Have been on hold on both their web chat and my phone for 40 minutes and counting. This because they put the wrong date on my policy when I contacted them earlier to change my details. To change the details took 50 MINUTES. Something has really gone wrong with this company. If any other company is within £20-30 of their renewal fee, go with the other company. I will be next time around.

They are giving only option for live chat connection for cancellation to auto renewal and it’s very long to get connected also there is no enough explanation for big price changes on renewal quote. Not good.

The ridiculous chat box system needs to go. I wanted to make an amendment to my policy and what should have taken minutes by speaking to someone on the phone took hours. I ended up shouting at the phone as the chat box did not comprehend I wanted to add an additional named driver to my policy. I then had to wait for ages to speak to someone but before that I was asked to fill in an online form. I did this as requested. However as it was the weekend they then closed the lines after I had been waiting for an endless length of time. My first instinct when I finally got in touch with the company was to ask for my Policy to be cancelled.

"They were a rip off when my husband died & I sold his car, and I wanted to add my daughter to my car insurance, their admin charge for the 2 transactions was extortionate, I only had a refund of \u00a369 & a charge of \u00a327. The insurance cost me \u00a3189 on 6th April & it was cancelled on 2nd August. I won\u2019t be using them again "

Changed insurers and asked Sheila's Wheels to send the usual proof of NCD, which I forwarded on to my new insurers. It turns out that Sheila's Wheels have declared I have only 1 years NCD. As my previous insurer stated I had 13 years,which was passed on to Sheila's Wheels, I would like to know where that has gone in the last12 months, as my present insurance has hit me with a £50.00 bill to reflect 1 year rather than the 24 I have. Your automated question system never understands the question and throws up all sorts of non related answers,I tried 3 different phone numbers and got cut off each time without speaking to a human being. You are an extremely difficult company to get enquiries through to.

i used this company last year when another car hit my stationary car in a car park sheils wheels were very good i got all the information required they sent me a courtisy car so thought all was ok when it came to renew my insurance i was informed that a claim was still pending i was not aware of this at all,so my insurance when up a lot , trying to get someone to talk to was horrific i kept getting though to a talking machine and then cut of , after a week of calling and getting no joy i tried again , was put through to a real person and informed if i wanted to i could call the firm of solicitors that they have passed the claim to . i cannot go to another company as the claim pending was on my record . this was very distressing to me , i do feel that this is the problem of sheilas wheels and not mine , i have had to use them again , at one time i even tried to contact them on the chat line but thet was closed allthough the time i called they should have been there .i allways thought a claim was the job of the insureane coimpany but with this company that does not seem to be case , . i have been very dissapointed with the the lack of service .

Couldn't buy insurance via Sheila's wheels as when using link from comparison site I received a silly OOPS message from SW saying they couldn't arrange to set up home insurance with them as website not working. Purchased insurance elsewhere!

Had two policies with Sheila so I went on compare and find cheaper deals,instead of leaving them I tried to settle a deal by trying to talk them to match other insurers but they didn’t show any care,like they did not care whether I leave or stay. Customer services is an I don’t care attitude

Avoid if planning to move house, otherwise easy to use company I want to leave a fair review. The insurance process was straight forward enough and easy to complete. Can't fault them for that. The downside is if you ever need to make a change YOU WILL BE PENALISED. I've moved flat, my insurance has one payment left on it and I thought I'd do the right thing to let them know I've changed address - only 7 minute drive from my old place. I have then been told to pay double my monthly fee as a result! As I still have access to my old place I can just move the car back to the old place as I have access for the month but was told that was no longer an option and would have to either pay or cancel. So my advice, if you're staying put for a year - great use Sheilas' Wheels. If you may move to a new address, avoid because they will penalise you for it.

had Sheilas wheels before. had to make a claim as another driver wrote my car off. Sheilas W heels did not even tell their own garage the car had been written off. It was only when I phoned them to collect some belongings that they knew about it. Sending an email to make an offer of settlement -yes or no. is not helpful. I believed my car was worth a lot more but had no opportunity to discuss this with a person. I had an awful job trying to sort out my excess as I had used the new£250.00 offer being advertised on tv. Nightmare. I even had to pay to change my vehicle details when I got another car, even though it was not my fault.All in all I would not use Sheilas Wheels or their affiliated companies again.

Trying to get help from the call centre and chat line. Nightmare; over an hour hanging on and then getting nowhere; call centre saying one thing and the chat line saying another. They may have been cheaper with the initial quote but definitely not worth the stress when you need to contact them.

After being tupped in a car park, informed Sheila's that damage was very light. Informed that the would take my car from Denby Dale to Bipmingham to repair...cost to me ZERO. or I could have repaired at local garage...cost to me £600 plus loss of no claims etc...

I was driving with a 11 year old for 2 months.then police stopped me.said am not insured.i had swapped my insurance over 2 months earlier because I got a new car.when I got in touch with my insurance they forgot to do it .all thou the two car was up on there computer. Only the old one was insured. Witch I already scrapped.

Opening a claim with Shiela wheels for a non fault accident was one of the worse things I’ve ever had to go through. It’s been 6 months and it’s still going on. I never got told the correct information and never been contacted with an update. They are very slow and terrible customer communication skills I would not recommend. Stay away
