“Ordered a Marin DSX 2 bike through GovVelo.com and it was shipped to my home. The bike was well packed with one minor scuffing on the frame. Unpacking the bike took 5 minutes and assembly took less than 15 minutes. Dropped in the seat & post, connected the front wheel, and lastly connected & tightened the handlebars - simple work. Was off and riding in under a half hour, no further adjustments were needed. Brakes and gears worked flawlessly out of the box. It is also appreciated that GovVelo supports our military, veterans, and first-responders. Thanks GovVelo!”

“This company is shady. I ordered a 2022 Marin bike and they sent me the 2021 model. The label clearly indicates it is 2021. The invoice I received after placing the order indicates I should get a 2022 model. After numerous calls and emails, they keep claiming it is actually 2022, yet have not provided any proof of this, only a heavily redacted screenshot with a general skew number, not anything specific to my frame number. "Daniel" from the company called and said he would put me in contact with an executive account rep from Marin. When I asked for this info and who it was specifically he started to backtrack and say I can't talk to them. He then just gave me a bogus number (800-222-7757) that isn't part of Marin. He also claimed it was 2022 because they have been out of stock. This is not accurate as I've been looking at this bike for at least two months and has always been in stock. Either he's lying or their inventory system falsly indicates when they don't have stock. Avoid this company at all costs.”

Marin informed us that they confirmed to you the information we provided in regards to your concern about the model year. They also confirmed the date of manufacture of the specific bike you received as falling in the 2022 model year production cycle. “Customer Service is top notch! I could buy this bike anywhere. I ordered a bike and it was the wrong one got shipped. Human error. Stuff happens. When I called to report the issue, I got a live person on the phone and she was super helpful. We were able to talk through the issue and get it resolved with no hassle, no drama, and no being on hold for hours at a time. It’s refreshing to know there’s still good businesses out there who employ good people, and take care of their customers. Thank you GovVelo! You have a customer for life.”
