“I'm a new customer and bought the policy on line. I set the start date I had chosen however on completion their compuser system added in a different date. It proved extremely difficult and frustrating to get this correctEd. Eventually it was however according to them, it was my fault. I posted my frustrations on a Facebook group and was disturbed to find that my experience was not unique. People had horror stories regarding the service level this company gives, their unwillingNess to pay out. Many of the responders had to escalate to the Insurance ombudsman to get their problem resolved. The overwhelming suggestion was to cancel the policy and use someone else. I have decided to let the policy run however I hope I never have to make a claim. This will be the first and last time I use MCE.”

“Had a good quote of £168 which i did purchase, but as say its easy to phone an get insured your having a laugh waited for nearly an hour on the sunday so hung up, called again on the monday to wait 40 minutes again to be connected to a sales person to buying the insurance”

“Called Mce, was connected unusualy quickly. Spoke to a helpful advisor about dormant no claims bonus useage and no claims proof. Renewed policy on a comparison site at a good price with promised document emailed the next day. Perfect. Thanks.”

“Got quote on compare.com, very happy with price so tried to insure two Bikes on line, came up with Error and told me to phone, after being passed from pillar to post and being on the phone for more than an hour I was just about to give up when I eventually got through to someone very helpful who explained what boxes to tick on their website, YEY I managed it. Big tip, if you need Help, DON’T PHONE.”

“Very difficult to speak to someone. I’m a new customer again after a lengthy painful process that should have been a no fuss renewal. I wanted to put 2 other bikes on too but that’s too much like hard work. Took 4 attempts to pay. On a positive not it seems good value for money.”
