went on holiday to return to find out that Premium Insurance had cancelled my motor vehicle cover. The reason they had given is that they had been unable to charge me £135 to cover the cost of removing my wife from the insurance policy. Tried to speak to Customer Service only to greeted with "you are ......23rd in the queue"....After half an hour I gave up after only moving up to 19th....!!! What a complete shower - NEVER AGAIN

The worst insurance compan I have ever been with. AVOID. Please read these reviews before even attempting to use this company for insurance. My payments started at £120 per month and some how managed to slip up to £170 after missing information. I then needed to get a new car which was a lower spec than my current and it was going to cost £200 upfront for the change and £198 per month for 10 months. You will be waiting half Your life trying to speak to these people on the phone. PLEASE AVOID

I have been with premium choice for a couple of years and have had nothing but problems and endless hours of waiting on the phone. I recently bought a new car and needed insurance for both of my vehicles for a short period. I was quoted online via comparison sites about £800 but thought i would take the opportunity of a discount with premium choice as i already have a policy......£2576 is the price they came back to me with. needless to say i rejected and so i used Sheelas wheels. I have a far better insurance policy with them and paying almost half the price on an 2.0l T Audi A5 than i was on a 1.6 Astra with a much lower insurance group. I have also had hell changing over my personalized registration with a £25 charge and a good couple of hours on the phone and still showing as UN-insured . It took me all of three mins with Sheelas wheels and with no charge and was instant. my old car is now sold and being collected later this week. the £50 cancellation fee from premium choice will be the best £50 i ever spend. The customer service is a disgrace.

EVERYTHING WENT WRONG! I have experienced all the problems listed here by over 80% of their unhappy clients. Literally a month after taking out the insurance, they are still trying to extract extra payments for mistakes that had been made (some of these were made by them, not me too). They are the most unprofessional tin-pot company I have ever encountered in the 43 years I have purchased car insurance. The other reviews are all so true - they start off with a low price - looking like they are very reasonable and competitively priced - then just keep on adding on payments. They even cancelled my policy by letter while I was away on holiday, leaving me with a few hours to get it reinstated by paying them yet another payment they required for something they had equally made an error with! Had I been driving the car whilst on vacation, I would have been uninsured, without even knowing - and after paying the full annual amount up front. Really wish I had cancelled the policy now but when I tried (within the first 14 days 'cooling off' period) they wanted to charge a £50 fee. I questioned this, saying surely this was illegal - their response was that it was an 'admin fee', even though they hadn't even sent any letters or done anything to charge such a fee. AND - as for their so called new phone system - biggest joke ever! After 4 calls I made in one morning and being put on hold for each one for at least 20 minutes and being 15th in line to speak to anyone, they cut me off!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!

Avoid at all cost. If this post stops one person from insuring with these then I'm happy. Shocking service, auto renew for £3k from a £500 policy - no changes in the year. Cancelling the renewal even more farse

Do not use Premium Choice car insurance, avoid at all costs. I never had any direct contact with them until I received a letter stating that I did not declare a previous claim and therefore my monthly cost was increasing. I contacted them and explained that I have never had a claim, they proceeded to tell me that because I enquired with my previous insurer about something that they have put this down as a 'Claim-non-fault', I explained to them what happened and that I never made a claim against my insurance. They would not accept this and charged me more on top of my premium, they also added Administration Charges for adding the extra on my premium which was an extra cost. A couple of months later, I called them to ask about adding something to my policy. The first person I spoke to said that it was do able but I would need to speak to another department. Once passed to the other department the agent said that I could not make the change to this policy. They also stated that there was an additional payment needing to be paid. I asked what this was and they said it was because I did not disclose an 'incident' that happened. I explained to them that I have already sorted this out with them and they were supposed to add this to my monthly payment. They then told me that 'due to a transmission error' this was not added and needed paying now. I expressed that I would like to make a formal complaint as I was being penalized for an error on their part. I was transferred to a member of the complaints department who was extremely rude and did not listen to my explanation. She kept talking over me and was very patronizing. I have been in touch with them since regarding changing the details of my vehicle and their service was awful. After, being pushed pillar to post I ended up cancelling my insurance with them and taking out a better policy for half the price with a reputable company! Do not let them take your money!

Maybe cheaper on comparison websites - but after a few months they claim lots information was missing. They then charge extra premium if required, but always charge their admin fee regardless. If you try and cancel you will be charged one years commission plus cancellation charge. The commission is not mentioned on any paper worth, so very misleading.

