“Reasonable home policy as a new customer but renewal was 28% higher despite no claims. Online only so unable to speak to anyone to tweak policy to see if any savings could be made. Will not match quotations elsewhere so I left.”

“Doing everything via online isn't always great, you do miss the flexibility of being able to ring and when you do you tend to have to wait a while. The solicitors you are given with the policy needs to change to a better company.”

“Dreadful experience. Having uploaded my proof of no claims I was surprised to receive an e-mail a few days later stating that my policy had been cancelled because I had not sent my no claims!!
I e-mailed, explaining exactly when I had uploaded the document and asked for an explanation. Nobody ever contacted me and I was charged an extortionate "admin fee" for the cancellation of the policy.
No phone number to ring so no opportunity to speak to an actual person.
Would not use them again.”
“I was a victim of theft where my car was vandalised. To the Insurance company's credit they prompt to collect the car, however, they provided very little information as to how a courtesy car will be provided. I ended up having to sourced this through their providers and the return of the courtesy car, with very little support and information from quotemehappy. I was gob-smacked to say the least.
I feel this part of your service is very poor and to add to the troubles, they fixed my door but they left part of the damage undone. To date I do not know why and the supposed work carried out on one door was not of good standard at all. I suppose I need to make a complaint to address this. However, it is my view that the Insurance company needs to get more involved with claims so one is not left feeling unsupported.”
“I noticed that they have not given me my maximum No Claims Bonus on the policy and have had repeated attempts to rectify it. I will not be renewing with them in future as I feel they may be doing this on purpose. A lot of customers reporting that that are having issues with lots of insurance companies who are not providing the NCB discount and making it hard to get a better deal with another insurer. I am shortly to renew in a few months from now and I will not be going with them again.”

“I saved around £400 or more moving to these guys last year however they have hiked my renewal up £200 even though they were a lot cheaper on Compare The Market?
They informed me by email that they do not negotiate or price match renewals with any other companies or even themselves if they are cheaper elsewhere which I found very odd so I have changed providers this year.
I would go back to this company in the future if they were the cheapest online again but just bear in mind they are one hit wonders not an insurer you will be with for a few years.”
“I previously had van insurance and switched to car insurance as I now drive a car. I sent my proof of no claims for my van insurance and was told this would be invalid for my car insurance, so I have lost my 5 years of no claims, and my insurance premium therefore increased.
It was not clear any where that I would loose my no claims due to that fact my previous insurance was for van insurance.
Ultimately I have not made any claims so surely I should be able to carry my no claims across to my current insurance?”
“I needed to change my name and address on my policy but there is no provision for this and as you are only on line there is no actual telephone operator to speak to so i was unable to do this simple task. I certainly will not be renewing my policy with you this year and will not be using another company where there is no human person to contact.”
