No point even reading Trustpilot , most dishonest review place going , if Go outdoors has scored 4.6 out of 5 then there must be a million bad reviews Trustpilot haven't added onto the scoring system , in stock items aren't in stock , they claim anything that isn't available , you wil be notified , total lies , I made one largeish order , all classed as "Instock" , it got split into 4 seperate orders , the 4th delivery didn't even show up on the order at all despite it being on my original order sheet , so over 3w weeks to get one simple order completed . Just take a look how good their website is , why do you sign up to be a member , so you can check stuff and previous orders , don't make me laugh , take a look for yourself , go into "Your account" and look for "previous orders" you see it clearly stated that that section doesn't work, why the hell not , recent problem caused it ????? Not a hope in hell it's been broken since 2019 . I actually had a young lad with me who worked for GO Outdoors dfor a while, he even said he's never worked at such a disorganized place in all his life, so a score of 4,6 on Trustpilot, they must be just as full of BS as G O are , I made that one order so I got mt £5 discount card fund back , have one of my debit cards stoired on their website , not on your nelly in a million years

We ordered some storage boxes that arrived very badly damaged. The first interaction was good in terms of destroy the damaged boxes and we will send you new ones or refund. We went for the boxes being resent. These arrived promptly even more badly damaged than the first lot, the courier refused to take them back even though I said I would not accept the delivery " as it had gone off his machine" - wouldn't get paid for the delivery more like....but I digress...customer service then gave me the option of returning to my nearest store ( a 50 minute round trip) OR paying for the return at one of the collection points...I sent pictures proving the damage and the first time was offered a refund, why do I now have to pay either in petrol or physically to send them back....more importantly why was I made to accept a substandard product on delivery. Shame as store experiences on the whole good

My experience when ordering online was bizarre, the biggest issue here is delivery of the 1 coat I had ordered (using our mates Evri who are useless) any item you are being sent via Evri, don't expect to get it. I received 2 updates from Go Outdoors (not Evri) to firstly state my order was delayed, no surprise there, then another notification to advise they were having to split my order into 2....how were they planning on splitting 1 coat into 2 separate orders! mind boggling. I had some questions around the membership which didn't initially get answered until I had to literally spell it out so not impressed at all with Go Outdoors and would not use them again, even though I did purchase the membership.

I ordered online and they 2 items that were completely the wrong size and colour - but there is no option to return them for free, and they do not reimburse postage costs (even though it was their mistake causing me to return!) It's a ridiculous company, the whole 'Go outdoors card' thing is an absolute racket and they know it - it's just an excuse to slap an extra five quid on top of every order, because they know nobody carries the bloody card around with them at all times

Ordered a table on the 1st of August for camping and it still hasn't arrived and we go camping in a couple or days . Wish i Wouldham known how long it was going to take I'd have got one from elsewhere

Been waiting for over a week and contacted customer service via twitter who said my items had been delivered on Saturday & awaiting to be scanned in by the store. I called Sunday morning & was told that one pair had been cancelled but they didn't notify me of this and like another review said I wouldn't have known unless I'd called the store. The guy on the phone was very helpful and checked to see if they had them but please management sort out the your system as my other order is not in store and in still in transit?? 😡

Used to be a time when you could buy Quality clothing that lasts now it turns to rags after months whether it's Berghaus, Peter storm what ever

As said by others, nice stores and staff; but purchasing online useless. Bought a Tilley wool fedora for my husband for Christmas, but was sent a Sealskin roll-cuff toque that cost 1/2 the price. Sold out of the Tilley size by the time I called to complain, and they were going to have me pay the return postage! I had to ask for a return postage code! Ended up having to pay 34% more for the same item on another site. I have previously bought online to collect in store, only to have the store call me right before collection to say items not in stock…despite money having been taken. Refunded, of course; but shouldn’t sell if there’s no stock!

What a way to run a business, NOT!! Last 2 orders have taken weeks to arrive, my last order never appearing Apparently they didn't know about the order in the warehouse so if I hadn't have rung to see where it was I would never have received it. Bought items from other online camping companies recently with no problems so I suggest you try elsewhere

Ordered 3 items online, keep receiving texts to say they were ready for collection however, I was away for a couple of days but still in time for the collection. I picked the package up (50 mile round trip) only to find when I got home 1 item was missing, I contacted the store who told me that I needed to contact Customer Services which I did, the girl I spoke to couldn’t have been less interested. I was sent a form in PDF format which I couldn’t edit neither could I print it off as I don’t have a printer. Apparently they cannot carry out an investigation without a form which tells them exactly what I said on the phone. I don’t need this hassle and certainly don’t have the time to sort out work arounds to rectify their error. A poor service from a poor organisation. I absolutely will not order online from them again.

Ordered walking shoes via website after a few days had a message saying they did not have stock and would refund as this was a birthday present this was to say the least very disappointing refund came through in a couple of days which is the only good thing I can say about the experience!!

Never really had a problem with them before but they seem to be in total chaos now. Ordered 11 items, 3 eventually arrived. Some have been refunded. No idea which. Still missing either some money or some items and no one at Go Outdoors will tell me which. I am now trying to return one item but their postcode isn't recognised by Hermes so I can't!!

The poole store has got serious security issues, they need to get some tips from Cotswolds who let their loyal customers shop in peace. Instead the assistants at Go outdoors follow you around pick your items up in seconds and take them as if their abandoned its a horrendous experience to shop.

Bought a pair of karrimore trainers from Basingstoke marked as 80 pound but 30 if we had a discount card 5 pounds .get home to find that sports direct have them for 34.99 we no discount card ,total con I can find no evidence these trainers were 80 pound . I am taking this up with trading standards.

Completely unethical selling online. There was nothing about a discount card price online that I could see and definitely not on the confirmation email with the price clearly £12. Drove half an hour to collect the item, but at till discovered it's £20, even though at home again I see it's actually £18 with discount card online. First time I've used this shop and very disappointed with this clear con. Only reason it gets two stars is because, after asking how I complain, I was given a free discount card by the assistant manager and allowed me to buy for £12. Without doubt, this is a deliberate con and probably designed to get and sell personal details. This had better be a genuine product!

They say they will beat any price but (surprise surprise) when I get to the till, ‘oh no, that site isn’t included’!!! I reluctantly purchased the winter down coat anyway as I needed it quickly, for £200 I expected a decent quality coat, I’ve only had it a week and can’t believe how many feathers have come out already! Hence to say when I return home my coat also will be getting returned! It is never a busy store, wonder why!! Too expensive for what you get plus they don’t stick to their word!
