"Appalling company! Took possession of vehicle at Murcia airport. Took video of condition.The video clearly shows me pointing out two small scratches to the boot area. The lady was not concerned. On return of the vehicle she now made a great deal of the two scratches and I was charged for the damage. This took place in June 2025. We are now in September and I have not received a satisfactory response to my complaint. I use Murciaat least three times a year. I will not be using Goldcar again and I strongly advise you to go to another company."

"They tried to charge me weeks after my hire was over for proven pre-existing damage (I had the stamped damage report and photos from collection to prove it). When I went to the airport directly to query this the woman at the desk refused to look at my documentation (stamped by her!), verbally abused me, refused to give me her name when asked, then attempted to snatch my phone out of my hand when I said i'd be taken a picture of her to make a complaint. She then processed the payment from my card while I was stood there despite me having 14 days to dispute the payment (this was on day 1). Avoid at all costs. Truly these people are scammers. Use OK Mobility instead who are fantastic (and usually cheaper)"
