“Paid big deposit for fully comp insurence then when i was hit by unisurd driver whom never stopped at scean that was 2 years ago and still fighting my case very annoyed with mce”

“Waited over an hour to be connected after an accident, then they incorrectly stated they could not recover me as I lived over 20 miles away. I just dint want to leave bike at side of road so it could be striped or stolen...they just were not interested and left me to it. Later I found out they could have recovered me and the bike to a local repairer within 20 miles, then I had to get home.... that would have been acceptable. Now subject to a formal complaint. Also found out when adding another bike that if I chose my own repairer they will increase my excess by £300 and charge a £110 admin fee. plus load of other rip off terms in the small print. suggest you approach very careful and look at alternative.... 19/9 MCE have replied to this review and offered in look in to this...I suspect it just lip service,, so will be providing further updates as things progress. MCE Governace dept have said they will respond by mid Oct. watch this space”

“Ktm Duke 690 bikes in question! Quoted by MCE on multi bike policy with 9 years NCD £380 . Checked on line for two separate insurance policies with them on compare the market. Mv = £177 zero no claims bonus on this bike! Ktm=£158 9 years no claims on this bike total=£335 makes no sense to me! sold both bikes a month later so cancelled policy's on both bikes Ktm just over 1 month insurance return of £20 Mv Agusta under 1 month insurance return of £50 MCE charge a £62 fee on top of any losses for insurance used to cancel each policy. Other charges are change of bikes £40 charge. Change of address £17 charge BE WARNED MCE ARE JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY AND WILL GET IT ANYWAY THEY CAN AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID”
