“I booked an estate car with goldcar Alicante airport .
It was very reasonably priced , I didn’t take full cover so the deposit was blocked on my credit card .
On return , the car was checked over and given the all clear .
The deposit was removed from my card pending payment the very next day .
All in all a perfect experience.
I read so many bad reviews so was concerned but I had absolutely no problems at all .
Will use again .”
“Appalling company! Took possession of vehicle at Murcia airport. Took video of condition.The video clearly shows me pointing out two small scratches to the boot area. The lady was not concerned. On return of the vehicle she now made a great deal of the two scratches and I was charged for the damage. This took place in June 2025. We are now in September and I have not received a satisfactory response to my complaint. I use Murciaat least three times a year. I will not be using Goldcar again and I strongly advise you to go to another company.”
“Used these guys in Malaga on a recent trip and was pleasantly surprised. Nico at the service counter was great. He explained everything to me from getting our car, to returning it, making sure we had contact numbers for roadside assistance and making sure we understood what fuel the car took.
That car was great, clean and the return process was just as simple. Highly recommend. If you see Nico at the counter send him our regards.”
“Contrary to all the bad reviews here and ther, i just return a car i rented in Bolonga Italy and i am very happy. They behave very politly on the hiring prosses. I returned the car early in the morning at 5:00 AM, missed the entrance to their place, i left the car in the public parking, returned the keys to the hole at the office. Being anxious what will happend i found out after landing that every thing was OK. they didn't over charge. I was releaved and will continue to rent at Goldcar (they are really cheap)”
