“Have been a loyal customer over the years, frequently buying jewellery and home wares. I hear Gemporia are having financial problems with falling sales, they've cancelled free ring sizing and closed down Lifestyle channel.
I recently returned a damaged expensive platinum diamond ring for refund with royal mail. Got email from Gemporia that they received parcel but then they claimed ring was missing from parcel and refused to refund it. I confirmed and by email that the ring was in the box. I also have taken photos of returned items in returns. After numerous phone calls and emails they still insisted ring was missing and no refund. I asked them: why would I keep a damaged item? No response.
I then found out that they had auctioned the same ring in a smaller size later that month. I had complained the size P/Q was tight and that it was mislabeled. Convinced Gemporia sold my returned ring without refunding me.
It's unbelievable that they would stoop so low as to cheat customers out of their refunds.
Very sad their Customer Service has deteriorated so badly and they've become so unreliable and untrustworthy.
I am going to report them to Standards & Trading and file a police report on them. They are Crooks!”

Always been happy with the try before you buy guarantee, although in last 9 months the refunds have taken sooo long they are often refunding over £1000 after a month of having my money. Despite returning two weeks previously they will still take second split payment whilst they try to say return hasn’t been processed (they are able to sell ring again in this time however). Now they say I am returning too much back on recent orders!! Isn’t this the point?”

“have shopped with them for years and in the "good old days" hardly ever had anything to complain about. now, its pretty much everything from the presenters (please PLEASE get new ones) the items, i've had to send more stuff back than ever before due to poor quality, not looking like what we saw on screen and generally just being rubbish. but my biggest complaint has to be refunds and how ridiculously slow this company is in giving you your money back. there's no excuse, currently, you owe me approx £170...just refund me! enough of "short staffed" (employ more people) enough of "we are very busy" employ more people enough of "our refund policy states blah blah blah". just bloody refund people within a reasonable acceptable amount of time and be done with it. btw, your items are getting worse and worse, quality is awful, and why are you selling so much, what can only be described as TAT. word to hattie houston and her hugely inflated ego...your items are from china and sell on ebay and really, i mean, really are awful.”
