“Thanks to Carl Williams and colleagues Sian and Renche in the office at Harrisons Solar, from the first really detailed and helpful meeting with Carl scoping our requirements through to final inspection, we had a seamless and hassle free installation of our 16 solar panels and Tesla Powerwall battery. At each stage in the process from new power meter change, scaffolding arrangements, through to the highly efficient 1 day installation of the solar system components, we were kept informed of progress and the weather dependent contingency plans. Our first meeting with Carl through to final inspection of the system took about 6 weeks. Despite our installation being completed close to the shortest day, we have been really pleased at the amount of solar power generated from our panels even on overcast days and our first power bill since the installation reflects the substantial reduction in used grid power.”

“My advise, stay away from this company people! I am reaching out here because my patience has run out after months of dealing with unresolved issues. We have 21 or 22 solar panels on our roof, yet our power bills have been horrendously high, reaching $350 in the middle of summer. Upon investigation, we realized that our inverter is not working. I have been in contact with Kevin, who always responds promptly to emails but fails to take any meaningful actions. This circus has been going for 1.5 months! We were promised an electrician but he is always away or too busy. Despite my suggestion to use other available electricians in Queenstown, Kevin insists on using this specific technician. When I attempt to call him for updates, my calls are never returned! We organised our own technician as soon as we realised we had an issue with our invertor and he confirmed that the inverter is the problem. This should be covered under warranty, yet all we get is continued delays and no resolution after almost 2 months.”

“Amazing customer service from the initial meetings, getting a quote, through to the installation and training. Darryl was informative, listened to our needs and designed a system for us accordingly. We also obtained 2 other quotes from different companies but went with Harrisons both for the quality of the products (solar panels, battery and inverter) as well as his competitive price. The whole process was smooth and seamless with Karyn on the admin side who answered any queries promptly. The instal was amazing and happened very quickly from accepting the quote. Blair and his team were professional and efficient and everything was installed in a day. We have now had our system up and running for almost a month and have had no issues. Highly recommend getting a quote from Harrisons if you are considering a solar instal.”

“Install went quite smooth until I went to cook dinner and found the installer had disconnected my oven and hob …tried to contact local rep and installer several times via phone and txt with no response…I had to call out an electrician at extra cost to me to remedy the problem.. after install every time I try to contact local Harrison rep he fails to reply for a couple of days so very frustrating.. it’s been over a month now and my import/export meter is still not installed.so can’t use the solar to its full potential”

His solar system installer S4 Smart Electrical Ltd did an excellent install with all the cabling etc. hidden in the wall. We purchased AIKO NeoStar solar panels and Tesla power wall .
