I have given them several orders but most of the plants received have been in terrible condition. By matching dispatch times against receipt, I can confirm this is not down to postal delays but due to Hayloft sending out unacceptable plants. Even when they have sent replacements these have been equally as bad and most have been thrown straight in the bin.

Very poor quality of plants, delphiniums, begonia illuminations all very leggy with yellowing leaves, have planted out, but not expecting much. The begonias cost me double what I could of paid at my local nursery, wish I had waited for garden centres to reopen during the lockdown. Had them for 3 weeks now and not looking much better, by the time they do get going it will be the end of the season, my patio pots look awful because of them. Also purchased some bare root elatum delphiniums, planted them but no sign of any life yet. Extremely disappointed. Will not purchase from Hayloft again and definitely will not be recommending.

Tomato plants despatched 26May and arrived today 2nd June in a dreadful state. Tried to revive them but no joy. 5 days in the post has killed them off. Hayloft must do better by guaranteeing next day delivery if plants are to survive.

Just received my order supposed to have been 12 Lupins mix bare root instead I received 12 young plants and as a gesture of good will received 3 extra can honestly say they are only fit for the compost heap a refund would have been much more appreciated A waste of money plus nothing to plant in the garden now Would not recommend at all

I tried to contact Hayloft this morning but was number 27 in the queue so abandoned the idea. I have made 3 orders with you and the order numbers are as follows: OR0138547, OR0158844 and OR0037787 So far I have received 3 Philadelphus Little White Love which looked and sounded gorgeous on your website. One plant was in reasonable condition on arrival and the other two were not. They had broken stems due to outgrowing their packaging and black spot on the leaves. I also received Fuchsia Delta’s Sara. These plants were in a pathetic condition and despite my nurturing do not look much better. I rang to complain and was told I would be sent a replacement for the Philadelphus and to wait and see regarding the fuchsias. I have not received any replacements. My Astrantia Ruby Wedding was due to arrive on 8 May 2020. It is now 19 May. I ordered a Philotheca myoporoides costing £45 which was due to arrive on 18th May (ie yesterday). This was going to be a gift for a friend's 60th Birthday which is on Friday. I have now had to make other arrangements as it looks highly unlikely that it is going to arrive in time. In total I have spent £182.40 and request a full refund. I realise this has been a very busy time for you but other companies seem to be able to meet their deadlines. Frankly, if the other plants I have ordered are in such poor condition then I am wasting my money. I am not sure why you are marketing your plants so profusely when you can’t meet your current orders. One very disappointed customer. I have just read reviews from your company and wish I had read them first and I would never have ordered them from you. Never again.

On average very poor quality plants. Spend a fair amount of cash so was expecting good specimens - as an example, ordered six red begonias, only five (5) in the bos , two (2) were broken and all them them were dry. On the whole, most of the plants were weak. Will not recommend you. So as you can expect I will NOT visit your site again. J.Waddington .

Exceedingly disappointed with my order one plant look dead two very weak I try phoning hang on over half hour I give up very upset just a waste of money

sutera scopia mix venus trio arrived brown battered broken and unviable. must have been that way when posted as the package arrived promptly.So unlike Haylofts usual standard.

I ordered £97 of plants. All of them except 5 were in very poor condition when they arrived - tomatoes plants were broken and dead. Replacements were offered but not for 14 days. When requested refunds were agreed. I would not recommend this company

What a catalogue of errors!! So sad have used this company in the past and not been disappointed however will not be using them again!! One set of plants had to be replaced as they arrived rotting! Another order arrived again with signs of rot and a very poor quality overall . I set photos to Hayloft and in fairness the cost of the order was refunded. Another order could not be completed so by way of refund and apology Hayloft sent me 2X £10 gift vouchers HOWEVER when I tried to redeem them against an online order both showed a value of £0!! Immediate email to Hayloft has been ignored. CANNOT RECOMMEND

I purchased some Hayloft plants from qvc a few months ago Hemerocallis Princess Diana We were assured that they would flower in the first year as they were mature plant ie 3years old As yet all I have is leaves no sign of any flowers appearing I am slightly disappointed as I was looking forward to these beautiful flowers please could you tell me why they are not flowering they are being fed regularly with Flower Power

I ordered a number of plants. Lots have arrived nearly dead. The last lot of aubretia only 3 plants could be salvaged!!!.

Received very weak tiny plug salvia plants today. Will have to be potted on and nurtured. Not worth £12 .Clematis order had to be cancelled as plants wouldn't arrive for a year due to shortage.

Unfortunately, I thought, I did not visit the reviews until after I had bought my plants. I was expecting the worst, but on receipt, which was almost by return, the plants proved in good condition. Well done Hayloft. Incidentally I read the reviews on a site called Trustpilot. I tried to post my review on the same website. This proved impossible due to deficiencies in their website. I would certainly like to give them one star.

This Spring we bought plug plants from Hayloft for flowering boxes. The plants have grown beautifully and, apart from one or two, we filled 12 boxes with Hayloft plants for a wedding last week. The boxes were much admired and transformed the reception venue. They continue to give pleasure to everyone. Thankyou Hayloft. .

I have been a customer for 3yrs & whilst they may have some unusual varieties their service is dreadful . There have been 3 occasions when I ordered specific coloured plants only to find a year later when they flower that I have been sent the wrong variety/colour. I have complained & received refunds but would rather have been sent the correct plant in the first place. They seem very amateurish. I eagerly awaited the first blooms of an orange phlox planted last year - its pink. They have sent me the wrong plant AGAIN!!!!!

Received bare root rose in poor condition that did not grow. Hayloft could not replace so sent vouchers. Ordered 12 geranium plants that took five days to arrive and were in very poor condition. Complained and sent some more, which took four days to arrive and were again in very poor condition. Will be lucky to end up with half a dozen plants worth planting out. Would never recommend Hayloft to anyone.

Recently received pack of 1 purple & 1 white Hardenbergia in 7" pots which were excellently protected & well wrapped, very impressed! Plants in fantastic condition & well grown - not the 2" 'twigs' that some companies send out baring no resemblance to the photographs! Plenty of printed information enclosed. I also phoned to double check that I should only pot them on & not plant out until next year after the frosts and the lady was most delightful & helpful so I would also say that their customer service is a tip top! I have ordered from Hayloft previously but didn't review as I didn't know how to... I have purchased French & English Lavendars, colour changing Calibrachoa and mixed Giant Fuschias to name a few, sometimes via QVC & sometimes directly. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the plants, packaging or professionalism of the company. TRULY EXCELLENT & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I read somewhere that Hayloft was started and is run by 6 women which is fantastic - you are all doing a smashing job and deserve much praise, well done and be proud - there is much competition out there!!
