We had asked for meet and greet at Cape Town domestic but no one met us. We had to ask where the counter was and then eventually someone pointed out the Green Motion rep. She was making no effort to find us and was a long way from domestic arrivals. She took us up to the garage and the gentleman who dealt with us was extremely helpful and almost made us forget the lack of communication at the beginning. The car went well and dropoff was fine.

The vehicle we hired was excellent for our two week holiday in Scotland. Pick up took an hour negotiating fees and costs made through Economy Car Rentals - their initial deposit was not included in the car rental price, so beware this charge. Insurance from Green Motion was, in my opinion, extremely costly to reduce excess down to 400 pounds (the lowest available) from 2,000 plus pounds. Booking included a free second driver which Green Motion charged anyway and wound not refund when queried. Drop off was very impersonal and vague regarding matters of potential damage costs (which there was none) - could foresee abuse of the process and was very unprofessional. Overall, good vehicle, hidden costs, poor return process and unwillingness to refund obvious overcharge.

Nice car, easy to rent. But I’m still missing the refund of the deposit of 1505£ - I picked up the rental car on May 3rd.

The price of car hire was reasonable and fair. The lady meeting us was a very happy and cheerful lady and is a really good ambassador for Green Motion. She was pleasant and had lots to talk about. Great understanding of the English language. The only negative aspect of the hire is that the transfer vehicle was coloured yellow and only had a small Green Motion sticker on its side. (Sounds a bit petty but important for some). This made the vehicle difficult to identify when coming out of the arrivals lounge. It was also parked quite some distance away which made it difficult for someone with walking difficulties. Maybe better & bigger signs would be useful and maybe even using a green coloured van!!!

Service and speed vere good. However, the car delivered was not the class booked. I rented Nissan Pulsar or similar and got Nissan Micra, which is a smaller car. As it was the only one available, I accepted it to get on my way. The car was not clean outside. It looked like it had been parked under some trees that drop resin. Tire pressure warning light was on. I called about it and was told to ignore it. This should have been told at delivery or better still put right before. Caution was charged outright on the credit card. Normal practice is to block the amount, not charge it.

Generally good. Price every competitive. Long wait (over an hour) to pick up the car which wasn't what I had ordered, but the replacement was fine. Final inspection picked up a scratch which wasn't on their form, I had a photo of the scratch before I took delivery of the car, just as well. Lots of scratches on the car. Car not full of fuel on delivery, although the gauge said it was, returned full. Constant warning to say the car needed a service.

Price was OK. Between the bus wait & the wait for the car process, it took longer to get the car than the flight from Portugal.

My only issue is having to wait for a bus for the pick up/return to the office. Depending on when you get to the bus terminal you could be waiting half an hour with 40+ people in front of you. This means a line of people getting cars..it took me longer to get the car than my actual flight from Portugal.

I booked and paid 100 euro for my car two weeks before I arrivedat luton .i then paid paid an extra 125 pounds for Insurance and another 50 pouds which I was told would be refunded ,it has be 1 month now and I havnt been refunded the 50 pound I traveled from the 19th sep to the 21st sep Jennie

Picked up a car from Edinburgh airport. My experience was fine but the person behind the desk was sooooooo rude to the customer ahead of me. And he ended up paying almost £200 more because he didn’t have a credit card. In 2 minds whether to use them again Not cheap. Not expensive. Car was fine

The car was clean, but the service a bit slow, I had to wait 2 hours to pick up the car, there was no office I had to wait in the middle of the car parking there was there was only one staff member

The Green motion office was very hard to find. Finally i found it in another companys office, there was just a little sign in their window to show that they also managed Green motions rentals. Pick up and return was fast and easy.

My experience was at Glasgow airport.Good airport shuttle. Too much upselling. We had booked 2 cars for 5 people as we wanted. They tried to upsell a bigger car. Once is enough not 3 times I had to refuse. Same with extra insurance. I had purchased this with another company and the sales person kept saying oh well I'm not sure if this is good. Clearly a ploy to frighten people into paying them more. Also there fuel policy is shocking. It should be full going out and back. Not your car has 3 bars so comes back with the same. How is anyone meant to know how much 3 bars is. I would also advice taking the video of exterior and interior of the car as mine had way more damage than they had recorded.

No issues with booking, and had great experience with the staff at Heathrow branch. However, beware of £100 fine to enter the car park without registering at the holiday Inn reception, also I was expecting to pick up the car at the airport rather than the office being 15mins away. The bus information was wrong (also wasn’t told you have to pay) and ended up having to pay for taxi (£20) to get to the office.
