“I've been using kester 44 core 63/37 for as long as I've been soldering, although usually in .031 diameter. I bought this larger diameter for doing trailer and flatbed wiring at work, it's better suited to soldering 14ga and larger together. It wets well, is non-corrosive, and the eutectic alloy hardens immediately which is a must in cramped conditions doing solder splices.”
