There needs to be an option for ZERO stars. DO NOT EVER USE GREEN MOTION CAR RENTAL!!!! After paying for a vehicle through Expedia and buying a third party insurance policy through them, that insurance was not accepted when we arrived to pick the car up. I was charged an additional fee although I carry full coverage on my own policy and my credit card adds coverage on rentals. In addition there was another $500 "deposit" charge that was never disclosed I had to pay on the spot. Whoever details their cars had the bright idea to put Armor All on the brake pedal making it slippery causing an unnecessary dangerous situation

Green Motion is by far the worst car rental company I’ve ever dealt with. As a frequent traveler who regularly rents cars, I’ve never had issues like I did with this company. They are absolute scammers, piling on hidden charges that ended up costing me more than 300% of the initial rental price. When I returned the car, they claimed there was a scratch on the bottom of the bumper that I hadn’t noticed when I picked it up. In fact, it was so minor that I couldn’t even see it myself, and one of their staff members inside couldn’t locate it either. However, another staff member, who clearly knew about it beforehand, went straight to the spot using a phone torch. They told me that unless I could provide a photo proving the scratch was there before I drove the car, I’d have to pay nearly £400—and they deducted it from my deposit. I plan to challenge this through my solicitor, even if it costs me ten times the amount, purely on principle. Avoid Green Motion at all costs.

this company is still holding my money - 1500 pounds after I have reported an accident at their rental car 6 months ago...firstly they said they just need to take my deposit until time when this accident will be resolved.... first 2 months they were responding to my emails when I asked about the updateds, for last 2 months they stopped replying and do not intend to talk to me anymore...avoid this company at all cost!!!!!

Terrible company, do not use!! Paid for weeks hire, flight was delayed and THEY canceled booking, no refund! Have went to Booking.com and will get my money back from them for breach of contract! TRIED TO CHARGE US 4X THE HIRE PRICE FOR NEW HIRE!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! SCAM COMPANY!! BOOKING.COM DROP THEM, THEY ARE SHOCKING!!

They are supposed to send 123,000 euros to my account and it has been 3months ,they said in order for them to send me money they have to show a loss on my account and once done they will send the money and I waited and got nothing. People I was dealing with are Ben Williams and Benson Green. Very unprofessional in the trading world and are a scam, They also stopped responding to my mails and calls. I had to reach out to Financial expert TheresachinRecovery INC to help me recoup my money back from them and I am glad it was successful. I have all my money now. Green Motion Malpensa Airport are cheaters, stealing money, accusing and not providing evidences of their claims, as a result they steal a lot of money from customers for the same damage over and over again. Avoid at any cost! they are under investigation by the police.

Got a parking ticket which was mistake got it sorted out but the rental company charged me 70 quid admin fees crooks do not use them

Green Motion Athens is probably one of the worst car hire companies imaginable. Our pick up from the airport was smooth, although we did 100kph in a 50kph area. It was impossible to accurately record all the damage to the body work. I subsequently counted 23 areas of damage some with multiple marks. Within 7km an orange warning light came on I tried phoning for advice but there was no response. It was about 2am and we were helped by a petrol attendant who said it was related to the tyres. All tyres were 40 kPa instead of 32. Before reaching the motorway a different warning light came on. We returned to the garage. The attendant told us it was about the engine and might only be about a maintenance issue. We decided to drive with the warning. The next morning on checking the car we discovered that one rear light and brake light were not working. Green Motion were slow to respond but Zest who we booked through were great. A few days later we had no headlights. Both problems required half hour drives to find a garage that could fix them. On the return journey the road to Green Motion office was closed by wild fires. They still charged us €30 to leave the car at the airport and told Zest they had refunded the charge for the new bulbs, which they didn’t. Although the price may look attractive the risks of serious consequences are not.

