“We visited the store to purchase several beghaus coats and fleeces for myself and my wife. The staff in the store were very friendly and really brilliant. They supported us with advice and guidance on the items and in bringing the correct sizes from the warehouse. We actually spend way to much in time in the store making up our minds. One of the staff picks this up in our conversation and warned us stays were limited to 2-hrs. Having almost spent this much time in the store he kindly updated their system with our car number plate so we wouldn't get a fine. The fine for overstay is £150. A couple of issues with the visit. A number of the items were either not priced up or incorrectly priced, compared to that on their system; The staff were clear the store would match any offer on their website. However when we went to the till to pay the manager seemed to try and unpick this... this doesn't apply, you can't do this, you can't apply both deals at the same time, etc... all this said in a very offish and arrogant tone, whilst munching on chewing gum. When I showed her the basket on the website and the fact all the deals had been applied... she reluctant applied the deals, "as one off", and was even more stand offish; Having processed the payment for the goods, she stood arrogantly waiting for us to leave. Having bought 5 items she made no attempt to ask whether we wanted a carrier bag, with the purchases piled up on the till. From the point when the payment went through she remained silence... not even a word around "thank you for shopping at ...", have a good day. Again the staff on the shop floor were brilliant... the manager really does need to get a change or attitude or personality....”

“Prices are competitive. Note the main price displayed is after the discount, however the undiscounted price also displayed, albeit in smaller print, so no attempt to mis lead. The staff in the Reading store were very helpful and Kiara on check out helped with checking on line availability of a couple of items.”

“Ordered caravan steps with handrail 2 July 2020. Money taken and email to say we would be advised when in stock. No further communication. Made numberous phone calls and each time told refund could not be processed as IT issue was being investigated. No reply to emails or letters. Local store not interested.”

“I was really happy with my trip to go outdoors everything that we needed was really easy to find and they had plenty of selection to with the different colours and range of walking shoes. I would 100% recommend anyone to go to go outdoors for there outdoor equipment and we are returning this weekend to purchase a coat and walking equipment for our dog Bella. We used the store in Warrington store location 1359.”

“Excellent layout with easy to find items. Good choices, sizes available. Wanted horse riding boots, but wasn't sure of my own judgement. Ben was most helpful, even though he'd only been pony trekking a couple of times! Narrowed down to two. I was hesitant and said I would think about it. No pushy sales tactics, just excellent knowledge from staff.”

“Good sized shopping area with ample space to move around with a pram/buggy or disability aid/chair. Good parking facilities and level access. Good lighting, well displayed stock however some price labels are displayed for the wrong stock here and there, staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. All in all a good experience when went for the 1st time.”

“Would have given them 5 stars and probably should have. They stock a wide variety of stock and generally have the items I want ion stock. Downgraded a star as recently reserved something only to find that they had selected an item similar. In their defense, it was by the same manufacturing and very nearly the same product, but colours differed. Would recommend them to every one.”
