I AM CANCELING 4 TOURS WITH YOU SINCE YOU DON'T CARE TO PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER THAT I CAN ASK QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! You advertise produce # 567046 but nowhere in the description of the tour does it mention or show a photo of the type or size the boat is.

Terrible customer communication- pretty insistent on installing their app - something I refused to do (tired of my data being mined), I would NOT EVER use this service again! Judging by other reviews, I am not alone. 😔

Tour review extremely misleading for Istanbul tour run by Megapass. We wanted a tour without entering the ridiculously expensive buildings. Thought we had found one. Turns out you have to pay the guide cash on arrival. When we read in the details sent minutes after paying, we requested a refund from Get Your Guide and MegaPass. Both refused. Avoid at all costs.

Watch your Credit Card account. Wife booked an even for her and her two BFFs. Charged our account the same day. Five days later a duplicate charge appeared on our on line statement. We didn't see it until after the day of the event we booked. Now they're saying it was either a internet issue or a double click by us or something, but they aren't going to refund our money. Primarily because it's after the fact. Well, the charge already hit our account. We review the charges on our account often, but the timing in this case we didn't see it until after the event. They owe us $105 and think a code for a future event is going to appease us. Well it's not.

This company is a scam . We are in Costa Rica and tried to call to meet someone for horse back riding . We paid 285.00 for two tickets that are useless . They printed a WhatsApp phone number to contact about meeting and nobody answers the phone . BEWARE!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience booking through Getyourguide.com and would not recommend them based on my situation. I booked a Geisha dinner experience in Kyoto in good faith, fully intending to attend. Unfortunately, my work schedule changed unexpectedly and I needed to move the reservation by just one or a few days. I was not trying to cancel but only to change the date so I could still participate in the experience. During the booking process, it was not clearly communicated that the ā€œnon-refundableā€ policy also meant that date changes were not allowed. If this had been made clear I would never have made the reservation. As an international traveler booking for the first time in Japan, transparency is extremely important and I feel this was misleading. I reached out well in advance and was willing to work with the restaurant and the company to find a reasonable solution. I even suggested that they could open my original spot to another guest since the week was so busy. Despite this, no flexibility or accommodation was offered. Customer service was polite but ultimately unhelpful and the rigid policies left no room for fairness or common sense. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I expected better communication and support, especially for a premium cultural experience. I hope they improve transparency and provide more flexibility in the future so other travelers don’t face the same situation.

I booked a private transfer for a 4.30am pick up. I asked for the drivers contact details as I have not received any information whatsoever. By 11pm the night prior GetYourGuide was still unable to get in touch with the operator. I asked for the booking to be cancelled due to safety concerns in regards to not being able to verify our driver since we had no licence plate number, no car details, no name of the driver, no contact details - NOTHING. Yet I wasn't able to cancel but assured they take safety seriously. The lack of transparency and information is a huge safety concern. Very unprofessional.

*** False Advertising, false itinerary. Do not book through GetYourGuide, go direct to a cruise company *** What is advertised is not what you get. GetYourGuide list Ha Long Bay Lux Cruises - Marvel Travel as the activity provider. This company has zero control over the cruise or activities. They are nothing more than a middleman booking agent. You are charged an inflated price for an itinerary they do not run, do not manage, and do not honour. We chose this Lan Ha Bay cruise solely because the GetYourGuide listing clearly advertised: - Option to explore Dark & Bright Cave on Day 1 - On Day 2, either Trung Trang Cave or swimming and kayaking in Ao Ech None of these activities took place. Instead, we were given: - A token 45 minutes of kayaking near Tra Bau island on Day 1 - An entirely unadvertised 30 minute visit to Hospital Cave on Day 2 which was incredibly overcrowded and potentially dangerous (we spent longer on a small boat and bus to get to and from the cave than we spent there, and we had to be up and ready at 7:15am in the morning to do this activity) On top of this, there was very little actual cruising. The boat anchored before dinner on the evening of day 1 and didn't move again. Completely undermining the point of booking a ā€œcruiseā€ in the first place. We were shuttled back and forth on an old, small, uncomfortable transfer boat, rather than spending time sailing through Lan Ha Bay. This further reduced the experience and made the trip feel cheap and poorly organised. When we raised the issue of the itinerary with the activity provider through get your guide they did not respond. Once they had our money, they simply disappeared. After the issue was escalated via GetYourGuide they hid behind a vague disclaimer, quoting "Cruise itineraries and schedules are subject to change without notice, depending on the weather and operating conditions." This is not an ā€œitinerary adjustmentā€. It is a complete substitution of core activities, and there is no realistic scenario in which the advertised itinerary was ever going to be delivered. You could book directly with a cruise operator in Ha Long / Lan Ha Bay for less money and at least know what you are actually signing up for. Our cruise was with Aqua Luxury Cruises. If you are booking this tour because of the advertised itinerary — do not make the mistake we did. The listing is misleading, complaints are ignored by the 'activity provider' and dismissed by get your guide. Accountability is non-existent. This experience left us feeling misled, overcharged, and dismissed. Avoid. Do not book.

The audio guide purchased did not work at all. I paid a considerable amount for them and ā€˜policy’ was cited as a reason for not giving a reasonable refund. Absolutely appalling service.

