The box arrived today without the full ingredients for ANY of the meals. They offered to credit my account £5 but after looking into realised that it would cost more than this to replace the missing items! That of course is if I can get them at all. Looks very much like they can’t cope with the increase in demand (had a look at the previous reviews) so I wouldn’t recommend if to you need a reliable service because you are in isolation.

Another company who doesn’t look after their loyal customers. Very disappointed with you service and when you need your local customers back, I hope they shop somewhere different.

I have been using gousto for nearly two months, having recommended lots of people I was informed today that my account was out on pause which I did not do! And now I won’t be receiving any more boxes at this time with everything going on! Great the whole reason I signed up to this was because I’m heavily pregnant and I know I would always have healthy food in for my family! And now I don’t have anything, yet all the people I have recommended are enjoy there boxes I’m here with NOTHING! I must also say my last box I was also kind enough to delay my box by 2 days to help them out with this busy period! Not good customer service atal!!! I have also tried to sort this via email, live chat and phone!

Have been having two deliveries weekly for past 14 months. Yesterday they sent me an email thanking me for my loyalty. Today cannot order as they say my subscription was paused last year! Customer service not empathetic at all. Really on delivery because in that age group for self isolation

My box was stolen and the company refused to replace it, so I had no meals while being stuck self-isolating. Rude and inconsiderate

Have been a regular customer and have always really enjoyed the boxes. Today I was emailed to say there had been an issue with our payment, there was no obvious cause for this and the payment was made successfully within a few minutes of receiving the email. However a future box has been cancelled as a result and I have been advised there is no way to reinstate it "due to high demand" New customers have signed up so it appears nothing can be done to help existing customers. With regret I have cancelled our subscription - not good enough Gousto!

Have been gousto customer for well over a year... Back from holiday and no deliveries available... expected loyal customers to be preferential regarding deliveries.... obviously not the case.... Will remember this when deliveries return to normal. You are just a number to them.....

Don’t waste your time placing an order cos they have stopped this service. Would have been helpful to state this on website before I wasted time putting together an order.

The service itself is fine, but if you run into a problem the customer service department is extremely unhelpful. The staff obviously have targets to hit and this comes across in the way you're dealt with if you call them. The method of ordering from Gousto is not secure enough. My account was hacked through my email, and the hacker placed a huge order to the value of over £100, different to my usual subscription, to be sent to a different address. They changed my contact details so I had no idea, I randomly checked the app and saw this huge order. By the time I realised and called Gousto, they said it was too late to cancel and that I couldn't redirect the order despite the fact the money had been taken from my credit card. They said I had to call the bank and ask for a refund. Surely if a massive order with loads of extras is placed to a new address, and contact details changed, there should be a mechanism to notify the account holder so that they can verify the changes are legitimate - and if they are notified it has happened it is ridiculous that they can't somehow stop the order. They say they are trying to protect the environment, but letting a huge order be delivered to someone who has committed fraud is proof they don't mean what they say. I essentially paid for an order I didn't want and couldn't stop, when all they had to do is contact the warehouse or the courier and cancel it. It's really put me off the company and I am going to delete my account as I don't think it is secure enough and customer services are very unwilling to help when something goes wrong. Will use a different meal delivery service instead.

My box didn’t arrive. Customer service is shocking! Very rude and condescending. Can’t have a refund for 3/5 business days. Leaving me with no food for the week and out of pocket until I’m refunded.

Just received rotten chicken and the customer service team just kept talking over me. No concern about customer safety or an urgent product recall. I will be contacting food trading standards and then perhaps they will take it seriously.

Customer service is terrible have had to boxes delivered even though my account is paused I contacted..them was told some one would email me back. They didn't now I have to pay for their mistake

Wouldn’t recommend, had 3 boxes. In every box part/all meat was off and smelt so rancid. The dishes aren’t even that good and portion size not great either. They also didn’t deliver a box, when I questioned the customer service team didn’t even offer to send next day.

Absolutely terrible service and a terrible company never will I ever use you again such a lack of communication which resulted in me never actually receiving my box for the week!!!!! I will recommend that all of my family and friends NEVER use you!! So so disappointed with your service just terrible!

First box didn't arrive. After being told it had been returned to sender and to contact Gousto, I contacted them for them to tell me to contact Yodel. A lot of hassle for something that's meant to ease and straight forward. Finally after Gousto telling me my box wouldn't ever arrive, they said they would give me a refund and 50% of my next box. No offer of sending out a replacement, I am now having to wait for refund to come back into bank account, no meals that I had ordered for the week a head and the hassle of having to reorder. I don't see why I should have to be put out and inconvenienced like this. It leaves families with no meals and no money to purchase alternatives. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend!!!!

ordered my first box to be delivered it didnt arrive did an online chat with them the girl said i would be compensated did an online chat with them again today as they didnt get back to me said they would give me my money back didnt offer an alternative to deliver my boxes but asked about compensation said they would give me 30% but i get that anyway until end of march wont use them again
