Frustrating wait for service , you get sent round to the same options with long delays and my car was still waiting for recovery two days after the incident immobilising it😒

Awful service - no email to send to, numerous attempts to ring with no answer . On finally getting through spoke to a woman who advised it wasn’t anything she could help me with and promptly laughed in background with other staff. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.still awaiting outcome 12 months after accident which wasn’t my fault .

Absolute con artist of an insurer. We were hit in the rear at a red light, provided dash cam footage, and Sheila’s Wheels somehow determined we were partially at fault. Subsequently we have lost all our no claims and are now subject to higher premiums despite not actually being at fault. We were never advised of this, and only found out when we were looking to renew the policy. Customer service is an absolute joke - we are currently nearly at THREE HOURS of waiting to get through to someone on the phone. The online service is useless and just tells you to call them instead. Additionally, their policy is to provide you a courtesy car within 2 days, however we had to argue for one to be provided which we only received after 5 days. This meant I could not travel to work and had to take time off. DO NOT USE SHEILA’S WHEELS.

"they dont answer the phones, they dont pay out claims, they ignore all emails. The only phone calls they answer are new sales calls. "

What has happened to Sheilas Wheels. Just awful company now days. I have been with Sheilas Wheels on and off for many years. I have been trying to call them since last week and as I write this review I have been put on hold by their claims team for 1 hour and 27 minutes so far. Last week I was put on hold by another advisor for 1 hour and 8 minutes before the call dropped. This is just dreadful and horrible service. Sort your service out Sheilas Wheels! I will never be using you again once my policy ends.

Shocking customer service. I have been trying to contact them since Friday morning to report my car as stolen. I have been on hold for over five hours in total (usually get to around 30 mins on hold before getting cut off). The web chat is a joke, it just keeps telling me to ring Customer Services. There's no email contact so the only option is to ring. Finally got through to someone Saturday afternoon only to be cut off half way through the conversation (although he did eventually ring back). Someone did ring me back three days later but when I explained the details of my claim she said she was the wrong department, went to transfer me then cut the call. I called again today (Tuesday) and, after having been on hold for another hour, finally spoke to someone who said no-one was available to speak to me, that someone would call me back then hung up. It's now been five days since I made initial contact and in that time I've had no meaningful contact with Sheila's Wheels. If my company treated customers this way we’d be out of business in a month. I'm beginning to think they're only interested in taking your money. As soon as there's a possibility they may have to pay out on a policy they cut off all forms of communication.

Do not use this company. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company in the UK. Waited for 48 minutes to speak to someone, and eventually hung up. There is a reason why their quotes seem good. They do not care about their customers at all. I waited nearly 30 minutes to report an incident. I waited another 25 minutes to speak about it the next day. I paid to have a courtesy car, and today, 7 full days after the incident I am still without one. Therefore they take money and do not honour that commitment. Does not seem remotely an acceptable way to behave. I am now waiting for their head office to pick up. They have just ended the call after 12 minutes holding. Believe me, at an already worrying time, Sheila's Wheels are NOT there for you. They are only there for the money. There is obviously a real shortage of staff, and I feel sorry for the staff in their call centre who are probably tearing their hair out at customers complaining about wait times. This company does not remotely fulfil the obligations of a car insurance company. I am reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman and am contacting Money Supermarket to alert them as to how truly awful Sheila's Wheels is. Please don't waste your money. You are NOT getting a good value car insurance policy. You are being exploited.

1TH OF AUGUST 2023, POLICE NUMBER 85951558 I WAS RETURNING HOME AFTER A LONG DAY IT WAS 9 PM, I WAS TRAVELLING TO SOUTHAMPTON ON THE M3, A POLICE CAR STOPS ME, TELLING ME THAT NOT THAT MY CAR WAS NOT INSURED, IMAGINE MY SURPRISE, I SAID IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE, MY GREEK ODYSSEY BEGINS. THEY LET ME INTO THEIR CAR AND SHOW ME IN THEIR SYSTEM THAT MY INSURANCE HAD EXPIRED ON 8TH JULY 2023 AT THAT MOMENT I PANICKED AND FELT HUMILIATED I SHOWED MY MONTHLY PAYMENT IN MY APP, THEN I WENT TO LOOK FOR MY INSURANCE ONLINE, I DID NOT REMEMBER MY PASSWORD BECAUSE I WAS IN A TERRIBLE SITUATION OF PANIC AND STRESS, AFTER ALMOST 2 HOURS DETAINED IN A POLICE CAR, FINALLY I FIND THE CERTIFICATE OF MY INSURANCE THAT MY CAR IS INSURED FROM 08-07-2023 TILL 08-07-2024, THEY LOOK AT ME SURPRISED AND WAIT FOR THE POLICE SERGEANT WHAT TO DO, FINALLY THE SERGEANT TELLS THEM THAT A MISTAKE OF THE INSURANCE AND TO MAKE ME GO, THEY APOLOGIZE TO ME, OBVIOUSLY THEY TELL ME WE DO OUR JOB, RETURN HOME WITH TWO HOURS OF DELAY, FOR A HUMAN MISTAKE MADE BY THE STAFF. THE NEXT DAY I CALL SHEILAS WHEELS AND THE LADY VERY KINDLY TELLS ME THAT YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, NOT UNDERSTANDING THAT I HAD ALREADY HAD A BAD EVENING THE NIGHT BEFORE, EVERYTHING IS DONE IN ALMOST 2 HOURS, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE STRESS AND LOST TIME SAYING THAT I HAD TO GO TO WORK, I HAVE TO CANCEL MY APPUNTANTAMENTO I LOST A DAY OF WORK £ 175. OO. THE LADY TELLS ME THAT SHE SOLVED EVERYTHING BY TELLING ME THAT SHE HAD SOLVED MY PROBLEM, AT THAT POINT I REMAIN FOOLISH. The lady did not to a small sympathy for my success without understanding how I felt and how I was humiliated by their mistake I had to reinforce several times that I want to make a formal complaint, it is not acceptable that I am told I solved the problem, I do not see how it was solved. After a couple of days, I am called by the office of those who take care of customers.:( Again with a poor shy sorry this man offered me £100, I thought it was an insult.Without understanding my loss and my personal emotional experience, been humiliated I told him my loss, and in the end he told me I will be back soon, Sadly still waiting for this person, I am afraid this person and the company let me down in BIG TIME !!!!:(((((((

Joke of a company I’ve ended up paying wen accident wasn’t my fault. Hours trying to speak to someone still haven’t . My premium doubled. Bloody fuming I’m off elsewhere. Sheila’s wheels can shove it down under!!!!
