“Absolutely disgusting company, don't even bother with it. Ive had a policy out which included black box cover, however device wasn't connecting properly nor picking up driving at all. I've sent proof ,included screenshots and videos, however company didn't want to resolve my issue, instead sent me a cancellation email and made me look for another insurance. Unfortunately you HAVE to give this a star review, but if i had the option i wouldn't give it a star!!!”

I am writing regarding the cancellation notice on my insurance policy.
I was unable to make the payment on time and the policy was cancelled. I would kindly ask if it is possible to reactivate the policy or remove the cancellation notification recorded under my name.
I have recently been abroad and did not have access to my emails or correspondence, which prevented me from addressing this matter earlier. I am also currently experiencing financial hardship and have recently had to take a few days off work.
If possible, I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide, either by reactivating the policy or advising me on the best way to resolve this matter.

“DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. I've been with this company since February and have insured my first car with them which is a 2012 citroen c1, so nothing sporty at all. Yet their app that you have to use and the black box they have sent me has caused me nothing but issues since day 1. They've threatened to cancel my policy a few times due to the lack of service they provide as I've had to recently put in WEEKLY complaint to them about this issue and they still haven't fixed it. I've had several cases open up with them due to their services being so poor that they had to look into it further and I still have no fix. I've been sending them constant complaint emails since the first month I've been with them. And more recently they've just started to ignore Mt emails and do absolutely nothing about the issues I'm having. I've just woken up this morning (30/09/2025) with an email from them saying that my weekly report was overall red and if I get another red rated week then my policy is being cancelled. Even though I've contacted multiple people across last week about the same things but I have no solution and no response from them. So the point of this rating is to try and warn other people like me who have just passed their test and looking for cheap insurance to STAY AWAY from this company as they will give you nothing but issues, fake promises, stress, and nothing positive to look at.”

Sent us a blackbox for our car , this didnt work either, so you contact them but they are no help at all. Then they send you emails threatening to cancel your policy as the blackbox is not recording!!!!”

“Very disappointing experience – refund process is a mess
I recently cancelled my insurance with QuoteMeHappy and clearly updated my bank details in my online account before requesting my refund. Despite this, they are now insisting on refunding the money (£768.46) to an old, inactive card that is no longer in use, claiming it’s due to “FCA regulations.”
I gave clear instructions at the time of cancellation, asking for the refund to be sent either to my new bank account or by cheque. Instead of following those instructions, they replied with irrelevant excuses and ignored the fact that I had already updated my account with the correct details.
At the end of the day, this is my money – and I should have the right to receive it in the account I choose, especially when I’ve provided all the necessary information. The lack of flexibility and poor customer service are unacceptable.
If you value efficiency, communication, and control over your own finances, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.”

“as a new customer I am finding them a nightmare to deal with. Live chat seems to not exist, I have had trouble discussing NCB so I get a text saying they are cancelling my insurance tonight. Impossible to get a real person to talk to and it's as clear as mud how to upload changes. I pressed the wrong button, one of my drivers got deleted and I got a £13 charge.”
“My policy was set NOT TO 'auto renew' yet they did it anyway and stung us with an additional £100 + on the policy. They dont have a contact number and as of 09h40 on the 14th April 25, their chat help is not available. Zero customer service and I will never use them again. Still trying to get the policy cancelled.”