Scam would never trust this site Paid £200 for evening boat trip when we was in Budapest and they took the money and cancel the trip and still fighting for the money back now They should be prosecuted for the fraud they committed

To the Manager of this site, This website goes to extreme lengths to get potential customers to sign up for your potential "experiences" without allowing THE CUSTOMERS to FIRST ascertain whether or not they have all the information with regard to the ACTUAL providers and the details of what dates these experiences run from ie: start to finish to see if it will line up with travel plans etc. WE need to be able to know who is providing the service and to contact them via a phone call if we need more information about their services if it is not provided on the webpage. NOT be given the runaround by your web page and have to call a travel agency to obtain ANY direct phone number at all for Get Your Guide. AND when this number is called, STILL NOT obtain any information because they cannot be provide information unless they are provided with a booking number UP FRONT which is EXTREMELY unhelpful. Tonight you lost $2500 CAD worth of my business because of YOUR LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. AND if you would like me to post this email as a review I will happily give you a 1/10 VERY DISSATISFIED!!! Then I read your reviews and am glad that I had such a bad experience and didn't book. As a solo female traveller on my way to Thailand, I would not recommend GetYourGuide. In Phuket, my tour was cancelled without any notice. I was waiting for pickup, and then I was told to make my own way to the venue, which felt unsafe and unfair. In Bangkok, the tour guide never showed up, and I was left alone in the middle of nowhere. I still have not received any refunds for these tours. Customer support has been no help at all. This was a horrible experience, especially when travelling alone. Please be careful.

I am shocked at the disgusting service. I have been sending emails since the 12 of Dec 2025 and not one reply, also send numerous messages via your website. I would like a refund for a mistake on my ticket name - not my fault either as all correct details were submitted upon booking via the app. Literally it's theft to take money and not provide a service!!! I booked for a tour in Rome and only had one day. Because my name was incorrect and didnt match my passport name I couldnt get in!! its been a month and as yet not a single communication until today when an email arrived saying my case was CLOSED! and still I am out of pocket with no refund in sight.

DONT EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I booked and excursion in Cozumel. The excursion was cancelled due to weather (yes, I understand that they don’t control the weather). My problem is that they made me waste $30 on taxis. Before I left my ship I checked the app to see if it was canceled (it wasn’t). They issued the voucher as still happening 10min before scheduled to start (right before I got in the cab). The tour guide showed me that they had sent a message early letting them know of the cancellation. But ā€œget your guideā€ didn’t inform me so I WASTED $30 of my hard earned money. …. Do not use this site

We had terriable expereince with GetyourGuide.com. We booked the Colón Opera House Guided Tour scheduled for 12 November 2025 at 3:00 pm. We purchased two tickets on 7 February 2025 through their website. So did our friends. We arrived at the venue on time and presented our tickets; however, we were informed that our tickets were invalid. Prior to the tour, we had received reminder emails from GetYourGuide instructing us to bring our passports and arrive by 2:45 pm. On the same day, we also received text messages, stating that the tour had been cancelled due to a protest near the Opera House. Despite this, when we arrived at the site, the tour was clearly proceeding as normal—many participants were entering the theatre while we were denied entry. What a lie they made!!! It is extremely disappointing that we were refused participation after paying in full nine months in advance. It appears that the company failed to secure our tickets, causing us to miss an experience we had planned and travelled from Australia to enjoy. We also attempted to purchase new tickets for another date, but all tours before our return flight on 15 November 2025 were fully booked. We kindly ask them to investigate this matter urgently and provide a prompt resolution. But we never received reply from them. Please don't use this company for your travel!!!

Bij get your guide 5 trips geboekt Trip 1: moesten 30 euro extra betalen voor quad, terwijl in boeking staat inclusief. Echter te plekken hadden we geen anderen keus, niet gemeld want niet direct get your guide fout. Trip 2: kookworkshop. Voedselvergiftiging. Ook niet gemeld. Want niet direct get your guide fout. Hierdoor Trip 3 moeten afzeggen. Niet binnen 24 uur dus geen geld terug. Extra hotel moeten boeken. Trip 4 luchtballon. Werd afgezegd om 8 uur. Trip begon 7 uur. Trip 5. Zijn gewoon nooit opgehaald door organisatie. We hebben geld terug gekregen van de Trip, echter geen onkosten voor de taxi die we moesten regelen. De taxi wilt/ kan geen bon schrijven. Al bij al ontzettend veel geld en tijd. Ze doen wellicht geen goed onderzoek naar de organisaties die ze aanbieden en nemen geen verantwoordelijkheid voor hun fouten, ondanks het enigste wat we vragen de onkosten van taxi. Niet hier boeken

Do not book anything via Get Your Guide. They do not have any customer service so you can end up being out of pocket with no course of action. I booked a Macchu Picchu tour + optional bus tickets and the guide had no idea about the bus tickets. I have emailed Get Your Guide three times and no one has responded - so I am out 60 USD. Finally had to dispute the charge with Amex and still have had no contact from Get Your Guide or the tour operator. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Total SCAM, they charged me for a tour in Dubai that I never booked, I have never been there. There is no way to contact them and they don't verify CC billing zip code. My bank had to backcharge them NEVER BUY ANY TOUR from GetYorGuide
