Very cheap quote, but all online, it took the "Team" 5 days to get back to me and didn't answer my question about the policy - but they did say they hoped I would stay safe!! I re asked the question and again got a nonsense answer, when I again re worded the question I got a response basically saying don't bother us again look on line. I wish now I had paid more for a better company, because I am quite sure the same service will apply If I make a claim.

I had to get a cracked windscreen replaced which was straight forward. Booked it all through quote me happy website. Great, autoglass came out and did a terrible job. But that's a different story for a different review. A year and a half later the windscreen cracked again for no apparent reason. Went back through insurance company (still with quote me happy) price had gone up from £75 to £115, ok well it needs to be done so booked up, again very straight forward. Using a different windscreen repair company this time, thank goodness. When they turned up and started the work they abandoned the job as they said autoglass had done such a bad job they didn^t want to touch the screen (clips had all been removed from side of screen so panels had been glued on and vin plate was cracked as well as other issues. We were advised to go back to autoglass as windscreen had no reason to crack and they said autoglass windscreen have a lifetime warrenty. This is when it all went wrong. We had a battle on our hands. We tried contacting the insurance company however they don't have any advisers who deal with windscreen complaints you just have to book the replacement through the website. Refused to deal with it. We said we cant book it through your website as the company you use have refused to fix it because the company you made us use the first time have damaged the car. Nope can't help. So we logged it through their website as a claim/complaint it's now 6 weeks later and we have had no response or acknowledgement of our complaint. Quote me happy are not interested at all that my car has a cracked screen and has not been driven or repaired and it's now 6 weeks where I have been unable to drive my car. So I have now renewed with a different insurer who was much cheaper than my £4 cheaper than the previous years renewal quote. It's funny how they could contact me by post, text and email for my renewal but still no contact about my complaint. I had been a loyal customer for 3 years. I will never use them again and would never reccomend. As soon as we had a problem they were not interested. Very disappointing.

I have had car insurance cover twice with QMH and I find their online process totally fine and adequate with a good website. I was under the impression the savings in policy prices was due to lower risk drivers and online service. However having been unfortunate enough to have to make a claim, I have now to my detriment realised their savings are generated by not actually providing comprehensive cover at the same level as their parent company Aviva which they conveniently do not mention in their policy documents. They DO NOT COVER CHILD CAR SEAT REPLACEMENT! ! ROSPA and all car seat manufacturers recommend no matter if the seats seem ok they should always be replaced. Aviva do cover this cost, but QMH do not. I was offered £150 towards personal belongings damage which given I had two car seats to replace doesn’t even touch the sides! QMH took over 4 weeks to repair my car and 5 weeks to reply to my complaint regarding the car seats costs. The complaint reply was a standard template later FROM AVIVA stating the QMH policy meets the legal definition of comprehensive cover but that AVIVA choose to go above and beyond this. I was even told by my claims handler that if my accident was someone else’s fault they would have claimed the full cost from the other party!!! So it is necessary to replace car seats when someone else is paying but not if it is them!! I will be following this up with the Financial Obudsman A’s nowhere in their policy documentation does it mention car seats and in the list of personal belongings is items such as phones and handbags. I believe this in being intentionally deceptive. BUYER BEWARE!

Terrible company, customer service is probably the worst I've ever dealt with. Don't be fooled by the lower premiums, it's not worth it; Avoid like the plague.

I was reassured that they would cover myself and husband and my son (when he turned 17yrs). He is now 17yrs and they will not cover him. No one to speak to....email only. I can cancel at a premuium of £50 for a mistake I did not make. Really poor. Car on drive that son cannot drive and I have to wait for 48hrs for a reply by email.

expensive for policy amendments, there's no way of speaking to a person and when declining renewal they keep sending 'renewal reminders' by email ans sms text, plus second year premiums went up through the roof.

This has got to be the worst Company in the world to deal with. I have been with them for two years now and will not be renewing in future. The first time the renewal came up I got a quote from a Comparison Website which gave a quote £30 cheaper than their renewal quote from themselves. They told me they could not honour the cheaper quote and renew through the Comparison Website - which I did. This years renewal has been a disaster. I received an email requesting me to update my financial details for the auto renewal. I emailed saying I would not do this until I received a renewal quote. A week later I received a renewal quote of £247, so updated my details and the renewal price "jumped" to £280. Needless to say I queried this and they said they would investigate. Four days later they said they would honour the £247 quote but would take £280 from my account and credit the same account with £33. I made sure I got written confirmation of this but on the renewal date a "sixth sense" told me something would not go right. Sure enough it went wrong and they attempted to take the money from my old financial details. What Plonkers!!! I contacted my bank and found because of their actions the payment had been declined. Whilst the bank hung on the phone and I paid the £280 into my "Quotemehappy" account and the bank confirmed the payment within 10 seconds. I queried all this with the company by email - No apology - No sorry our fault just a reply to say they would repay the £33 when possible. How long will I have to wait???? Needless to say I will NOT be renewing next year. They are awful to deal with. Only contact is by email and they take at least 48 hours to reply, not much use if you have an accident. If I hadn't had my "sixth sense" moment would would have happened if I had had an accident in the few hours before I secured payment. I think I know. Their plea would have been "NOT INSURED - NO RENEWAL PAYMENT" Wash their hands of the matter.

Offer cheaper cover but then charge a high fee when you cancel the policy due to selling the vehicle. Would not recommend

I chose this company based on price alone, not realising that they are part of Aviva, whom I have had problems with in the past. I had a claim earlier this year and the repairer they chose was dreadful. I had to visit the repairer to collect something I had left in my car and discovered that they had left my car with its boot wide open in their yard overnight. Thankfully it had not rained or my car's boot interior would have been ruined. They had also left the interior of the car filthy with dust and dirt and had clearly not used any form of seat protector or paper floor mats. When I complained I was promised that they would deliver it back in a spotless condition. Not surprisingly when it came back it was still dirty and even had a dirty handprint on one of the seats! There was also some minor damage they had caused which then had to be fixed by a second repairer. Overall I would strongly recommend avoiding this insurer.

when I renewed my car insurance in April I bought online then it was really cheap then I called their customer service next day just to double check , they told me I put wrong model no. then they told me to cancel and buy another one the price was doubled again I called them to double check they told me the second one is right . It was a lie I put the same as the 1st one all the details then I try to explain they do not want understand I just left as it is as I did not have option at the time but I will look early for my next renewal then move to other car insurance provider I felt I been cheated .

Awful company. Terrible customer seevice. Repeatedly ignored the content of my emails. Messed up my payments and then told me i still owed them two months worth of payments after having previously told me my balance was settled! Ridiculous that you cannot contact by phone. Sorry but this type of company does not work
