DONT EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I booked and excursion in Cozumel. The excursion was cancelled due to weather (yes, I understand that they don’t control the weather). My problem is that they made me waste $30 on taxis. Before I left my ship I checked the app to see if it was canceled (it wasn’t). They issued the voucher as still happening 10min before scheduled to start (right before I got in the cab). The tour guide showed me that they had sent a message early letting them know of the cancellation. But “get your guide” didn’t inform me so I WASTED $30 of my hard earned money. …. We had terriable expereince with GetyourGuide.com. We booked the Colón Opera House Guided Tour scheduled for 12 November 2025 at 3:00 pm. We purchased two tickets on 7 February 2025 through their website. So did our friends. We arrived at the venue on time and presented our tickets; however, we were informed that our tickets were invalid. Prior to the tour, we had received reminder emails from GetYourGuide instructing us to bring our passports and arrive by 2:45 pm. On the same day, we also received text messages, stating that the tour had been cancelled due to a protest near the Opera House. Despite this, when we arrived at the site, the tour was clearly proceeding as normal—many participants were entering the theatre while we were denied entry. What a lie they made!!! It is extremely disappointing that we were refused participation after paying in full nine months in advance. It appears that the company failed to secure our tickets, causing us to miss an experience we had planned and travelled from Australia to enjoy. We also attempted to purchase new tickets for another date, but all tours before our return flight on 15 November 2025 were fully booked. We kindly ask them to investigate this matter urgently and provide a prompt resolution. But we never received reply from them. Please don't use this company for your travel!!!

Bij get your guide 5 trips geboekt Trip 1: moesten 30 euro extra betalen voor quad, terwijl in boeking staat inclusief. Echter te plekken hadden we geen anderen keus, niet gemeld want niet direct get your guide fout. Trip 2: kookworkshop. Voedselvergiftiging. Ook niet gemeld. Want niet direct get your guide fout. Hierdoor Trip 3 moeten afzeggen. Niet binnen 24 uur dus geen geld terug. Extra hotel moeten boeken. Trip 4 luchtballon. Werd afgezegd om 8 uur. Trip begon 7 uur. Trip 5. Zijn gewoon nooit opgehaald door organisatie. We hebben geld terug gekregen van de Trip, echter geen onkosten voor de taxi die we moesten regelen. De taxi wilt/ kan geen bon schrijven. Al bij al ontzettend veel geld en tijd. Ze doen wellicht geen goed onderzoek naar de organisaties die ze aanbieden en nemen geen verantwoordelijkheid voor hun fouten, ondanks het enigste wat we vragen de onkosten van taxi. Niet hier boeken

Do not book anything via Get Your Guide. They do not have any customer service so you can end up being out of pocket with no course of action. I booked a Macchu Picchu tour + optional bus tickets and the guide had no idea about the bus tickets. I have emailed Get Your Guide three times and no one has responded - so I am out 60 USD. Finally had to dispute the charge with Amex and still have had no contact from Get Your Guide or the tour operator. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Total SCAM, they charged me for a tour in Dubai that I never booked, I have never been there. There is no way to contact them and they don't verify CC billing zip code. My bank had to backcharge them NEVER BUY ANY TOUR from GetYorGuide

The Guide did not turn up. I spoke to someone on chat who said they could not offer compensation and they closed the chat on me. They said they would send an email when I had informed them I cannot access my emails when abroad.

The company is fine, as long as nothing goes wrong. My wife and I had to pay 30 euros each to enter the area where our guide was to meet us at 9:00 am. 9:00 AM, nothing. Between 9:00 am and 9:30 am I wrote to Get Your Guide on the app and tried to call them. No responce whatsoever! At 9:45 am they wrote an email, with no reference to anything, that our tour had been cancelled. I have spent more than 3 hours since that time trying to get compensated for our loss. They ask many questions, then just fall off the face of the earth. My advice is, DONT USE THEM. I've used Booking.com more often and things have always worked out. If not, they respond and fix things. This company is a good one to avoid. Not only is their customer service horrible, but they waste your time answering questions, to then just be ignored.

