“I had 4 quotes for solar panels, a battery and an ev charger to be installed. My house has a simple north facing roof. It was interesting that all quotes were similar and with a good deal of work done by each company. I chose Matt and Karla Carey as they were using a Tesla battery which suited my narrow outdoor space. This did cause some hilarity when I called the other companies as they said this was usually the reason given by customers that they were chosen to avoid Tesla. The whole process was very slick. Jake and his team arrived about 8am and by 3.30 they had finished the whole job. The boys were a pleasure to have here and I was very impressed by the way they problem solved and discussed solutions with me. A good tidy job was important to me and that is what I got. Matt has always been immediately available if I have had any questions but ultimately the system just needs time to settle in. I am very impressed with the power I am generating. It’s a pity the Genesis buy back rate is so low. Overall I am extremely happy to have chosen to go solar.”

“I received excellent service throughout the entire process. The team provided helpful advice, answered my questions promptly, and made the purchasing experience straightforward and enjoyable. The pricing was competitive and represented great value for money. Delivery was efficient and everything arrived as expected. While I did not need to use the returns or refunds process, the information provided was clear and gave me confidence that any issues would be handled professionally. “Great experience dealing with Andrew in the Whanganui region. He arrived to the appointment prepared and asked a lot of questions to understand what was important to us and what we were hoping to achieve out the product and then gave us options with each product benefit to choose from. We felt fully informed before making our decision and so it was an easy decision to make. The installers left the space extremely tidy and there was no disruption to us during the installation process. Every part of the process was professional and felt safe. We had no concerns or issues and felt no pressure to proceed if it wasn't right.”

“WE had an appointment with Andrew McNabb. It Calle don time. He had set aside an hour for the consultation - so he was taking our concerns /questions seriously - it was not a brush off. He listened and then provided my wife and I with clear precise information in relation to our questions. He took the time to explain how our solar panels were helping us with our power bills. He also asked follow up questions and then gave us excellent advice on power savings, for example when to run our pool filters even in winter. We were given ample time to re-ask questions or pose other avenues of enquiry. We appreciated his insights and that he was very well prepared for our consultation. Thank you Andrew”

“I had my solar installed by Jono in Blenheim several months ago and I have been very impressed with the product and the after sales service. He is always available for any questions I have and explanation of the system. The whole process, efficiency from start to finish of installation and setup, communication and expectations of the product has far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Jono and Harrison’s for anyone contemplating solar here in Blenheim.”

“We have recently used Harrisons to install a system (with battery) onto our property. Andrew(Manawatu and Kapiti)was responsive to our initial inquiry, and when he visited our house gave us multiple options at various price points to suit most budgets. All the information that he gave was great for making an informed decision. There was no "hard sell" or rush, and once we decided on the system we were going to buy the process was seamless. Now it is installed, it is working as we were advised it would. I would thoroughly recommend talking to Harrisons if you are thinking of installing solar.”

“We are very happy with the solar installed at our home. We have 30 years on our panels for warranty; we choose only an Inverter plus Solar panels. Like the look of the panels all black without lines in them. Very professionally installed any questions answered. We like the thought that we are making some of our own power reducing our power bill. Because this is a New Zealand company had to wait for a few months to have this installed, only needed to Paye a $1000.00 to hold our place in queue until ready for work to begin them 50 % and final amount when all completed. “HARRISON INSTALLED THE SOLAR PANELS IN MY JOUSE AND KEPT TO INSTALLATION TIME AND GOOD SERVICES AFTER INSTALLED SPECIALLY SOME CONNECTING AS I AM AN OLD SO NO GOOD FOR SOFTWARE. RECOMMEND HARRISON SOLAR WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTIES.”

“Matt and Karla Carey from Harrisons Solar oversaw the installation of my solar panels in Wellington. Their customer service has been superb. Matt first came around to talk through the options and tell me what the process was going to be. They have kept me posted all the way about progress. The installation team were great. Matt came around and sorted out a wi-fi issue (not of their making), doing that on the day I contacted him. So far so very good and I am very grateful for how smoothly it has all gone.”

“Harrisons Solar Northland were very helpful and knowledgeable. The local owner Sarel Joubert came out and assessed our needs well. Then it was only a few days wait and the team were placing the panels and the Powerwall 3. We have only been using the system for a few hours but the panels are still generating electricity which is powering the house and charging the battery. I can commend them highly.”

“Solar installation with Andre and Tanika Kavanagh and their team. In retrospect, the hardest part was deciding whether to install a solar system at all. Once we spoke with Andre, who did a preliminary check and clearly explained the pros and cons for our situation, the decision became much easier. From there, it was simply a matter of lining up the finances and giving the go-ahead. From that point on, the communication was excellent. Tanika and her team kept us informed every step of the way with clear, easy-to-understand emails. Installation dates were set early and the itinerary was discussed in advance, which made it really easy for us to plan our days and know exactly what was needed and when. The whole process felt very simple and stress-free. On installation day, the friendly and professional installers arrived in the morning and completed the job within about six hours, with minimal disruption. Even after everything was up and running, Andre and Tanika followed up to make sure the system was working properly and took the time to walk us through setting up the app so we could monitor performance ourselves. From start to finish, the process was efficient, straightforward, and highly professional. We couldn’t be more delighted and would happily recommend Andre, Tanika and their crew.”

“I must apologise for this late review as it relates to work carried out in 2025. We contracted Andre and Tineka Kavanagh to supply and install a 19 panel system at our house in Rimu Street, Taupo after obtaining 3 quotes from other local suppliers. The system that they supplied was superior to what was offered by the other suppliers and the pricing was very competitive. The installation went very smoothly, and the installation team were extremely efficient and very knowledgeable. They were very friendly and professional. Throughout both Andre and Tineka responded promptly to questions and provided a high level of quality service. This is the second time we have used Harrisons to install solar at our properties and on each occasion we have been impressed with the quality of the product and the service we received. I would thoroughly recommend Harrisons Solar and in particular Andre and Tineka Kavanaugh.”