I had a terrible experience with Green motion Car Rental at Munich Airport. I booked a car to be picked up on 12.06 at 9:00 AM, but the staff was late, unable to speak in German, and the car provided was dirty and full of waste. Despite these issues, they charged my card for an "out of hours" return when I returned the car earlier than planned — even though their contract clearly states the charge should be 30 EUR, they took 100 EUR without explanation. When I contacted them multiple times to address this, their responses were dismissive and failed to resolve the issues. They ignored my request for a refund and refused to acknowledge their mistakes. Avoid Green Motion if you value your time and money!

Absolute robbers and they shouldn’t be in business! I want my money back that I paid to them originally. And they caused us real inconvenience as we didn’t get back to our villa until very late and we had no food that evening for us or my small child under two. Absolutely disgusting and the manager was the person I spoke to at that time.

The most expensive scooter rental service in Corfu port! They try to maximize their profit offering fake full casco insurance, to avoid the deposit, and money cash, with the excuse to offer you a ‘’fake’’ discounts. At the end, we paid 50 euros per day, compared with the 35 euros/day of the rest of rental companies, which offer the same, if not better, service. Avoid!

Incredibly unhelpful staff, I had 2 credit cards when I went to collect my hire car, they refused to take either of them and said we could upgrade to a premium package for an extra £279 for a 2 day hire, complete rip off, would never use again, a real cowboy outfit

Terrible company Terrible company. Booked through booking.com and paid in full and also took out comprehensive insurance. After walking for ages and eventually finding the place. There was a party of 6 of us and we booked a minivan. They would not accept our visa debit without extortionate extra fees double what we paid for the car hire. The person we were dealing with was nice but had poor English. I tried to explain that we had already paid but he kept asking for an additional £756. I couldn’t believe it and went back to the rest of the family that was with us and one of them had a credit card so we went back and offered this but they still wouldn’t accept and a manager came over then and got quite rude and refused to give us the car and left us standing there. I eventually apologised and said we would just pay the extra but that it was very unfair but he said no and asked us to get out. The other thing was that none of the staff were wearing name badges so we were not able to identify who we were talking to. Thankfully we went back to the airport terminal and europecar was extremely helpful and got us sorted with another minivan with no extra charges and no need for a credit card visa debit was accepted. Now at least we can get on with our weekend and spend it with our seriously ill family member but such a pity we had to endure that. I did eventually get through to booking.com and got a lovely lady who was very sympathetic and managed to refund us 75% of the money Date of experience: 29 August 2024

Scammers, like others have said our was covered in scuffs and scratches, we drove on motorways and a roads only return the car "aah this little chip is new" - it wasn't it was clearly rusted and old, "these scuffs are new you must have hit a wall" "no that's road dust" -"we go through insurance I need to report it" They were doing exactly the same thing to a couple before us as we parked the car up, clearly 'normal business' for them. Avoid at all vosts

We rented a car for 11 days in the office of Beverly Station, Edinburgh. Soon after starting our trip, a ‘technical service’ light came on in the car, reminding us that the recommended mileage before inspection had already been exceeded. Two days after, we had to fill up the car with AdBlue (5-liter can in BP station, 20 pounds); otherwise, the car wouldn't start in less than 500 miles. Some days after that, the car had some pulls and warned the following: ‘Engine fault: Repair needed’. We had to call -no one answered- the technical assistance (RAC UK), finally sent an online form about the breakdown, and received assistance > 12 hours later (had to stop in Oban overnight). It was finally an electronic failure with no further consequences, but after returning the vehicle we weren't even offered any compensation, nor were we refunded the money paid for the AdBlue bottle (and they kept the receipt!). The customer service, technical service and understanding on the part of the office staff were absolutely disastrous.

Shame on Green motion Dubrovnik airport which let us as dogs under the sun. We had paid one month ago the car rent and they destroyerd our arrival in Croatia refusing to rent us the car. Go away from this poor business Agency knowing not what à person is. Shame on you. Nothing is green but all is dark. Their name is Dark motion.
