“Given stars solely for Abdul at the Heathrow branch as he was very professional
However a large pre auth fee that is yet to come off my account
The site to collect your car is at a hotel at Holiday Inn M4 , there was no buses so ended up shelling out an extra £50 back and forth on taxis to and from terminal
Also the hotel has been given over to asylum seekers and there are police cars parked so going to get the car is an intimidating experience, not the asylum seekers intimidating me , just the added security so you feel you’re entering a prison camp
All in all I doubt I would use Green Motion again”
“I arrived a day late for my pre-paid two week hire to be told that as a 'no show' the car was no longer available.
I therfore had to hire another car at cost.
I subsequently followed the GM complaints process (ref 2707357) to be informed that my complaint was groundless.
What a scam.”
“Good morning dear Green Motion,
I would like to express my thanks for the excellent service provided by the Green Motion team, the service was exceptional, the staff is very cordial and the vehicles are super clean.
Only, I disagree with the damage policy, in which I did not find in any document provided by the company the value of 160.00 pounds for a small scratch on the vehicle wheel. I think the price is too abusive for such a friendly and professional company.
Regarding the receptionist of the vehicle, Mr. Michael, I would like to congratulate you on your excellent service.
Best wishes and I hope everyone is doing well.
A big hug, won a customer for life.
The service rate was Good but rate for damage was so expensive.
Kind Regards | Cumprimentos

“The bus to the Green motion office at Stansted only runs twice each hour, so if you just miss it you've a half hour wait. The 'gentleman' in the office at the Novotel in Stansted was trying the hard sell, wanting to push me into buying insurance and barking at me when I said I wanted like for like in terms of fuel 'so you don't even want to listen to your options?'. It was too dark to check the car for damage in the car park but luckily I checked it the next morning and sent a photo before 10am. I won't use Greenmotion again because I didn't feel comfortable with the manner and tone of the staff and as a lone female I would prefer to be in a better lit busier rental situation.”
“The waiting queue to pick up a pre booked rental car was huge, no free parking for customers. When I finally got to be seen, a very rude lady requested 2 forms of ID (who does this?!) and a proof of address, when their confirmation email specifically listed:
Things to remember when picking up your car:
• Your voucher
• A valid credit card in the main drivers name
• Your Driving Licence
The rude attendant said that this extra information was printed in the voucher linked on the confirmation, but I showed her that their link didn't even work so this information was unavailable. She eventually accepted this with the presentation of an old garage invoice for a proof of address (when the address is right there on the Driver's Licence!).
I guess you get what you pay for… At least the car was brand new and very good.”