Bought a car insurance policy from Premier Choice on 08.08.17 at 8pm, I then cancelled the policy on 10.08.17 as my existing insurer had contacted to advise they could provide discount cheaper than this policy I had bought. I called Premium Choice on 10.08.17 at 10am to cancel the policy that I had arranged through them to start on the 12.08.17 at Midnight. I noticed that on the 09.08.17 Premium Choice had already collected my first month's premium. Upon calling today to cancel, I've been told that they charge £50 to cancel a policy and therefore I will receive a proportionate refund of £10! They've charged £50 admin fee to cancel a policy that hadn't even started - it was bought on the 8th to then come into force on the 12th. £50 admin cancellation fee for a policy that hasn't even started - shame they couldn't be as quick as sending me my policy documents as they were taking my money. ALL POLICIES HAVE A COOLING OFF PERIOD - THIS ONE IS 14 DAYS, YET, IF YOU'RE WITHIN THE COOLING OFF PERIOD, THEY'LL STILL CHARGE YOU. The reviews on the internet for this company read for themselves, i'm annoyed this company has profited at my expense/ mistake of ever considering them, but quite frankly, if this is how they treat customers now, what on earth must one expect when making a claim? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Worst insurer I have ever experienced! They will do anything to make you pay more! They may offer what you think is a great deal at first but then they will do such a background check to see what more money they can squeeze out of you from any reported incidents so not even just claims over 3 years ago that a policy holder (and again not even the driver at the time) may have had and therefore try charge you at a poorer rate than any other providers! So you're worse off. Strongly do not recommend! If I were to ever have a crash I know they would do anything in their power not to look after their customers and pay as little as they can!

Changed my vehicle, asked for a quote from premium choice to make life easier to switch around. £50 for the change of car then an extra £100 to insure a car that is cheaper insurance. Cancelled my policy for them to charge £150 anyway. Joke of a company.

NEVER EVER USE PREMIUM CHOICE. Awful customer service. Want to help you straight away if you're a potential new customer. But once you are a customer - they don't care at all!!! I actually want to add a named driver to my policy - so I WANT TO GIVE THEM MORE MONEY. But they don't give you the time of day. Will never EVER use them again. RUDE AND UNHELPFUL.

Received letter today stating my monthly payments were £87.44 not the agreed £65 I've called them to ask why. They told me I'd been driving for 3 years not 4. They have entered a mythical date that I passed my driving test. 15/6/13 never ever had I told them this date. They had my driving license record also to show when I passed. I'm thinking whoever at the insurance company entered my details made a mistake. Anyway long story short now that my policy is wrong. I have a black mark against my name and no other insurer will touch me for a reasonable policy price. This company is beyond shocking. I'm so cross at the moment . This is still an ongoing situation there call centre closes at 18:30 so need to call back tomorrow and then escalate this further. DO NOT BUY INSURENCE FROM THIS COMPANY

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Hands down the worst decision I have ever made. They are a virtual company - their customer service stops at the point they extract your money. In the event of a claim, expect to be passed to a series of independent companies responsible for fragmenting your claim and over-complicating the issue. The only thing the above companies have in common is incompetence. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

This company is the worst I've EVER been with for car insurance !! Their staff are rude and very unhelpful. They wanted that much information from me by post it was believable. Then when I had managed to jump through all the hoops they wanted I was then told they wanted £145 more as I hadn't told them about points on my license!!! I did it on a comparison site and know that the information was on there. Then I said I'd cancel they wanted £145 for that as well !!! ABSOLUTE SCAMMER COMPANY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!

They automatically renewed my policy (I had already taken out insurance with another company as I didn't realise that they were going to renew it automatically) When I tried to cancel on the day, I gave up as I was "16TH IN THE QUEUE". I managed to get through first thing the next day and I cancelled the policy - 6 hours later, I received a "thank you for renewing" and then a further email demanding £50 "adminstration fee" for cancelling the documents they hadn't produced when I called to cancel!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - PAY AN EXTRA FEW QUID AND GO WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! A complete scam, nor their sister company A choice insurance. I recently took out an insurance policy with A choice, they had cancelled my insurance policy because they claim that we hadn't verified a claim. The claim they refer to, did not exist but unknowingly we believed what we had been told at the time. An advisor then put us in contact with their sister company premium choice and we later took out and insurance policy with them instead. This company tried every trick in the book not provide us with comprehensive insurance company, claiming that we had not sent documentation in time when we had, claiming that we'd taken two policies out on-line at the same time, we had not, even lying and telling me they couldn't insure me because I had had an insurance policy cancelled in 2013! I have since sent emails asking for details for the ombudsman to complain through appropriate channels and have been ignored. I will be going to trading standards as they have taken two deposits, have not provided insurance and have now tarnished my good insurance history due to cancelling two policies. This now means my premium has increased as I have to now declare I have had insurance cancelled. Steer well clear, unless you'd be wanting high premiums in future.

My car got written off through no fault of my own, when it came to settling the balance, i was told i owed £80, although i could pay £40 to settle immediatly, which i did.. months later debt collectors are ringing asking for £120, no warning, no letters, nothing from Premium Choice. Thanks for that you arseholes! Give Prem choice a wide birth. Go with a proper company.
