“Good value. Although one problem with your website, it would not allow me to renew easily as it kept asking for additional drivers when there is only one driver and that's me.”

“Features of the policy are better than others for similar quotes.....Oddly I didn't get a 'renewal reminder' this time (I have insured with MCE again)....Only realised it was coming due thanks to MCN compare!....who sent me an e-mail reminder. MCE's quote wasn't the cheapest but was only £2 more but with a lower excess & helmet leathers cover. Thankfully I haven't called on MCE's services but when I have spoken on the phone to them they were friendly & efficient.”

“Problems on first approach which stalled due to being unable to give cost of ongoing insurance repair cost. On second approach, was told this was not an issue. This was debated, then told it was, in fact, an issue. My confidence diminishing... Expected certificate and policy documents to arrive by email within 48 hours : still not arrived 6 days later. I had to call at the weekend to confirm I was effectively insured, and waited almost 15 mins for customer service before being cut off! Called back on sales option and was answered in less than a minute. So, not a great experience to date, and still no policy documents!! Regards, Bob Stewart”

“Where did I say they made me happy? I didn't I said they were acceptable. Also the email said how was the customer service received today? I didn't receive any customer service today! My Insurance started today but that was sorted weeks ago. However you still phoned to ask about bike insurance after that.”

“They contacted me with my renewal as I had already had my bike insured with them, The new quote was twice as much as the year before so I decided to go online and do a compare quote on a price comparison site and strangely enough the best quote was mce and for exactly the same cover was now half the original quote, I feel they should do their best to give the best price to existing customers. I Phoned them up and all of a sudden once I told them what I had done they managed to drop the price by £120 Come on mce play fair you should offer the best to your existing customers not make them go hunting”

“your quote was to dear bennetts were cheaper than you . was going to go with them but coudnt be bothered to chase up my no claims entitlement so stayed with you. you need to sharpen up with your prices.”
