“I ordered three Goose Creek candles that were shipped on February 9 and they are sitting in Hong Kong. I had no idea they were coming from China or I never would have ordered from this company. Customer service is not helpful so don't bother contacting them!”
“I love the smell, and for the most part they're great. But I noticed that the Forest Pine Tree 3 wick candle became incredibly smokey halfway through, and the design on the outside of the glass started to melt.”
“I've been ordering large quantities of candles for over 2 yrs now and never had a complaint until last fall. I found the candle quality to be grossly inconsistent. Additionally, I purchased Pillsbury Candles in mass and the quality and burn time was unacceptable to say the least. Betty Crocker a bit better but certainly not up to GC standards. I emailed a complaint and got a lame apology and a $certificate lol...albeit my orders average well over $200 several times a yr. I replied that it was an insult, the reply "here's a $10 certificate "...additionally GC refuses to take any responsibility for Pillsbury or Crocker candles although legally they are the representative of them..the last insult "you should buy one candle at a time" lol really! I will not longer buy from them unless they make this right. Sad”

I am so thrilled that I was introduced to goose Creek. They will forever be my purchase for candles. They smell amazing. Their customer service rocks best I’ve ever had.”
“What I like about them they don't have lead wicks, and are made of soy. They are not toxic like Yankee and bath and body works candles. The majority of the candles and body care I've received from them has been great. I'm sorry to see the bad reviews, because over the last 3 years, I've had no complaints about what I've gotten.”
“I have been ordering these candles since I first saw an ad 4 years ago. I have always loved these candles, great throw, amazing scents, and great burn time. In the last few months I have placed 3 orders. I noticed the wicks were not evenly placed, and the scent wasn’t as strong as previously (I have been buying Apple Bourbon for a couple of years). While it used to make a whole level in my house smell amazing, I can barely tell the candle is even lit now. The candles burn faster than they did before. Overall in 4 years, I have placed a total of 27 orders. In the last few months, I have not received updates for orders running late which I always have in the past. I have received multiple broke candles in the last 2 orders. While I realize the broken ones are not their fault, replacing them is important. I have never had an issue with a replacement until today when I sent a picture of a broken candle in the packaging due to the multiple shards of glass (easily visible in the picture). It was not good enough for them, they wanted to see the candle out of the box which I wasn’t willing to do due to the tiny pieces of glass. I tried uploading the picture to this review, it won’t let me. Sadly, quality is definitely not a priority anymore and I will have to find a new candle company.”
“I have a bad first experience. I ordered 2 candles that took forever to arrive, when they were finally delivered ,my candles were nowhere to be found:) apparently UPS picked them up to return to the sender for some kind of policy in my apt complex.
I Contacted them (GC) and they never gave me a solution or workaround bc apparently the candles were not returned to them and I lost my candles and money...”
“I LOVE these candles. They are wonderful and although I have (very sadly) had issues with broken candles it was never Goose Creeks fault as they were packaged in a sturdy manner. It was a busy overwhelmed delivery company, ( I will not name) that delivered them in a literally destroyed box. I sent photographs to Goose Creek AS DIRECTED by their policy and they rapidly replaced the damaged items FREE. I used to purchase from an Ohio company but they shrunk their products and increased the price so now I only buy from Goose Creek. I always buy in bulk and take advantage of sales. They have me for life with these fabulous scents and caring Customer Service. Negative Nellies either have ZERO sense of smell or don't follow the return/damaged goods directives. TY for always marketing a superior product, Goose Creek!!!”

“They have a great scent choice, however it seems they have changed or redone their formulas somehow. I had at least 3 that were aromatic for about 8-10 minutes before, no more scent. I let them know, and received a e-gift card for the bad candles. I said I would never buy them again, but they took care of me, so I definitely will.”
