Tried to process my son’s insurance policy and at the end it said contact investigations unit. Tried for 3 days solid, hours being on hold to it keep cutting off saying try again later! Tried emailing… no response. If it’s like this to try and get the policy I dread to think what it would be like if he had to make a claim!! Forget it quote me happy I would rather pay the extra and go elsewhere! Absolute joke!!!

Absolutely useless company. Had to wait and still waiting over a month to get paid out for my car which valued 2k under what it should’ve been. Staff giving me wrong information on the phone after waiting over half an hour to speak to a human. If I could 0 stars I would.

If I could give them a zero I would. My insurance was due to run out on the 22nd so I went online and saved a cheap quote from quote me happy so then when the 22nd rolled around I could just buy it straight away. When the time came I tried to retrieve my quote from their website. It said it couldnt be found. So I thought, i’ll try to ring them. But then I find out they dont have a single phone number apart from a claims line?? So I then try to email them about it and they take a day to reply to just tell me to try again, even though i told them i’ve tried so many times. Anyway, after about 5 days of trying to email them but they dont read what im actually saying so that was a deadend. Id also like to add I sent an email to them, and another email to the complaints team. One of them told me my original quote had expired and one told me it hadn’t? After a while of being messed about by them i just thought, well its been 5 days now and I really need insurance so i tried to do a different quote from them and just buy that. When I tried it said something went wrong and I need to ring a number, when i tried to ring the number provided every single time it says try again later. I tried again later 10 times. When I also emailed them about this, once again after having to wait a day I was told there was no problem on their end and I need to try on a different device, so i did and still said the same thing. So after being messed about by them so much i decided id rather never drive my car again than give them a penny. Definitely avoid, even though they are cheap. I can guarantee you’ll be messed about, and if you have a complaint you wont ever be able to get help with it because first of all there isnt a single phone number you can get in contact with, and second of all the negligence of the people that work there. My advice would be dont go with them, they are absolutely awful and I feel lucky that in the end I managed to find an amazing insurance company that actually communicates with you and not had a single problem with them, they are even cheaper than what i was originally quoted with quote me happy. More like quote me angry.

It's all done through the website. One slight problem is that the website is awful. It's forever locking the account so I can't log in. Because it's all done through the website, you can't speak to anybody. All you can do is create a ticket which half the time doesn't get replied to.

I took out a policy for myself and another named driver on a single vehicle. The policy was set up correctly, accepted and paid in full. Within 7 days I received an email from the company claiming they were routinely checking details of their policy holders (despite the policy only being 7 days old) and asked for vehicle documents, driving licence along with a long list of questions about the policy, all of which they had been provided with at the time of the policy being taken out. I answered all their questions and as I received my licence prior to photo card licences being introduced I do not have one to provide so asked if there was an alternative I could provide. Within a couple of days I received a reply saying they were cancelling my policy because they decided I was fronting for the named driver. They didn't provide evidence of this, no prior record of fronting from either myself or the named driver. All policy details were truthful and accurate. The real reason there was a named driver on the policy is because my husband has Parkinson's and is permanently in a wheelchair. Due to his condition he has many regular hospital appointments that are vital to maintaining and monitoring his health but as a woman in my 60s that still works over 40 hours a week I'm not always able to make myself available to get my husband to his appointments, hence the need for a named driver (my son) who makes himself available whenever I'm not. The reason he has to be insured on the same vehicle is because my husbands wheelchair is very difficult to manoeuvre and fit in most vehicles. For example we have a second vehicle that I'm no longer able to get my husband in and out of and certainly can't lift his wheelchair into the boot without seriously injuring myself in the process. Even my son struggles due to the weight and awkwardness of the wheelchair. After receiving this email stating they were cancelling my policy I immediately replied to request how to go through an appeals process as I did not accept their false accusation that myself and my son were committing what is a criminal offence. I also requested a full refund in lieu of reinstatement of the policy as this whole situation is an error on their part not mine. I sent that email 8 days ago now and still haven't heard back from them when they state that they will reply to all emails within 48 hours at the latest. I still haven't received a refund and I've subsequently had to cancel hospital appointments for my husband because I'm unable to get him there. I've never felt so let down by a company in my life and it makes it all the worse as there's been no wrong doing on my part. As anyone in a similar situation to myself will understand, day to day life can be extremely stressful caring for your partner 24/7 whilst also working 40+ hours a week (I work from home). This whole situation has pushed me to my breaking point. This company should be ashamed of themself and I hope that at the very least, leaving this review will help others avoid finding themselves in a similar situation.