I booked a tour on GetYourGuide and accidentally selected the wrong date. I realized it immediately and canceled just 11 minutes after booking, yet they still kept 50% of the total cost (over $100). Their excuse was that the provider had already “reserved a spot and purchased tickets,” but they never provided any evidence of this, even after I asked multiple times. It’s simply not believable that all of that was done within minutes. To make things worse, their system doesn’t allow you to edit or reschedule a booking — the only option is to cancel and instantly lose money. Customer service was completely unhelpful and robotic, repeating the same policy instead of offering any real assistance. I had to book another tour for the correct day, which means I ended up spending a lot more money on these people due to their rigid and unfair system. What’s even shadier is that GetYourGuide makes it very hard for real customers to leave public reviews, which says a lot about how they operate. This company’s policies are unfair, deceptive, and anti-customer. I’ll never use GetYourGuide again — book directly with local providers who actually care about travelers.

Wouldn’t give any star if I had the chance . Paid 50€ for Priority access in Seville to 3 attractions as advertised. Their supplier was Crown Tours . At the meeting point we were told it was access only to one venue the Alcázar . At least a dozen other angry folk were told the same. Crown tours were of no help whatsoever when we all realised we were conned. To top it off the one venue we toured was supposed to be 2 hrs but in actually fact was 50 mins . Customer service have been fobbing me off all week . Absolute disgraceful . Do not book with this company

Get your guide , I had no issues with. It was the tour company that handled the day tour to Alexandria , Oct 8, 2925, from Cairo. Tour said 12 hrs, but took 14.m, and that was for me, others were picked up earlier and then dropped off later.... I suspect an extra he for them at least. Pick up was on time. A"Full meal" for lunch was to he included, but only consisted of a bowl of pasta/ rice(Koshary). Also to be included was a bottle of water, which we had to ask for several times, and then only received it just before lunch, Oct 8, 2025. The tour guide was difficult to understand her English. The driver did a good job, but I think the tires needed a balance alignment, as the van shaked going over 100 kpm. If this van was used daily for this tour, that's about 600 kms each day. And a regular checkup , I think wasn't on their schedule, as the length of the tour was quite long.

BEWARE -we scheduled a tour of Sagrada Familia with Get Your Guide on July 21st for a Sept 22 2025 small group tour. Our tour was cancelled only hour before it was to start. Get your guide simply farms out tours to local ‘agencies’ -in our case CROWN tours. Crown had not even purchased entry tickets for our ‘tour’ -the ‘ticket’ they had sent us in email was not an entry ticket. We contacted Get your Guide -who continued to text us that our tour was meeting and the location , they do ZERO follow up with their contractors and were totally unaware of the cancellation. They could not reschedule us for 5 days and no online tickets were available so we missed the most famous site in Barcelona.

They sent us an email they would be 10 - 15 minutes late. then they never showed and wouldn't respond to our questions as to where they were. They said we weren't there, but we stood in the rain for an hour and they never showed. Would never book with them again.

Did not want to give them a one star. Spent one hour on line with them to no avail. I tried booking 2 trips and they did not go through, but the charge went through. Talking to them was like talking to the wall. None of the customer service people knew what they were doing. Will not use this service ever again!

In August 2025 we booked a snorkelling trip to see manta rays off Nusa Penida through GetYourGuide. GetYourGuide arranged transport with Axe Stone Fast Cruise – the same company whose boat Dolphin 2 recently capsized near Sanur, killing several passengers. Despite this tragedy, GetYourGuide still placed us on the same operator’s vessel. When we learned about the accident we cancelled before boarding; GetYourGuide’s customer‑service team refused any refund. We booked through GetYourGuide because we expected safety vetting and support, but the company put our lives at risk and then valued money over safety. We urge travellers to avoid them until they improve their safety standards and refund policies.

Over priced !!! And for the service we got it was terrible , food was mediocre and buses didn’t have an AC in the desert ! Also seats didn’t recline was extremely uncomfortable for 10 hour one way trip ! So not worth the money ! Given we have paid for a luxury camp and nothing about it was luxury !!

Horrible experience and I never made it to the activity. All the information given to ask questions etc... is not valid. I was asked to go to the ticket counter at the whale watching expedition by the telephone # provided for questions/concerns and that was a waste of time. I was told the ticket counter would call me with refund details if I left my phone number, that was a lie. When I finally reached people, it was only by messages through the app and it was like talking to a wall. I missed the tour by no fault of my own but a ferry that ran very, very late and they had zero sympathy, did not care even a tiny bit, and refused to offer a credit for the following year. I am a single mother with a special needs child, saved for almost 3-years for this trip, and lost a huge chunk of money with these people. I will never recommend them to anyone and I will never use their service again. Worst experience and customer service I have dealt with in my life.
