hit a pot hole and tyre burst on28th jan. rang green flag for assistance. i was told to ring my insurance company. what ????? having demanded assistance got nowhere . i said no help ill cancel my policy. response was ok then she put phone down . im still aghast. i think a couple of letters to newspapers tomorrow get this out in the open. alan didsbury

Ordered an item in November which is STILL NOT DELIVERED, when contacted they informed me the item was out of stock but had not bothered to tell me that themselves, was then told stock would be in within a week. It wasn't but again failed to bother to tell me this. Terrible customer service, now trying to get a full refund from this shockingly badly handled company!

They are the worst possible company to get breakdown cover with. I broke some an hour and half away from where I live. I was in a place I didn’t know and I was on my own. They left me stranded for 9 hours because they wouldn’t come and help me untill I paid £150 because apparently I gave them the wrong address when I didn’t. I was left for 9 hours with no food or drink or anywhere to go. It was 9:45pm before a family member was able to come and fix my tyre so I didn’t get home till nearly 12am and I was alone for all that time. They didn’t care one bit. I started a complaint and they won’t do anything about it saying they haven’t done anything wrong when they 100% have. DO NOT go with green flag or you will never get your car fixed and you’ll be left stranded for 9hours like I was. To state that they care about their customers and their safety is the biggest lie because young girls like myself get left in the dark in places they don’t know

had a policy unfortunately our car broke down and it was beyond repair timing chain snapped 8k bill .so we cancled policy month later got a letter why had we cancled d/d e mailed explained what we had done . month went on got threatening letter called was on phone over an hour all I was trying to do was to pay the balance on letter but no one would take the payment why ??? when they sent me letter asking for the payment .they said had to send me another cancelation letter wonder why think i know before it comes i guarantee the next figure will be more .

Bought a bike seat from them. They have no intention of delivering on time. There customer service team says it is acceptable to falsely advertise a delivery time. There has been on communication from them until 7 days after i purchased the seat. Only to be told that it wont arrive for another week. When i phoned to complain they said that it would probably be longer than that. I have noticed that they are still taking orders for the seat but it is now gone up in price. Still not got it and still being lied too. COVID 19 is seemingly perfect excuse for them to con customers by falsely advertising delivery times that they know and have known for a long time that they cant meet. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Even if it means paying a few pounds extra at least you will get the product you payed for on time

In these difficult times many businesses are struggling with fulfilling orders. I ordered a cycle helmet and two weeks after it should have been delivered I rang to enquire it's whereabouts. Phil answered and couldn't have been more helpful.unfortunately something had gone wrong and what I ordered was now out of stock. Phil arranged an acceptable replacement and I received it next day. Things do go wrong ,especially in the current climate but I judge a business on how it corrects the situation and in this case, the customer service was excellent.

I have ordered child bike seat and have been waiting over nearly 3 weeks for delivery. I have sent several emails and received one back saying parcel will be with me on the day...still nothing and my emails about cancelling ignored! I will make sure non of the people I know will ever use their services as for now no parcel and no money for nearly 3 weeks!!!

Total joke phoned at 1130am First available technician 12.44 then another text to say ETA 13.40 Technician couldnt fix and says recovery truck will be here in around 30mm that was at 2.20 Still waiting at 5.10 to get another ETA of 6.10 nearly 7 hours and still Waiting in a cold van

What a appalling service provided by them. Intitial they told us to come in 60 mins and there were no signs for 3 hrs. My wife was waiting in the cold for 3 hours and they still were saying thay its really busy and they cannot make it anything earlier. On calling them and again they said we dont have a choice or we have to cancell the callout and have to do recover some other time It was even when being told that the baby was home and after that time nobidy will be there to baby sit her. They use 3rd party services and dont have their own vehicles so they r dependent on other companies and in no control of the call out. They wont even change a service provider on the call out once assigned.

Really bad service. They wouldn't remove my car wheel so that I could take it for repair. Green Flag insisted that they transported the car to the repairer. How stupid - It would have needed a new tyre and possibly a new wheel if I had let them move my car to their transporter.

their policy is similar to yours but they try to increase the premium by about 25% each year. when i rang up to complain they offered me 10% off, (still a 15% increase) i reminded them on line it was even cheaper, they said they would honour that price. i told them i would not renew for trying to rip me off. their agents are on commission.

Woefully inadequate from start to finish. I have now got breakdown cover with the RAC with my Tesco motor insurance. I'd been with GF for several years and never once had a call out until Easter weekend. They were unable to locate us despite us giving them the details from a driver location sign. It was about 3-4 hours before they even got to us and then they informed us that we would have to pay for our own transport home. After my initial phone call to summon help at around 4pm we finally arrived home (which is 70 miles away) after midnight and £300 poorer. It's worth paying a bit more and going with a company who won't let you down.

First of all calling up to ask for assistance was very easy and the operator was very helpful. That’s the positive part after that it went down hill, the guy came out to assess the problem and said I needed a new water pump urgently and this needed resolving ASAP. Along with the 28 day policy they won’t come out if you do not get the work fixed. As a heavily pregnant mum to be, I called my garage at the earliest opportunity and they could not fit me in. I managed to source a mechanic from click mechanic who managed to come out within 2 days. Only problem is you have to pay for everything in advance. As green flag were 100% sure it was the water pump I felt confident this was what was wrong. The mechanic came and I explained what had Happened and he said it’s not your water pump and how would the guy know without removing behind your engine. The problem was the water housing which is a different part and different cost altogether. So not only had I paid for something I did not need I also then needed to pay additional costs to actually get my car back on the road. Have emailed green flag with my complaint and what can I say customer service is shocking and they have not taken any blame and said the guy who came out would of only advised a problem!! Surely if an experienced person gives you advice you take it as you trust them. I have lost trust in green flag, they have not been helpful at all and just keep saying it’s one of those things these things happen!!!! Very poor service!!

My car broke down on Tuesday and I was so relieved the green flag engineer turned up very quickly, was very friendly and encouraging about my car, and got me on the road within half an hour as he just had the part I needed! great service! thanks

Very disappointed only used them once in 3 yrs. and the person they sent didn't have a clue, it ended costing me £45 and the problem was a button pressed by mistake.