I have made a claim for an earing that my wife lost recently , they are covered under the policy and this has been confirmed by "Quoptemehappy" , to process the claim I need to send to them the one earing that was not lost and they will send a new pair of earings , I can then buy back the one earing??? I already own the one earing why would i need to return this only then to have to pay to get back something that I already own, if my wife had lost both earings they have said they would have replaced the pair, so whats the differance? Customer service was very poor (American lady) simply kept quoting and reading the policy to me. So what they actually want is for me to pay the excess £150 , they get a diamond and pearl earing , which they then recycle to recover their costs. Having already bought the replacement earings as they were a special 50th birthday gift for wife , and not wanting to take then risk of not being able to get them as they match her necklace I simply wanted the money minus the excees , not complicated I would of thought. All I got was as page 38 of your terms , no customer service no understanding and certainly not being listened too as a customer....

Absolutely useless, no way of contacting them. There online experience is a continuous circle of disappointment and phoning there claim line to cancel is NOT possible. THEY ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO HELP YOU. They are waiting to run over the 14 day period so they can then charge for the cancellation at £25-50 ... so remember to add this to your quote before you start..

Absolutely f**king USELESS! ONLINE ONLY! Then website crashes and stays down with no one to talk to! So I can't insure my new car! So I can't change my insurance on my policy! All the online bit says it to "log into your account" ....I can't because your website is down. I'm going to take out a new policy and then cancel with these! STAY AWAY!!

Quotemehappy is Aviva but aviva customer service can’t see quotemehappy policies . This means if you want to speak to a human you can’t ….. . So enjoy chat bots that just want you to get another quote rather than discuss existing account #thefuture

Exactly the same details as last year, no claims, convictions yet premium increased over 100% with no explanation. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere for half the price! Methinks Quote me Happy ought to be renamed Quote me UNhappy.

Got the date of my new policy wrong, contacted them and they took 3 days to reply, then refunded part of my policy and reverted the policy back to the old one. Then had to pay MORE to take out another policy. Incompetent is not the word!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Most unprofessional company , impossible to speak to anyone and don’t want to hear it if you have an issue. I got an email saying my insurance was cancelled , as I needed to drive to work I took out a new policy else where. I messaged them in regards to the canxellation and they came back saying my policy wasn’t actually cancelled. Now I am not getting any reply and am £1500 down. Please avoid at all costs

Three or four years loyalty from me and boom the price rocketed. Not just general increases, as other insurers were around £150 less. No luck with renegotiation. Switched. Ending up paying just a tenner more than last year with someone else. Cue the threatening bot sent emails advising I have been reported for having no insurance and the Police will find out.... as if.

There is no Customer Services department, if only I'd known before I purchased the policy. I need a password to access their Secure Email Portal. I ask for a Password reset. They send the password reset to the Secure Email Portal which I can't access as I don't have the password. I can't speak to anyone as the emails are no reply and the only support option is a useless chatbot.

Wrongfully Cancelled car insurance ! I went on study exchange for the year, I notified quote me happy that i would not be using my car and so no trips would be recorded on my app until i returned home for Christmas. After being bombarded with emails because no trips had been recorded (i was in Singapore!) i emailed again to confirm my policy was not at threat of being cancelled, they told me to ignore the emails but couldn't stop them as they were automated. When i came home they cancelled my insurance because i hadn't used the car in the first week of returning, at no point during my correspondence with quote me happy did they inform me that i would have to use my car and record a trip as soon as i returned to avoid policy cancellation. Customer services was rude and unhelpful. I had paid for a years insurance and only needed the car for the two months whilst i was home in between my time out of the country, they cancelled it as soon as i got back and i couldn't use my car whilst i was home. Pretty appalling, don't use! Not worth the Hassle.
