“Had a great experience buying a waterproof coat,the young lady assistant (klaudia ) at the bedford branch was so polite and helpful,she help me choose a coat and made sure it fitted me well,even helped me on with it,wow how nice was that,so polite and what a asset she is for the company, 5 stars for her.”

“This company should be so proud of the guys they employ at this store!. I have had the pleasure of dealing with 5/6 members of staff whilst trying to have my bike repaired which in all honesty was just out of the warranty period. The guys all did everything in their power to assist and certainly went the extra mile to resolve my issue. They sorted out my issue fully with no big cost to myself and kept me informed at every step of the resolution process. I wish to thank Matty, Lisa, Lissa , Mia & Luke in store and Harry at the customer care team head office . If you speak to the staff correctly they will treat you correctly ! Obvious really !!! Don’t understand negative reviews because these guys will do everything to help you if your patient and understanding 10 out of 10 guys Cheers again👍👍”

“I wanted a pair of trousers meeting certain criteria. I found the need to undo the type of hangers for each pair in order to ascertain the features I required very awkward, as the pockets were obscured from view. If they were on normal hangers, or displayed in a different manner a customer could determine far more easily. However, your assistant Pam at Colchester was exceedingly helpful in advice on the manufacturers styles and materials. She went further in her assistance rarely encountered. Only yesterday, whilst in another shop on the same quest, I had asked a simple question and received a response that was bordering on rudeness.”

“We always make a B line for the Berwick-upon-Tweed store.. we usually find everything we want and need here.. We have bought Boots shoes and clothing from here. Last week we even found some de-icer which saved us a trip elsewhere. Well done to all the staff here. Special thanks to Matty at the till who looked after out items while we were shopping in to Boots.”

“Just bought a sleeping bags from the Fareham branch of Going Outdoors. They had a sale on, and i managed to get the bag at a great price. I am very happy with the purchase. It was a 'Vango nitestar 225.' It had an extreme rating of minus -19 which i am very happy about. A great service by George the shop assistant. Recommended it to a friend who also purchased the same equipment.”

“I have shopped with Go Outdoors for years with no problems but im really cheesed off with them today and will never krder anything online with them again . Ordered a ski jacket for £60 , goggles for £50 and a discount card , total bill £120. Package arrives , I take it from courierand open it , only the ski jacket although theres a delivery note showing goggles should be included. I complain to Go Outdoors within hour of delivery, they reply that theyve checked picking / packing etc and are satisfied that all products were delivered and suggest i make enquiries with family or neighbours . They suggest if im not happy with their decision I can get in touch with my card provider ..so im £50 out of Be very careful when ordering Goods from Go Outdoors”

“We went to penrith to buy footwear. A ember of staff offered to help but we politely declined which was well handled by the member of staff ( SCOTTISH PERSON ) . we looked at lots of possibilities and possibly mixed up a display. Eventually we asked for help and Michelle cheerfully assisted to find the right shoe in the right size. Altogether this was a relaxed experience with lots of choice and very cheerful helpful staff.”

“Went to go outdoors in Edinburgh was served by a guy called Johnny he went above and beyond helping us picking out sleeping bags beds cookers gas chatting about othere products with my brother and sister in law as they have not been camping this resulted in me by another bed which I am dying to try out thank you again Johnny”
