Would love to be able to review Harrisons solar if we ever even received a quote. I've called twice and sent in requests for quotes via website 4x now and not a single follow up from them. Thats when I'm trying to get info and give them money, not even after they have it.

From the first consultation to the finalized installation, nothing was too much trouble from the Harrisons Solar team. They were totally professional and accommodating with the end result looking very smart and streamlined. Great follow-up from Andrew McNabb from Harrisons. Looking forward to reduced power bills from now on!

Consultation seemed to go OK, consultant needed more info from a colleague about the installation before he could provide a quote, I never heard back. Followed it up, apologies, quote will be sent soon, blah, blah, still waiting. Care factor of zero from Harrisons solar. Disappointing, plenty of other options out there though.

Matt and Karla Carey from Harrisons Solar oversaw the installation of my solar panels in Wellington. Their customer service has been superb. Matt first came around to talk through the options and tell me what the process was going to be. They have kept me posted all the way about progress. The installation team were great. Matt came around and sorted out a wi-fi issue (not of their making), doing that on the day I contacted him. So far so very good and I am very grateful for how smoothly it has all gone.

Harrisons Solar Northland were very helpful and knowledgeable. The local owner Sarel Joubert came out and assessed our needs well. Then it was only a few days wait and the team were placing the panels and the Powerwall 3. We have only been using the system for a few hours but the panels are still generating electricity which is powering the house and charging the battery. I can commend them highly.

Worst customer service you could ever imagine.Months of water entering my roof. We will get back to you…….. inverter full of water. It ok just turn it back on. Says Harrison’s solar head office. Duty of care ?

Placed a contract with Harrisons Nelson for a solar system. Conditions included a deposit. Asked for an invoice and got the quote back. Asked again and got the quote back with 'Proformer Invoice' typed on top. Asked by email for installation date estimate... No reply... emailed a week later... no reply... emailed 3 days later. No reply... email in the afternoon that I was cancelling contract.. immediate email response !!! Not good enough.. not a professional service

Solar installation with Andre and Tanika Kavanagh and their team. In retrospect, the hardest part was deciding whether to install a solar system at all. Once we spoke with Andre, who did a preliminary check and clearly explained the pros and cons for our situation, the decision became much easier. From there, it was simply a matter of lining up the finances and giving the go-ahead. From that point on, the communication was excellent. Tanika and her team kept us informed every step of the way with clear, easy-to-understand emails. Installation dates were set early and the itinerary was discussed in advance, which made it really easy for us to plan our days and know exactly what was needed and when. The whole process felt very simple and stress-free. On installation day, the friendly and professional installers arrived in the morning and completed the job within about six hours, with minimal disruption. Even after everything was up and running, Andre and Tanika followed up to make sure the system was working properly and took the time to walk us through setting up the app so we could monitor performance ourselves. From start to finish, the process was efficient, straightforward, and highly professional. We couldn’t be more delighted and would happily recommend Andre, Tanika and their crew.

I have a solar system installed through Harrisons, Hawkes Bay. I am very happy with the performance of the system I have but I was given representations at the time of purchase that cannot be honored one year on. I purchased the most expensive panel option available so that the warranty would be honored if replacement was needed or if I wished to expand the system o could do so. One year after purchase I approached Harrisons only to be told that my system could only be expanded by three panels. This was extremely annoying given that I had specified that I wanted a system that could be expanded. The story then got worse. After being given a real run around I was eventually told that no panels could be added because those panels were out of production. The inner of Harrisons undertook to see if she could get new panels from one of their other franchise owners and get back to me. That was three months ago and I have heard nothing. One of their major sales putches around these particular panels was that they were European and would always be available, unlike cheaper Chinese equivalents. One year on I cant get them and u feel as though I have been discretely misled. Be very careful before dealing with this franchise. I intend to initiate legal proceedings.

I must apologise for this late review as it relates to work carried out in 2025. We contracted Andre and Tineka Kavanagh to supply and install a 19 panel system at our house in Rimu Street, Taupo after obtaining 3 quotes from other local suppliers. The system that they supplied was superior to what was offered by the other suppliers and the pricing was very competitive. The installation went very smoothly, and the installation team were extremely efficient and very knowledgeable. They were very friendly and professional. Throughout both Andre and Tineka responded promptly to questions and provided a high level of quality service. This is the second time we have used Harrisons to install solar at our properties and on each occasion we have been impressed with the quality of the product and the service we received. I would thoroughly recommend Harrisons Solar and in particular Andre and Tineka Kavanaugh.

I recently had solar panels installed at my home, and the entire process was outstanding from start to finish. Neelam was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He took the time to explain each step clearly, answered all my questions, and ensured I felt confident about the investment. The installation itself was smooth and completed on schedule, with minimal disruption to my daily routine. I highly recommend this service to anyone considering solar—great communication, excellent workmanship, and a truly hassle-free experience!

Solar: Palmerston North. A small wait we were ok with to have a visit and discussion about the Solar package. We were impressed with the idea of the product and paid our deposit to lock in our purchase. Should the installation have gone smoothly, then we would have had no idea how bad the customer service from Harrisons would be (locally). It felt like the sale was made and then we were of little interest to our local rep. The install is contracted to another company. Our product was installed, however a part was missing so they said they were coming the next day. We planned our work schedules to be home, however no one turned up. 2 days later, someone “randomly” turned up, they could not get the system to work and the next day they found that we had a faulty inverter. We then received an invoice the next day asking for the other portion of the payment. Unreal, since they system was not working. During this time, not a word from Andrew our local rep. During this whole process his effort to reply to our emails were slim to minimal. During our frustration with no replies from Andrew we were forced to contact Customer service. They committed to following up, however they also did not come back to us on the day they promised and we needed to make another call. 19 days later from the date it was decided the inverter was faulty, we had an electrical certification booked. This was completed, however still no working solar system. Just over a month later we got a phone call from our installer and the new inverter had arrived and installed the next day. We have a great working system now, however the lack of Customer service is enough for us to warn people to consider what is important to them.

Right from the first enquiry Nerum was prompt with his response and was extremely helpful and thorough with helping me through the initial process that I booked and confirmed the same day. Wayne was amazing with the install process and took the time to explain the set up and benefits from the system I had installed.

Nerum did a great job explaining solar to me and listening to our needs. The install team was on time and got the job done quickly with no fuss. We had a power cut the following weekend and were barely affected thanks to the new system.

From start to finish, our Solar journey has been really well managed with Harrisons. We originally started our journey with Guy Coleman when we were in Red Beach and he was great, fantastic communication and excellent service. We then moved to Karaka into the variable hands of Nerum Bonesetter. Every care has been taken along the way. Brilliant communication from Nerum about the process, and the patience as we completed the move and kicked off our solar install. The guys who did our install, Jaldip and Jaggy - team photovoltaics, had excellent communication, took real care of our property, and did an excellent job of getting his hooked up. Nerum continued to do a great job of supporting us by going through the app with us to make sure we set everything up to take the best advantage of the plan we're on. I highly recommend Harrisons based on our experience.

Right from the first contact with Nerum to the install with Wayne the whole process was seem less and incredibly easy. The team are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful would highly recommend
