsewhere. Still waiting for my refund weeks & weeks on & you are expected to do all the running & chasing. Be warned. Wish I could give a minus 5 star rating.

Currently got a policy with this cowboy outfit. First payment is due on the 22nd last month tried taking the payment at 6am but wages don’t go in till 10am phoned them to try take the payment again but they wanted £30 adin fee for a payment that was being paid on the day it was due save urself a head ache and stay away the customer service is shocking never mind u need to speak another language to understand anything there saying. You have been warned

Phoned up to cancel my insurance today, Paid £226 last month for insurance, cancelled today a month later what I receive back £45!!! That's a 80% loss. Feel absolutely violated by the MCE Insurance Rip Off Company.

Poor customer service they cancelled my policy due to underwrighter going into administration, still no refund 6 weeks later, gave them the benefit of the doubt and took out a new policy with them, they didn't add pillion cover despite being asked to and now want me to pay £89 to rectify their mistake, if policy cancelled I will receive a refund of £14 on a policy I paid £190 for 5 weeks ago after their charges they also charge an admin fee of £72 for any changes which is extortion as often changes are a legal requirement, a bunch of crooks steer clear as it turns out most positive reviews are fake left by staff I will definitely never use them again

I would like the complaint to be continued and i would like to appeal your decision. The payment due date was the 26th Feb. So in layman's terms i have until at least the close of office hours to pay the instalment. Which i tried to do. So the payment would not be missed. Your terms say "the payment could be taken between 0600 and 0800 on the due day, but may on occasion be taken later that day" Ok so what your saying is, its ok for MCE to take the payment at any time on the due date when it suits them. But its not ok for the customer to pay at any time on the due date. And every other company who i have had dealings with. If the first payment is declined. They will then attempt to take the payment later on that day. Due to the fact some people may not get paid until noon etc. But MCE dont do that do they. You are happy to re apply for the payment on another day once the rip off £30 admin charge has been applied. So it proves you have the ability to re apply for the payment. In my opinion the whole thing stinks. Its not about the £30 rip off admin fee. Its about the fact its designed to rip off and catch out your customers. My wages were in my bank at 0900 that day. I offered to pay the monthly instalment on the due day. But MCE refused to accept the payment without adding the rip off £30 admin fee. I will make it my goal to leave as many reviews on as many review sites. Highlighting this SCAM MCE are running so that other potential customers are fully aware of the SCAM before they sign up with MCE It just highlights the poor customer service and shows that MCE see customers as cash cows to try and screw as much money as they can out of. At the end of the day the payment date was 26th Feb. I offered to pay the instalment on the 26th Feb. MCE would not take the payment unless i paid the rip off admin fee. Your terms in basic English say "its ok for MCE to decide what time they take the payment, but the customer has no choice" Like it or lump it the computer says NO as the old saying goes and screw the customer. Iam just grateful and pray to God i never ever have the misfortune to have to make a claim on my insurance. Because i didnt dot the "i" in my name Justin would probably invalidate the insurance.

Terrible trouble paying online and the chat bot person 'PJ' closed the chat when I challenged why they kept asking me questions I had already answered. It was very poor customer service.

Complete and utter s#•! show. Company runs into problems and customers left stressed, and out pocket until who knows when. Having just renewed I’ve had to pay twice for a policy within a couple of months, with no idea of when I’ll get my money back. And to rub salt in the wounds my policy has increased by 20% in two months. I’ll be actively searching for a new policy upon renewal time.

Terrible insurer, their under writers went bust so all their customers had to find insurance elsewhere, even though mce actually didn't go bust, it was mce who took my payments for both my policies, not their underwriters, but somehow they legally kept all payments and expect FSCS to refund 90% to their customers? How is 90% fair? It should be 100% seeing as MCE aren't actually bust, Mce should be made to legally refund everyone! Especially as they aren't actually bust, taking payments and keeping everything then making all customers pay again to get new policies.. DONT TRUST THIS INSURERER. I have lost one year no claims too now and also they have ignored all my requests to send me my current NCD certificates, I would of had 3 years NCD now but after almost 3 years according to their website I will only have 2 years. But I can't even get them as they are completely ignoring my emails and phone calls. DO NOT USE MCE!!!!!!

These people are a bunch of clowns! Just tell everyone there going bust but then offer you a new quote with a higher price! Don’t even bother thinking they will pay the additional extra for the new quote! Absolute idiots

MCE underwriters went bust and alot of people have lost alot of policy money, absolute disgrace of a company and they shouldnt be allowed to trade, they fleeced me for 6 moths policy paid up front, #scumbags AVOID AVOID AVOID

I had lots of emails saying my policy would be valid up until the expiry date. Don't worry your policy is not part of the Gibraltian company and the boom they cancelled my policy at the end of January. Never again

Don't. Get offered 30 percent of bike value that's even if they don't worm way out with terms conditions. Be warned bike is worthless insured with mce ! Check out Facebook page Bikers dislike mce

Hopeless customer service. Firstly why can't I renew my policy online but only by phone? So I had to spend an age on the phone trying to renew my policy going through all the rigmarole of answering questions that they already had the answers to. I could barely understand the person on the phone as they had such a strong accent. Only to be told at the end that I couldn't pay in full due to a system problem, WHAT? I could pay in installments though which had added costs of course. Strange how that works. I then ask if they can call me back when the system is working and I'll pay them which was agreed. No call came and next thing I get is an email saying my policy has lapsed and I have to get another quote to be insured. Unfortunately mce gave the lowest quote so I ended going with you again but you really need to shake up your service. And get rid of the overseas call centre.

I was on the live chat for 45 minutes. It was no help at all , then 30 mins in a queue on the phone . I hung up & done it on line so still unsure of what I got , but I'm insured at least .
