Involved in a no fault accident, had to fill out a webform at the side of the road to report the accident (wasn't able to call anyone straight after the crash). My car was taken away a few days later and after that I've heard nothing from them. Tried to contact over the phone just to keep getting cut off, they never respond to emails. The webchat is useless the agents seem to have less of a clue what's going on than I do; just standard canned answers to everything and never getting back to you. The hire car I paid for in my cover in the event of an accident has never materialised either despite multiple requests for it. These people are clowns; save yourself the stress of dealing with these tossers. Yes the fully comprehensive quote was cheap, but in return the service you get is non existent. I've been stuck without any transportation for two weeks all because of a accident that wasn't my fault. They're happy to take your money, just a little less keen on returning the gesture. Oh and don't waste your money with the legal cover add on, it's just a load of greedy solicitors who will constantly harass you to make exaggerated claims for injuries so that they can line their pockets on your misfortune.

They paid out on a claim I felt was fraud without even telling then increased my premiums to a level where it was more than car was worth, never respond to emails shocking

Please no one else be conned by this company, they take your money and do absolutely nothing. My car has been blamed for an accident and was not there, I have proof my car was not there and has been examined and no coinciding damage so you would think that would be the end of it, the claim is still outstanding on my policy as it has not been closed off even though my car was not to blame. They have messed me about before but this is by far the worst. I do not have any trust in this company and will be pursuing a complaint to the Financial ombudsman.

Very unhappy with quote me happy , terrible customer service no phone number to talk to real person . No direct email to a real person . To bad if you've got a problem, your stuck. Bought new car , wanted to swap over cover , they won't insure new car , with no explanation, so having to cancel policy and being charged £56 fee. Will never use or recommend this company.

Not sure where to start really! I took out car insurance with Quote me Happy in May 2019. Changed my car late August but could not access my account to amend details completely locked out and no other way to contact them. I needed to pick up new car so had to write off insurance despite there being 8 months cover still to run on it and took out new policy with new company. Tried raising it with Aviva to no avail and currently there is an open enquiry with Financial Ombudsman. However about 4 weeks ago an email came in for the renewal for a car I have not owned since start of September 2019, I managed to use link on email and set up new password to access my account and cancelled the insurance or so I thought! Today £163 has been taken out my account , I raised this with PayPal today through Resolution centre to be told I can't have a refund as the payment was authorised. Payment most certainly not authorised by me and does this mean Quote me Happy will help themselves to my money every year! Never ever have I had problems with an insurance company like Quote me Happy who remain completely faceless and unaccountable it appears. Quote me Happy is owned by Aviva, who told me they couldn't help as it was a separate company and they can't access the records - consequently deal with them at you peril.

Horrendous to deal with if you have any policy issues as I had. NCD proof uploaded no acknowledgement of this just daily emails asking to upload it. Try to contact someone to discuss is a joke. No CS telephone number. Ok I expected that but no online chat no direct email or I could not find it as Despite repeated attempts I could not get past the bot. So policy cancelled this cost me more but back to a supplier I could actually call. You might be lucky if all goes through smoothly but if not beware.

automatically renew the policy without sending any notification. went to paypal to request a refund and paypal also declined - saying this is an authorized. BE CAREFUL when you sign up with them!!!

Do NOT go with this company. Two years ago I had an obviously fraudulent crash with a man but they settled in his favour (it was a flash for cash situation. Claims my Fiesta, which came out with just a cracked bumper and passed two MOTs since, wrote off his Toyota Invincible at under 10 mph, which even Toyota told me they doubted but without inspecting the vehicle they couldn't do anything and he'd already had it taken away) and they agreed to pay him. The claimant did not receive payment for two years so took out a CCJ for £9500 against me personally. He sent it to my old address so I did not see the CCJ until it was too late to contest it. I informed QMH as soon as I was aware. They assured me they would pay the CCJ by the deadline. They did not (they paid 20 days late) so I now have a CCJ of just under £10k on my record for 6 years. I am getting married soon and we have saved to put a deposit on a house but now we can't get a mortgage, credit, finance, anything and my partner is self employed so we can't get mortgage under just his name. I have been asking for evidence they paid it for months and have been ignored which leads me to believe they messed up but don't want to admit it. I need evidence they paid in time to get the CCJ wiped. If they did not pay it in time I need them to state that so I can take legal action. This has caused me so much stress and I am now as badly off as I would have been had I not had insurance in the first place. Please pay more and go with someone more reputable. I wish I'd paid the extra couple hundred to go with different insurers as it's ended up costing me far more in time off work, stress and legal fees.

Avoid this company at all costs, no human interaction, they do not answer emails. Canceled my insurance after a couple of week after asking for additional information, I sent all of this along with follow up emails. NO REPLY! Shocking customer service to say it’s part of Aviva! I will be taking this to the ombudsman to sort out!

What ever you do or how desperate you are, a word of warning. Do not, l repeat do not insure your car with quote me happy. I am now talking to the insurance ombudsman about this company and have opened a serious claim about them. The company set you up to fail, especially young drivers. The word scam has been mentioned on here, however l believe we are dealing with something more serious. The black boxes can be faulty which has happened to us Yet quote me happy wont address the problem. If anyone else has had issues with their equipment or anything else then feel free to contact me.

Had an email telling me that I had to speak to their 'Policy Investigations Unit' as I made a genuine mistake on the policy which they picked up - fair enough. Emailed to request policy cancellation. Response saying I had to phone a number only open 8.30 till 5 weekdays (so when everyone is at work). Called - 45 minutes later, had to hang up as at work. Called later same day - 60 minutes later, hand to hang up again for the same reason. Called this morning to an automated message saying that they are having too many calls, and to try again later, which then just hung up. Absolutely out and out terrible. HIRE MORE STAFF!!!

What a waste of money these guys are my black box wasn’t reading my travel I sent several emails no reply had an email yesterday my policy is being cancelled been driving 7 years with no issue with any other insurance company within a week when I had no response what a joke will be taking to small claims court

Policy did not renew automatically - my fault for not noticing this. However, a new quote immediately (as in, just after midnight) was 50% higher than the renewal quote! You are providing THE SAME COVER to THE SAME CAR over THE SAME TIME PERIOD! Absolutely pathetic conduct, morally bankrupt little company with zero respect for loyal customers and an imbecilic approach to business. You lost my custom for DECADES.

I've had nothing but trouble with black box not connecting or recording trips. Been threatened with policy cancellation despite doing everything that I'm been asked to do. I've requested new black box twice which has been ignored, just get generic replies telling me how to connect the app etc. I'm 18 and if this policy is pulled by them, I will never get insurance again. I though it was just me until I started reading other reviews. Mom and dad have car policies with QMH and service etc has always been good, but my black box is a farce.

The black box system only worked for the two days from being installed and even then trips were being missed and wasn’t being recorded. I contacted the company via email and they said to allow 24 hours for trips to be recorded. 48 hours went by and the trips still didn’t appear-the device kept unpairing from my phone and was clearly faulty as no lights showed on the device. I ended up cancelling my policy before the company did and going elsewhere for £40 more with no black box. I’ve seen so many reviews all saying the same thing about this company-I’d definitely steer clear of them.
