I love Gousto and their meals. I have tried other meal boxes but the triumph of Gousto is that the meals are delicious and you only need to make a final decision a matter of days before and as a pescatarian, and Gousto gives me more choice. However the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I would like the opportunity to have more than 4 meals delivered (some allow 6).

Gousto recipes are varied and delicious! The easy to follow cards come with each recipe and both my husband and I enjoy cooking as a result! The measured out ingredients means there is no waste. We love it!

Gousto has been a lifesaver during this pandemic and before as a busy working mum of 2 now 3 children. With a newborn and 2 kids at home I have found myself struggling to meal plan so the fact I can get a weeks worth of meals delivered to my door with a click of a button is such a help. All the ingredients are fresh and healthy. I also love that the packaging is environmentally friendly.

Gousto takes the time and effort out of cooking and meal planning. Before we started using them I had definitely fallen out of love with cooking, and was falling back on the same old recipes time after time. Now we are cooking more, and eating better.

We really like Gousto, but every now and again our ingredients aren't the best quality. We mainly suffer with carrots - they always seem to be very bendy! Would like to see more healthy options too if possible.

Makes weekday cooking so much easier! I like being able to try a range of recipes and it is fantastic being able to plan mes in advance.

I looked at the Gousto website to see prices for a family member, did not press check out yet 4 meals are being delivered to me today. Contacted customer support who did not help at all and told me I placed an order when I know I did not. Why auto checkout if you have food in your cart? I was just price checking and now it is going to go to waste. Also when I send further emails to them it just says "Sorry we did not receive your email"

Really, really gone down hill. Have been using for years yet the last few months I've had rotten chicken and missing items in the last three boxes. I was told I'd be given a meal for free. This never happened. I also was one of the people to have the mysterious box turn up, unordered !! I'm off to Hello Fresh.

We have used Gousto for the past few months, having boxes most weeks up to the lockdown. Since then we haven’t had boxes due to the reduced menu. Yesterday, I noticed that a payment was pending to Gousto and an order had been placed with three meals we would not like. I contacted Gousto and was told that chefs choose the menus if you don’t (even though that hasn’t happened in the previous four months at all) and it was too late to cancel. I didn’t receive and email to tell me a box was on it’s way. I requested this be sent to a charity or organisation where vulnerable people could make use of the meals but was told it couldn’t be changed, even though delivery isn’t scheduled for another two days. Very disappointed as previous meals were on the whole very nice.

Similar to other reviews, not ordered anything for months and out of the blue a charge on my account and a food box due for delivery. Seems like the feel they can do what they want, when they want and take your money for it.

Never had any delivery issues, any changes to orders are always notified via email at least a few days in advance. Recipes are delicious & they compensated me immediately the one time there was a stock cube missing.

I closed my account in 2019 as items where always missing and/or damaged, food goes out of date within a day of receiving order and overall poor service. Out of the blue I now have a box of food I didn't order being delivered tomorrow and they have taken payment, all of this has been done without my agreement and they have refused a refund. Emanuel customer service person I spoke to blamed me and covid-19 for this. HE said there was no errors then told me about the errors and just kept changing the story. I'm now having to go through my bank disputes team to get my money back. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY. If you call them get the ticket number for the call as they are recorded and the ticket number allows you to get a copy of the recording of your call. Dont email as they deny receipt of them.

We have been using Gousto after it was recommended by family. We have 4 meals a week and they have all been delicious. The portion sizes are generous & well balanced. The packaging is good so everything has arrived in good, fresh condition. The recipe cards are easy to follow and the timings work. Today I had a problem with the website so used the chat help; my order was reinstated in under 2 minutes by a very polite & helpful person. I cannot fault Gousto and am cooking much nicer food 4 times a week!

Messed up all my orders. Ingredients missing, meat only in date by one or 2 days yet I have 4 ‘fresh’ meals to eat in 2 days. Offered £5 yet it would cost much more than this to replace. Not looking after loyal customers, taking in more than they can cope with and on top reducing the menus by half. Very disappointing and Not good.

I was a customer of Gousto before all this pandemic and was loyal to weekly orders. Yet it seems greed has taken over and they are tying to take on more and more customers even though they often (almost each order) miss items, send inadequate meat etc. Very disappointing. I am trying hello fresh next week now.

The meat sent to me yesterday had one days shelf life. The things are terrible, not only do they smell, they are little bits of chicken and not a complete thigh. I get these at least once a week and always the same as though they are off cuts rather than a full chicken thigh. Don’t look nice.

We have been loyal gousto customers for 2 years during which time we’ve received no rewards/discounts (which I know other recipe box customers get) but have been surprised to see that throughout the corona crisis we simply been unable to order any meals as priority has been given to new customers? This is not the way to reward loyalty Gousto and you need to get it sorted or you’ll be losing more customers than just us.

As a loyal customer of Gousto since they started trading who orders a box every week, they have decided to take on a huge number of new customers and dump their loyal ones with no delivery slots, well I hope your new customers will continue with you when this is all over !

My box arrived today without the full set of ingredients for ANY of the meals I ordered. They offered to credit my account with £5 but it’s going to cost more than that to replace the missing ingredients! That’s if I can find them at all! It’s obvious they are struggling to cope with the increased in demand. very disappointing

They offered to credit my account £5 but after looking into realised that it would cost more than this to replace the missing items! That of course is if I can get them at all. Looks very much like they can’t cope with the increase in demand (had a look at the previous reviews) so I wouldn’t recommend if to you need a reliable service because you are in isolation.
