Bought a £200 rent recently during Black Friday event. Tent was paid for and shipped. Delivered by Evri….. to completely the wrong address. No idea where and no sign of it with neighbours or nearby. Evri said contact go outdoors. Go outdoors response was “ we picked it and shipped it. It was delivered by Evri. Claim rejected” So apparently if you order anything it’s at your own risk…. Which is illegal under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act. Don’t waste your time buying anything from these utter scam artists.

I took a head torch back to the Chester branch today. Lady on the till called a manager over to deal with my complaint. TBH he couldn’t have sorted the issue out any better and was extremely helpful.

Ordered item before the end of day paid for next day delivery. Had an email from delivery company,saying they will let me know when item has been collected,and on route for delivering,still haven't heard anything, and going by the reviews I've read,next day delivery is useless,so if I haven't had a delivery by end of day,they will be refunding me my money.

the worst ever customer care in the UK yet. they sold me a bottle of gas without the regulator. I did say at the time it looked different but they said it was new gas and they are all universal. I was right after all, but realised too late when i was already on the isle of Jura with about 40 worth of food to cook on the stove. very soon i realised there was a part missing...the regulator!!. so I could not cook any of the food i bought. Instead I was forced to eat in the the hotel and the restaraunt, the only two places on the island. Paying for 4 people it came to approx £200 for needing to buy food. I went back to the shop and spoke to a "manager or two" not too sure but they said they were managers. Said I would need to get in touch with head office for any compensation, they admitted fault in supplying a gas bottle without a regulator but said they could not do any thing about it. I contacted head office / customer service,,,,a few times. they said i needed to go back to the shop to see what compensation they would give. so off i went back, spoke to one of the so called managers fromthe day before, he went and got yet another manager ( how many managers do they need?) he said it was an honest mistake on their behalf which I believe it was but it was still their fault i am 200 out of pocket. he said they do not do any compensation but offeredd me 20% off my next purchase.....( so if i spent 50 quid I would have received £10 back rom the £200) I refused and went back to head office. The supervisors there told the customer service guy to offer me either £15 gift card ( something the third manager said they do not do) or 25% off my next purchase. nope, i refused. I made it clear at the beginning i was not expecting to get back £200, but I thought £50 gift card would have been suitable for both myself and go go outdoor. If I accepted any of their " goodwill gestures" it would mean I am satisfied with the outcome, which i definitely am not at all. I asked them t ostop bambarding me with messages an emails asking to fill in a customer survey. im still getting them. I have no problem wit hthe way custmoer service handled my calls, they were advised my higher upon their policy of not giving back anything. If they supplied me the gas bottle properly I would have not have had to eat in the hotel or restaurant and the food I bought would not have been wasted. Now I am looking to see what I can do next. so be careful if buying from this mob, make sure you do not have any problems at all, they are not willing to help loyal customers for over 20 years. I will not be back

on hold for half an hour then gave up. have also been fed incorrect information by customer service that led me to make a pointless 2 hour round trip to an in person store.

We were in your Penrith, Cumbria store today and we were helped by Nick he was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t have been more helpful, it’s not often you find this great customer service in retail. Thanks Nick you’re a credit to Go outdoors you will definitely see us back in your store again.

Having waited 2 week s I phoned today to see were my order, which was paid for in full, to be told that the item had been cancelled and I had been credited. My question was how have you credited me when I paid in cash, the response was for me to phone "Customer Service" and they didn't have a number, I should go online to find it. On speaking to customer service the order was cancelled, didn't know why I didn't get an email telling me as such, (I do get daily sales emails though). The only way I can get a credit is to go to the store, a 40 mile round trip., to collect the cash. Absolute joke.

Very bad customer service. Purchased a Portable Power Washer 8 Litre online, Arrived and the spray part of the lance was missing out the box... Phoned Customer services was on the phone 30 minuets and the lady still unable to help or understand what the problem was then put the phone down on me. Note to management listen to the recorded telephone conversation in full and re train

Bought a back pack for Duke of Edinburgh. The bag only got used for 3 days of bronze and three days on silver, by the first day of the gold the shoulder straps had frayed off. The store supervisor and manager both said they couldn’t do anything as it’s 3 years old, even though they could see it was immaculate and understood it was only used for 6 days. The advise to contact customer service was useless as the phone number has been disconnected. Customer service is of no use and the product expensive and unusable.

I purchased a top today.....got home big plastic security tag still on. Never went off when we left the shop. We don't live near the store either....all the guy on the phone said was......bring it back in. What a trail it is when it's not even local.

We brought all our coats, tenting stuff, walking shoes and clothes for years since the kids were small. All had a good experience but Saturday morning we to the Peterborough store (from Boston Lincolnshire)I was going to buy 3 or 2 pairs of trousers and my husband was going to buy walking shoes and my daughter always found something. So I started trying on some trousers then went tried on different ones I thought that was ok thing to do, but the shop assistant didn't they were talking about it on the head set and changing I had put them back. I feel so uncomfortable I found husband and daughter and left with nothing and we never come back.

Would good zero stars if I could. Part of the order arrived yesterday... empty. The other part the tracking hasn't updated since Sunday. They've said it's probably lost but can't do anything about it.

Click and collect for camper items at Harlow store. Excellent fast and friendly service and product advice from lady at checkout. I took out membership as a result. Price competitive too.

customer service could not be worse. It has taken many attempts to get a reply about a refund for a return that was not collected only to be told the refund can only be issued over the phone by giving card payment details again. Isn't this what all the warnings about on line cons are about? When I replied with a query about the refund method I was advised -This message has been automatically closed. So I will try again. I haven't tried chasing up the refund for the item that has now been collected. I had to rearrange & pay again for the second collection. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Had a great experience buying a waterproof coat,the young lady assistant (klaudia ) at the bedford branch was so polite and helpful,she help me choose a coat and made sure it fitted me well,even helped me on with it,wow how nice was that,so polite and what a asset she is for the company, 5 stars for her.

Shocking customer service they sent the wrong item could be 10 days for return then have to wait for refund before I can re order can’t complain as it’s a generic bot I asked for complaints department it no longer receives emails never use them again online
